I hadnt had so much human interaction in years till I came to this place. Several people came up to me and asked me how they could help me. Found the stuff I needed. Other employees were playing lively zydeco music on the way out. Its so nice here. I will come again.

She not only got the Jersey for me, but she allowed me to come before the store opened, and waited for me at the front!! This is a decent Academy. Despite long lines the checkout lines were fast. They have a large selection of sporting goods at relatively good prices.

Got some cute leotards for my kids for gymnastics this year... Even found some on clearance! Was so nice to be able to try things on again!

The staff is nice and so is the selection of work out clothes and work boots. I feel like you can get the clothes cheaper other places though, I wish they had better/more sales. I also got all my sons football gear there and it was mostly all at one store so that was convenient.

Huge shout out to 3 employees who went out of their way to be so helpful! The guy with red hair and beard for trying to find floaties for 2 little girls and the 2 women, Martha & Kawana, who were extremely nice and went above and beyond. Thank yall so very much. 🤗

Took granddaughter shopping. She actually found things she liked. Store is clean and well stocked. Checkout was faster than I anticipated.

Prices have gone up so much since COVID, but they have it all. Nice friendly staff. I have my fishing license.

Was looking for Carhartt clothes and found them after asking a sales person. As you enter the store Carhartt will be to the left rear of the store. Found some great shorts, a little pricey though. Allot of people were shopping, they could have used some more cashiers. Great place to shop though. My wife was not so lucky, seems about all they have for women is the stretchy tight stuff. Not my wifes cup of tea.

Staff is always very friendly and willing to help gentleman in the shoe department, as well as the person when you see when you first walk in, to the cashiers very friendly!!! they all deserve a raise!!!!!

My go to place for clothing, shoes, and fishing supplies. This place is always very organized and staff is always eager to assist with anything you need.

I love academy but they’re just like every other store. They have “sales” but not really sales. They’ll advertise something saying it was originally $44.99 and with the sale it’ll be $39.99. As someone who goes almost every week you know it’s been $39.99 for months. They raise the price then list it as a sale back down to the original price.

My cashier Melissa a light the man I didnt get his name to help me pick out 5 air mattress for grandbabies very very helpful. A wonderful experience .These folks made my tacks stress free and quite fun accually...Thank yall!!

I have visited this location about 3 times between now and December. Probably the most Ive ever been to academy! The service at this store is top notch! The door greeter whos name I cant remember was very friendly and helpful. I know his name starts with a D! The firearm counter associates were very helpful as well helping everyone as quickly as they could. During the holiday season the lines were pretty long to check out. I wasnt looking forward to the line, but it went so fast! They had plenty of cashiers!

The people in the gun and fishing department were nice and knew what they were talking about

The staff at Academy were great. They helped with my husband and I trying as hard as they could to find the shoes we were looking for. We ended up with another brand of shoes as the ones we saw online was not in stock at the store.

The same as any other academy. They are starting to get ammunition more regularly so thats a good thing.

They have ammo... But limited. Store is clean and there were enough cashiers to get us out unlike some other stores where there may only be one or two. Prices are a little high, but then everything is getting that way.

I love Academy! But, The shelves throughout the store were so bare .. Im actually concerned about whether or not theyre going out of business or at the very least moving the store to a new location.

They have a decent selection but you arent going to get any kind of service. Might as well just order what youre looking for online rather than dealing with retail.

A good place to find all your sporting need

No one to help or ask if they have a certain item. Employees walk by you like your not even there. No one ask if you need help.

Product selection is good, service can stand to be improved-- especially at the registers where the cashiers look at each other to see who will call the next customer, or just look away all together to avoid eye contact. If you dont like your job, go work somewhere else. Very frustrating with 5 open registers and not calling any customers to them.

The last three times I went in, I walked out and left a cart full of merchandise due to customers lined up from the registers all the way back to sporting goods. Complete waste of peoples time but never again for me. The consumers shouldnt be inconvenienced due to staffing issues on the part of the store. But, if people are willing to put up with it itll never change and obviously management isnt capable of figuring it out on their own. Go figure.

The worst employees I’ve ever had an experience with... took 20 minutes just to figure up that they already had rung up an item and then couldn’t find the price, then charged twice and also tried to keep the item! No apologies and very rude.

Purchased ATF shotgun when I assembled the gun after I brought it home the receiver jammed Returned the gun to store they sent it off to there repair facility. The company stated it was not a warranty problem. After several visits to the store the store director Mr Reynolds called me and stated all they could do was offer me a 100 dollar gift certificate and told me he was sorry. Mr Reynolds was kind and I certainly understand his position since he was given direction from his bosses.Very disappointed with this decision as I really liked going to the store and purchasing my sporting equipment, clothing and running shoes.Needless to say I told him to keep his 100 dollars and gun.I don’t blame the local manager or the employees it was his manager that refused to honor the products they sell and rep.

Great price on these boots compared to Boot Barn who told me they can match the price but did not these boots were $129 and $199 at Boot Barn

Fun fact...on the front of the store is a giant sign that says price match any advertised price they even say they can beat the advertised price by 5%... its a lie... I even called ahead and asked if they price matched and they said yes they would price match as long as the price was a SALE price and not a CLEARANCE price... however when I got there and asked if they would price match CABELAS SALE price (in big letters it says sale), I was told no. They said they wouldnt do it because the advertised price ended with a 7.Need to change the sign from match any advertised price to we might match a few prices, but probably not.Well played Academy... but that GIANT sign is false advertisement...

Lots of great exercise equipment and shoes of every variety.

Front door person wasnt knowledgeable on merchandise.

Went in to grab some boots for work, they had plenty of choices, ended up getting boots for the whole family.
