My son and i both had appts. 20 minutes apart.. I Called to tell them I was running late because my son had a migraine. They said no problem. Then when I got there they would only see one of us-- even though there was no one else there (or in the parking lot and they were open for another hour) and Dr. Slammer always takes care of both of us in less than 15 mins. Dr. Slammer is great, but new office staff is not! Now I either find a closer eye Dr. or drive another hour to come back again!! Thanks a lot ladies for lying to me!! Happy Holidays to you too. Try smiling!!!

It’s been a month since I had my eye exam - I was told two weeks and my glasses would be ready - I’ve called twice - once a week and a half after exam and once when it would have been the two weeks - nothing - I’ve received two phone calls to “update me on the status” - first one was “Thursday or Friday” next call was last Friday saying “Monday or Tuesday” - not sure where these are sent to fill the eyeglass prescription, but I’ve never had this type of experience before getting glasses - I’m going to need a new eye exam by the time they come in. Not happy!! Bad customer service!!

My child and I are definitely made to feel comfortable. The Optometrists are kind and cheerful. I have always felt they answered my concerns and that our eyes are excellently taken care of. The Opticians are particularly good. I really like the way they helped my teenager find a fashionable choice but kept the lens light and not too heavy.

Will Never go to this office again. Doctors are super nice. Never had a problem with them. The short, older white lady, with grey hair, who works as a receptionist is horribly rude. It blows my mind that shes allowed to act the way she does. The last time I was in there, I told her my appointment was supposed to be for contacts instead of glasses. She literally yelled at me in front of everyone there and said I was wrong. She proceeded to tell the person I was with, who also had an appointment that day, she probably doesnt really need contacts anyways, when she took her back for her exam. We called up there later and the lady who originally made the appointment answered, and said that she did put down that it was supposed to be for contacts and the receptionist was wrong. This was the last straw for me. They lost three patients that day. Every time Im in there she makes comments about how I dont really need glasses/contacts or I dont have much of a prescription. Im sorry, but you are a receptionist. Who gave you the right to ever comment on a clients prescription? Apparently whatever knowledge you think you have isnt accurate because I, for a fact, wouldnt be able to function without glasses. My vision is very blurry. I get anxiety any time I have to go into this office and deal with her. So glad I never will have to again. I am so upset by this lady and the way she treats people. Every single time Ive ever been in this office Ive witnessed her treat patients terribly. This business would be able to keep patients if they cracked down on things like this. Dont work in health care and treat people like animals. I really hope someone sees this and a change is made with their office staff. Its NOT the doctors that have an issue, its the office staff.Edit to responder: This was not the first time this lady has been horribly rude to me and/or other patients in the waiting room area. When we called back it was confirmed that it was in the computer correctly and this lady was in the wrong. Especially after she literally yelled at me after asking about it and proceeded to run her mouth about me (a patient) to another patient. Also, I did not show up to the next appointment because we told you guys we were done after this incident. That was the last straw. The real issue here is the way she treats people and that was communicated to the manager that day. Somebody else I know just recently had another rude encounter with this SAME lady. Which is why I went ahead and made this review. It makes no sense that she is allowed to get away with treating people the way she does. It needs to be known and something needs to be done. Every time Ive been in here I have witnessed her unprofessional behavior. Once, I saw her yell at an elderly man and be so unbelievably rude to him, you could tell it really upset him and it made me sick. I work in health care and come into contact with A LOT of patients, families, and staff. I know what is appropriate and what is not. This is an issue.

A great pedatric eye exam! The office was running in time, and was well staffed so we didn’t have to wait long for our appointment. The doctor was kind and calm and put my child at ease. When we said we had to buy cheap glasses online because she breaks them or loses them to often, the tech working in the office said she totally understood, and handed over her prescription and PD measurements with out a fuss. I wish all my experiences at eye doctor offices were so positive!

I love coming here! I usually don’t enjoy going to eye doctors but I love this place so much that when they say “see you in 6 months” I get sad! The doctors are amazing, they are very kind people! They also have variety of glasses, and prices! And they also assist you within 20 mins

Not sure which doctor I had but he hardly took any time measuring my vision at all. Usually doctors will take 15 or 20 minutes adjusting their equipment asking you “is 1 or 2 better?” This one only had two options for me to choose from, so he was done in like 60 seconds. I thought, ok, maybe all that fuss is usually unnecessary. But the sample contacts he sent home with me did not give me the best vision. Not happy with the results.

My daughter and myself have been patients for almost 10yrs now and my bf has been with them forever...and we love the staff and both doctors are AMAZING. We have always had nothing but good experiences with exams, glasses, and contacts. I had a terrible eye infection on two different occasions and was able to be seen same day or next day to be treated. Patty is our fav, but we may be somewhat bias bc of our familial ties...lol Picking out frames is a breeze. I let them know our insurance limitations and they will grab what I have avail in that price range and it keeps me from having to hunt around. They have a wide variety of frames to choose from and contacts avail. They also taught my daughter how to properly put in and take out her contacts, plus sent us home with samples for her to use and decided on dailies or monthly contacts. If youre looking for a good, knowledgeable, and friendly eye dr, this is the place. Thanks Beavercreek Vision, you guys are the best!!
