Love their purse selection.... always find a nice designer bag... my kids love their clothing section, especially the 8 year pld. They sell clothing you wont find at other stores, very unique..

Had a bunch of clothes for men and woman. Also the store is very rooms and the customer service was fantastic always asking if I needed help.

Lately Ive been a little disappointed that no one seems interested in ordering my size anymore. When the items were transferred to the store the staff was very eager to order anything I wanted, that sure has changed. No one offers ordering from another store anymore if I really want the item they give me the phone number for the store that carries my size so I can call and order it myself.

Ive been shopping at Von Maur since they opened at the Greene and have never had anything less than 5-star+ service, which is why yesterdays shopping experience was such a shocking disappointment!I came in to return a dress, but stopped in the handbag department first to look around. Two employees were behind the back counter, with one giving instructions to the other in regard to what hourly rate associates would receive if called into work. (If youre reading this and looking for work, they pay surprisingly well!)While I was browsing another customer came to them and asked for assistance. The one who was instructing walked with the customer to the front of the department to help, and I followed them. I stood at the register for a bit, and then went back and asked the remaining employee if I could also receive some assistance.The woman was obviously distracted because she not only forgot that I gave her a receipt for my return, but she asked me the same questions several times. Even though I didnt say anything, she must have picked up on my displeasure as at the end of the transaction she went into a fast-pace tirade about how she was a 20-year professional and that this was how shed been treating customers for years and years.Maybe she has been treating customers the same way for 20 years. But my guess is that shes a new employee to Von Maur and that her type of service wont be appreciated by other customers either. But thats just a guess. But its not a guess that she was inattentive, as she had to come running after me to give me a receipt shed neglected to tuck into my bag.I thought I missed Von Maur during the pandemic. Perhaps not.

This has always been my favorite department store. Von Maur is beautiful, clean, the staff is incredibly helpful. And on top of everything else, you can have items gift wrapped!

If you were going to a wedding or out for a nice dinner Von Maur has the most beautiful dresses. They have excellent service and take care of all the details when getting dresses altered..

I love this store. The sales people are friendly and very helpful. I like Tribal casual wear and Von Maur has a good selection in plus sizes. Im happy to drive an hour to shop there.

I dropped into Von Maur late on a Saturday evening to see if they had any mens suits on sale. The visit turned into the fastest purchase of clothing Ive ever made. The sales lady was very helpful. I found exactly what I was looking for, a very high quality suit in my size, marked down 75%. It all happened in less than 30 minutes. I am very pleased; will get alterations for it next week.The following Monday, I returned to VonMaur for alterations. It was one of the best fittings I have ever had. I assumed they would just mark pant and arm lengths, and call it good. The lady who took the measurements went beyond that, marking alterations to better fit the coat and pants. Her work was excellent; the suit fits me like it was custom made. There was only a small charge for the additional alterations needed. I couldnt be happier about a suit purchase. At a time when most other stores no longer even sell suites, Von Maur is still doing it right, and the quality really shows!

I wish there was a Von Maur in Cincinnati. Excellent customer service, good selection, well staffed and quality merchandise.

I love Von Maur! It is the best store I have a work at. I worked in the Luxury Handbags Department. Ive worked in several department stores like Macys, Elder-Beernan, New York and Company, Kay Jewelers. I never seen any store like this one that has live piano playing. The most highlighted part of me working at Von Maur, is meeting Mr. Jim von Maur himself! He was very pleasant to me and down to earth. I hope to stayed at Von Maur for a long time to come. Thank you Von Maur for having me as an employee. It has been an remarkable experience! I thank God for blessing me to work at such a beautiful store. 🙏🙏🙏

Monica in the handbag department is extremely rude. I have never felt so unwelcome in a store. You can fake a smile and at least pretend you like your job. If your wanting a handbag you might as well drive to the outlet in Monroe they are respectful and give such positive energy.

Did not love it, bought a 400.00$ suit . For my dads funeral . Tried it on for my mom, she couldnt believe I got a suit that expensive she made me take it off while she was putting it back in the garmet bag she noticed a small hole in the sleeve. On the counter it had a sign that said return policy 90 days with receipt. I told her that and that I would take it back. Got to the store .A salesman told me he couldnt take the return and called a manager to do it. I said no problem waited and she came down and told me she could not give me a refund because the tag was taken off.even though I left the orange stitches that held the tags on . I told her I was modeling it for my mom did not matter .no refund I showed her the return policy sign she said the hole policy was somewhere else that she could get it for me if I like . I told her that was ok I believe she had one that said no return without tags attached somewhere where none could see it . Then I asked if she was going to make me keep a 400.00$ suit with a hole in the sleeve, after some thought and checking to see if they had any in stock, I went and got one off the rack that I got the original one from. she even exchanged it for me it had tags still sewn on it, but I was afraid to ask her to return it.so know weeks after the funeral I have a nice 400.00$ suit to where someday.

Great service from V from the gift department at the Greene. Always very helpful and called me back per my request to let me know about Halloween decor I was waiting on. I just ordered another Halloween item through Von Maur website. Great customer service. Thank you V. Ill see you again!

Pulled up this morning and had checked the web site to verily store opening. Said NOW OPEN at 9:05 and hours today we’re 9-9. Called the store and the woman who answered was very nice, apologetic and said she doesn’t know why this happened because the store does not open until 10:00. Several people have arrived and then left but we drove 30 minutes to get here and don’t know where else to go... besides home!

Prices are high but you can find deals. Love the live piano player you can hear through out the 1st floor.

Love Von Maur’s sales’ rack and shoe room. I know Von Maur can be pricey, however visit there sales racks in each department and you will find major deals at reasonable prices. The shoe room has reduced priced shoes and you can score high quality shoes or boots at a low price.

Von Maur is the most wonderful store. The staff is courteous and helpful, the place is laid out so beautifully and it’s wide-open! The ladies bathroom smells like vanilla and feels like an elegant country club. The shoe sale room is second to none, and the clothing is elegant and well-made. With the interest free credit card they ship for free anywhere in the country. We are lucky to have one in Dayton. I hate shopping, but I actually make time to visit Von Maur!

I like to come here and listen to the pianists. Theyre very good. Ill sometimes walk up to them, place some cash in their cup and say, Man, whatre you doing here?

Its a great store, with great clothes. Their shoe sizes are limted currently due to the cvoid-19 outbreak. Their items are on the expensive side. Over all a great store to visit if you are looking at nice clothes.

This is a fantastic place to shop. Service is the first priority of every member of the Von Maur team. It honestly can feel like the twilight zone because the level of service feels like belongs decades in the past...how far the other department stores have fallen. Live piano music is just the icing on the cake.

Actually expect customer service like from 1960s or so. Customer comes first. Staff is friendly and ready to assist. No funky attitudes like most establishments. Expect to feel like you are appreciated. Very nice!

I love this store. If you visit during Christmas, theres usually someone playing Christmas songs on the piano. The interior is very nice and organized; the womens restroom is also great. The prices at the juniors section are also pretty good. Worth a visit!

Just purchase several great items at Von Maur at the Green in Beavercreek OH. I was really impressed with the military bags honoring our men and women in the armed services. Im going to keep my bags as keepsakes as a reminder of your thoughtfulness.. Also, the sales associates are the greatest. Always with a smile and very helpful.

Best customer service! I was shopping for 2 formals, one for a dress rehearsal and one for my sons wedding. I am not use to formal dress and much prefer the gym but the customer service at Von Maur made me feel comfortable. I found both formal dresses there after shopping at 5-6 other stores before. The dresses were stunning! And reasonably priced, with free hemming. I felt elegant and confident wearing them both and they were both very comfortable. This is an upscale store where I love to shop. The sales people are very helpful and always available. I have also used the free alteration service. If you shop often you can find items on sale.

Personally I go to the cologne counter here. I do know that if you happen to like high end womans shoes they have them and a clearance room for them as well.

Our dining experience here was probably the best I have ever had. Wonderful people, fantastic food, and just a great overall experience. They really went above and beyond, to the point of catching us before we leave to give us a military discount which was briefly mentioned in conversation. 100% will be returning.

This place is really fancy! Iy had a nice atmosphere with a live pianist. The sales associates were pretty helpful, although some of them seemed to be avoiding us. The lady that checked us out was very nice though!

Nacy was very rude, and i had a terrible experience at the store. I felt that i was being judged the whole time i was their!

When I was there having live music on a grand piano in the foyer was a plus. Very friendly employees were perusing the store keep shelves and rack clean, greeting, and always offering to help.

Went November 14 for a facial and had my make up done by Domenica Lafon she was wonderful and done an awesome job I left Von Maur looking and feeling like a million bucks thank you all for allowing me to come and get all this done I will be back.

Expensive but highly professional, best place around for lingerie. Highly recommend the services of an associate named Nancy, who found perfectly fitting bras and checked me out in less than half an hour. I havent shopped in the other departments.

Was there tonight, had taken my 16 yr. Old grandaughter for the first time for her, she said that this would be her favorit store, she loved it. Was taken pictures of things she wanted for christmas.. Wanted to know if you put out coupons for the holidays.

If you want assistance in a lovely environment with live piano music, this is the place. My biggest disappointment is that the Petite Womens Department was moved away from its original location and replaced with active wear. If I want active wear Ill go to a sporting goods store or Walmart, not Von Maur. Free alterations are a plus.

Great shopping with unique products

Since moving here about 10 years ago, I missed shopping at Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, etc. I was introduced to Von Maur by a friend and have had nothing but good experiences shopping there. They excel at their customer service, dont charge interest on accounts, and offer quality products. Yes, the prices are often higher but they frequently have sales where one can find significant mark downs/great deals.

Sales persons was the best. Very helpful. Didnt have to find a sales person. Love shopping get there.
