I got beautiful chrysanthemums in the garden department yesterday they are just lovely and huge and they were only 20 bucks the grocery store is selling half the size for the same price I am so pleased

Terrible I went to the garden section couldnt get in from out side. No cashier no help with finding items, they just point and stay behind the desk, so lazy management will not help cashier, long lines checking out.

Had exactly what I needed, though of the employees I saw, i didnt see a single one wearing a mask. Guess they dont understand how carriers work, but the fact they have so little regard for their customers health and safety, and the fact I couldnt find a single employee that could help me with what I was looking for, lost them 3 stars.

As plumbing parts were unavailable in Houston, I drove to Beaumont on 2/20/2021. I tried various stores where the personnel were very friendly and helpful. However, when I reached Sutherland in the afternoon, I found the salesperson there to be very unhelpful and terse. A rare unpleasant experience to an otherwise, nice and fruitful trip. I will not recommend this store.

You have many great people in your Beaumont store. I have purchsed 30-40 thousand dolars of products annually for over 20 years. With new management, my10% discount was removed and your store will no longer be my primary supplier.

We often frequent Sutherlands because its close to home and many times has the best prices on what we need. Staff are friendly and the store has good selections.

I really like the place. It is very well stocked, organized and the prices are highly competitive. Additionally, it is seldom crowded like some of the other big box stores that I frequent, and, they have a nice selection of work clothing as well.The only downside for some is if you dont really know about what you are looking for. There is not much in the way of customer service, at least not when I have been there. If you are a craftsman they will often have what you are looking for. At least that has been the case for me.

Customer service is terrible. Went with my father to return an item and the manger Jerry was unprofessional and rude. He ignored my father and told him to find someone else to help him. My father is 74 and needs assistance. So when I went to ask another worker for help I was told the front was Jerrys station and he couldnt do anything to help my father. I will be calling cooperate and reporting the manager. I cant believe how rude and unprofessional he was especially to an elderly man.

So I would place Sutherlands somewhere between Ace and Home Depot as far as size but with home-ier feel. If youre looking for less people and a less mainstream type product this is probably your place. The staff is friendly and they have a fair variety of products

Not safe. Nice employees but they wear masks below their nose or around their neck. as summer temperatures have scorched the U.S. — and, let’s face it, some social distancing fatigue has set in as the pandemic continues — health officials have had to remind people that pulling their masks down below their noses or their chins renders the mask basically useless.

You find almost everything, nice prices dont help at all, employees dont have any clue about the stuff that you are looking for!!

I recommend Sutherlands over all the other home improvement stores in Beaumont. They have good service and their prices are usually competitive with anyone else in town. Ive gone to other stores and as soon as I checked out I was on my own. At Sutherlands they will help you out to the car and load your materials for you. The management there is great and always helpful to anyone looking for something. If you are looking for good service and great prices I recommend you try Sutherlands first. If they dont have it they can either get it or send you to someone who can.

Updating aged bathrooms and purchased vanities, toilets, mirrors, faucets from Sutherlands during a recent ladies night. Emily was a great helping me choose items that would work well together. Contractor and I picked up items and in the midst of insralling they discovered one toilet was broken as was one of the vanities. However, Sutherlands did deliver a new toilet and the contractor was able to cover up broken place on vanity.

Great prices,,, customer service was terrific ! Paint machine went down and I ask if I could leave my number so that as soon as they got it going please call me.... They returned my call before I left town... I was very satisfied with the ladies that handled it for me...And,,,, the Paint color was Spot On !! All my products have been great quality...

Good products and Inventory but,as usual,no floor help to be found when you need them. Store was so empty they could have turned red out the lights and no one would notice. Thank goodness M&D is right across the street.

Went here to buy vegetable plants for the garden. They have a huge variety, and they were very healthy looking. I found exactly what I wanted, was in and out in 15 minutes.

Bought a shower stall it is going in a cabin for me to live in in the future it was o. The top shelf I got a really good price on it and they took it off the top shelf and loaded it in my pickup it took quite a while to do this but they .are sure it was secure for me to drive home I live about 12 to 15 miles from the state line so I had a good ways to travel very friendly and helpful and the best price in this area I. So the tell you something then don’t do what they tell you are at lest miss lead you on things .They are slow service and not the most friendly people to work with . And walk away from you when you are asking questions and tell someone else that’s busy to help you because you have other things to do and just leave you standing after they came and asked you may I help you I did not go to them .. worthless employees and rude bad service not what I expected from this place really went down over the years . Horrible place of business,, all the managers in duty didn’t care bout getting product that we paid for two weeks ago... weren’t interested in fixing the problem and didn’t care that there was a problem ... had all kinds of excuses on why we couldn’t get our product but did nothing t get us our product .. I will not ever shop here again and neither will any of my family or friends...

Poor service. High prices. No more military discounts -or any other discounts for that matter. No more price matching. Took an hour to get 8 pieces of lumber and 2 pallets loaded. New owners have something to learn about business and competition if they want to stay in business. Wont go back ever. Sad. This one will probably go out of business soon like the one in Port Arthur did.

Last week i was building a nativity scene and needed some hay sams western store wouldnt sell me a bag of hay.but the nice manager at sutherlands did.from now i will do my spending at sutherlands on college st.

One employee standing on same isle cleaning up things, two different customers on the plumbing isle. Did not ask either of us if we needed help or of we had any questions. The other gentlemen asked where a product was all he said was on that shelf over there in the middle. I asked about a shut off valve he acted like he didnt hear me, so I left and went to M&D.

Customer service worked hard to resolve billing problem. So nice!

I have r tried for 2 years to give Sutherland my business. Unless it is a straight forward retail sale they are clueless . I give them the material lists for projects they dont know what half the items are. I wait days on price quotes for simple things. When I do get them they are wrong. I dont see them surviving.

If they actually answered the phone when called I might do business with them. But they dont so Ill take my money elsewhere.

The whole place is covered in mold. The costumer service is terrible. Waited an hour to get our wood cut.
