I am in the market for some new glasses after breaking mine. I was just shopping around and spoke with Michael after making some frame selections. Michael was amazing and has a wealth of knowledge! Purchased two prescription sunglasses recently from Lens Crafter. One is perfect love the fit and vision is crisp the second pair makes things seem distorted. Took the second pair back and they immediately said we will make you happy don’t worry. Tried an adjustment a little better but not great. Fearing I would never wear the expensive sunglasses I was bummed. Optician said I can swap out for regular prescription glasses or exchange for new sunglasses. I opted for a brand new pair of glasses, Lens Crafter applied the purchase price of my two week old sunglasses to new glasses. I did not have to pay any additional money, now that’s good customer satisfaction guarantee!

Was just over 10 mins late because of my pinched nerve in my leg, the doctor had no other patients and was sitting at her desk and they refused to see me and rescheduled 2 weeks later. I wish I could give this place 0 starts but this is as low as it goes. Just shows how much the doctor DOSENT care, better off finding a better doctor around town.

Called and wanted to order contact. Quoted me a price but couldn’t take payment over the phone (only can accept credit cards and not debit). Went in and they told me a different price. Asked about it and was told that it was the price after you do a rebate. But can only do the rebate once I receive my order. I hate it when company’s are not up front on the hurdles and hoops they make you jump through. If I was told that it was a rebate I wouldn’t be that upset. It’s just lying about the price and not being forward with your customers from the beginning.

I absolutely recommend this LensCrafters to anybody! Dr. Sherry Su is amazing and knows her stuff through and through. all staff members I came in contact with was very professional. I am a semi truck driver and I deliver to a major dollar store chain. I had a temporary change in vision due to a medical issue and I came in to get new lenses. Unfortunately my lenses were unique and needed to back ordered. The store manager agreed to provide me with a temporary safe pair of glasses which allowed me to keep delivering critical supplies like Lysol and soap during this pandemic. Being able to see clearly is so critical for a truck driver both day and night. Ill certainly be returning to them for all my vision needs..Thank You!

Moved to the area from out of state and was happy to see walk-ins welcome sign at Beavercreek mall LensCrafters. When we went in, we were told they didn’t do walk-ins. Later we called and were told that even though that’s LensCrafters policy (which is why they have the sign up) the optometrist decided they wouldn’t like to accept them. Sound like it’s time for them to give up their corporate affiliation and open their very own place with their very own name. Will be calling corporate to see how they feel about this. Obviously won’t be ever spending money at this location- giving LensCrafters a bad name.

The optometrist Sherry that works in this office is amazing! I was a little frustrated and she hands down made everything better. Then when I went to deal with my glasses situation the assistant manager (I feel horrible that I can’t remember his name to give him a specific call out) really took the time to talk with me and answer all my questions. The Dayton Mall location made me lose my faith in Lens Crafters but this location restored it.

The office staff was not friendly when it came to having my appointment or follow-up appointment. In December when I had my appointment I called to see where in the mall they were located and I was given directions and told, you have 5 minutes to get here. If you dont make it to your appointment on time, you will have to reschedule. I was at the mall, trying to find the best place to park so I could make it on time. I made it amd was rudely told to sit and fill out the paperwork. Then their internet was down and had to charge my card the old fashion way with the slider that makes a copy of my card. Stating that was the only way I could pay or would have to reschedule. Not a good first impression but I moved past it. Met with the Dr who was very nice and helpful. I was not able to come in for my follow-up and in doing so was not able to get contacts, I did pay for the fitting though. I am in need of contacts but instead of being understanding due to COVID, I was told they are taking the necessarily precautions and need to come in again for a new exam. I stated I needed the contacts and was told if I have my old place that I got them, then maybe I should go back there. The trial contacts given fit perfectly and was having no issues for the 3 months I have been wearing them. Luckily my prescription hasnt changed enough to be a concern and can get them at my old location. I will be returning to my old location and will not recommend Lenscrafters to anyone! I made the poor choice of trying somewhere new and had horrible customer service. I do not recommend.

I absolutely LOVE the optometrist at this location, BUT, I had some issues with my lenses, my prescription was rubbing off of the only eye that Im really able to see out of I bought my lenses back to see if they could be fixed, the man that I spoke with was NOT concerned about my situation and was willing to charge me $400.00 just to replace one lense, after paying almost $700.00 for lenses and frames you would think that they would have accommodated me in a more respectful way, he asked me what I was using to clean them with I explained, eyeglass cleaner and eyeglass cleaner wipes, he then treated me like it was my fault, that the prescription was rubbing off, if that was the case why were they not rubbing off of BOTH lenses!!?? I politely said no thank you to his offer of $400.00 to fix something that was there fault, and said that it is sad, but i will not be returning here for services again, in return he said with a sarcastic remark, sorry to hear that!

Strongly recommend against going to this LensCrafters. Today was the SECOND appointment I made and took time off work for SPECIFICALLY to get contacts and the SECOND appointment that no one was on shift to do the contact teach. Absolutely mind boggling. Common sense would dictate that if a customer makes an appointment to get contacts TWICE, you would have someone there to provide contacts, especially after already paying for the exam.

Well i went to the one in Tampa Florida a few years back and at one point had FOUR different employees trying to help me find frames talk about Sharks for commission and Then i go to this location to get my frames tightened because they had a special wire on the bottom of the frame that holds it in and they gave them back with a huge scratch on them and said thats how they got them NO!!! Whoever tightened them accidently slipped with the tool they use to tighten those types of glasses!! And then they offered me half off new onesLenscrafters the Mafia of eyeglasses.........

Another irritating experience. We specifically asked when making the exam appointments whether they accept a specific type of payment. They said yes, so we made the appointments. When we arrived, the front desk person told us the exams were $10 more than when we inquired by phone. Fine. Everyone makes mistakes or miscommunicates sometimes, right? Then another person comes to take our payment and her total is yet another $10 higher and runs the payment through the machine. She doesnt understand the code it gives her so she runs it again and asks the optometrist what the previous code meant. Well, it turns out that the payment form, (Ill remind you we had specifically asked about this payment) is not taken for exams; only for purchase of products. This was never stated. The independent optometrist does not accept that form of payment but LensCrafters does. You might think that would be a detail they would mention when people call and ask that payment is accepted. Weve seen this optometrist 3 years in a row and each year we have some issue arise with the store staff; from simple rudeness to plain incompetence, today was the last attempt well make to pay for their services.

My overall experience was great, my optometrist DR. SHERI SU was very thorough and found issues my old optometrist missed for years which resulted in a great prescription. I went in to look at frames and found a pair I really liked the shape of, but not the color. One employee told me they had it in black online but i would have to just order it with the lenses. When I asked him how long it would take he told me the black color in that frame was discontinued. I got on Lenscrafters website and it was listed so I was going to order them from the website but it was not applying my insurance benefits. I asked the second employee for help and she said that if the frame is discontinued for them as the store it won’t be available online so I shouldn’t go through with the order because And I quote “You won’t get your money back”. I asked why I would not got my money back and she said “where would it go if the frame is not available”....? First of all, I don’t know if she has never ordered online before but that’s not how that works... second of all, I will lose 100% faith in a company if an employee cannot back up their own store’s website... I understand that she only wanted me to purchase in store- I get it it’s still her job and still a business- but she continued to say “I would never recommend ordering anything from the online website”. I can tell you right now that if you as the employee tell me not to use the website ever, I probably won’t be a customer of your store or company at all.

Appointment scheduling error. Glasses lost and needed replacement ASAP; desk people didnt seem to care at all! They said Id have to wait for another week and when I told them I needed to get my glasses sooner than that all I got was a serious lack of concern! Dr. Su has been my optometrist for years and Im more than satisfied with her but your other folks could use some customer relations training.I called the Dayton Mall and Dr. Rogers will get me in on Monday so Ill be going down there from now on.

I went to lens crafters to have new prescription lenses put in my existing frame but was told they could not use my old frames because they would break and I would have to buy new frames. Not wanting to spend $500 plus, I took my old frames to Stanton Optical and they said no problem!. They filled my prescription for less than half the price that lens crafters wanted. My advice: stay away from lens crafters, dont believe their advertising hype. Go to Stanton Optical. They have more frame styles and selections, better, friendlier service and better prices!!

If I could give this “business” a zero star rating I would. There’s a reason it’s averaging 2.3 stars and hopefully, it will be lower after this review. In fact, they ought to cease operations and quit scamming people out of their time and money. They have been a thorough disappointment from the start to finish. My first visit was an eye exam scheduled with Dr. Sheri Su, which I had to take time off work for. When I arrived, I was informed that Dr Sheri Su was not there that day and someone else would be conducting the exam. I was a little upset that I never got a courtesy call to let me know this ahead of time. But as I came to find out later, courier pigeon is a more effective way to communicate with this “company” than by telephone. The exam was fine and they gave me my prescription. However, they were more concerned with selling me a new pair of glasses than listening to the questions I had regarding the health of my eyes. Instead of buying their overpriced frames, I purchased a pair of Raybans online for almost half the price. I brought them in the following week to have prescription lenses put in them. They took my frames and collected about $300 for the lenses. I was told they would call me when it was finished and it would take no more than a week. After 8 days with no phone call, I decided to call on my lunch break to check the status. I hung up after being on hold for over 20 minutes because I had to go back to work. I called again after work and to my surprise, someone answered within 5 minutes. I asked her if my glasses were ready to pick up and she put my on hold while she “went to go check”. Over 35 minutes later, a different girl picked up the phone because she realized I had been on hold for a long time. She informed me that the first girl was helping a customer and must have forgot about me. I explained to her that I wanted to know if my glasses were ready to pick up. I was put on hold again while she went to go check. About 5 minutes later, she picked up the phone and told me that my glasses had failed the “quality inspection” and it could be another week before they were ready to pick up. This time, she assured me that they would call me when they were done and there would be a “rush” placed on my order. After another week went by, I still had not received a phone call. At this time, I was extremely upset. I spent $300 and wasted to weeks of my time, and had absolutely nothing to show for it. I tried calling to check on my order again but hung up after waiting 10 minutes on hold. I went into the store that night only to find out what was taking so long. Apparently, they could not complete my order because the frames were unrecognizable, even though they took all the necessary measurements when I dropped off the frames in the first place. And on top of that, there was a very similar pair of RayBan frames sitting right there on the shelf! After expressing my frustration, they offered $50 off a pair of new frames. I declined the offer and demanded to have my frames back and a full refund. They gladly obliged and gave me the frames back. But upon closer inspection, my frames were severely bent and the demo lenses had been scratched in multiple locations. I asked to speak to the manager but the girl who was helping me refused to go get him because as far as I could tell, he was hiding in the back like a coward. She kept repeating, “there’s nothing I can do”, and “that’s what the boss said” when I demanded further compensation. I had already wasted over 2 weeks of my time and a good pair of RayBan frames so I decided to quit wasting my breath as well. I left and vowed never to return again. It was by far, the worst experience I’ve ever had with a company or health clinic in terms of customer service. And now, I’m seriously considering filing a complaint with the better business bureau. So to put a long story short... DO NOT STEP FOOT INTO THIS STORE UNLESS YOU ARE LITERALLY BLIND AND CANNOT READ THIS REVIEW. AND IF YOU ARE BLIND AND A LOVED ONE IS READING THIS FOR YOU, GO TO A LEGITAMATE OPTOMETRIST INSTEAD

Made an appointment online and never received a confirmation. I even printed out my appointment review for the front desk people just in case. They didnt accommodate me at all for the inconvenience of their faulty website. All because a confirmation email was not sent by them. The front desk even admitted to the errors that their site has for many individuals.I do everything online to avoid as much human error as possible and have had much experience in doing various schedulings online. Thus, I trust myself when completing tasks or conducting purchases/appointments online.The very fact that this happened was pretty pathetic and annoying. Lenscrafters may be the most popular option out there, but I will never give them my business.

Went in today and I have been waiting over a month to see dr. Sue and have not been able to wear my contact lenses and was stuck wearing an old eye prescription. I called ahead to let them know that I would be late and they said okay. I showed up 15 minutes late and she told me that I could not be seen and I had to reschedule. I had a wrap around my neck and I told her that I had a neck injury and it took me a very long time to shower and even make it out there and the secretary or whatever just said oh Im sorry to hear that and no effort was made to tell dr. Sue or see if she could see me anyway. I want to find a real eye doctor in eye clinic who actually cares about their customers and patients.
