Have not seen a shipment and I am getting no refund satisfaction. Is this site for real?

Received 4 IDENTICALLY DEFECTIVE Toilet Tissue Dispensers that were made in Taiwan, which Ameraproducts states counts as made in America. I contacted customer service and was told I could return them, at my cost with a 30% restocking fee. I explained that restocking them would be wrong, after which they told me, they were damaged in shipping, and I would need to file a complaint with the carrier. I explained that the toilet tissue dispensers are designed so that the second roll will drop when the first roll is empty. However, the mechanism installed on the right side in each one was defective. I had looked inside each one and could see the mechanism on the right side was too long and would not release the second roll when the first was empty. They asked me to send a photo after which I was told that the manufacturer had determined it was damaged in shipping. I complained again and was given an RMA allowing the return at their cost, with the restocking fee of 30% at my cost, and a note that if it was determined to have been damaged, I would receive no refund and could file a claim with the carrier. Not surprisingly, this whole process took a couple of months, with me having to call repeatedly to get a response in each case. I did not return the product as I felt it highly likely that I would get nothing in return. Instead, I chose to cut the mechanism shorter on all 4, and now each works fine, though it took me about two hours to remanufacture. Overall, I had a very bad experience in terms of both product and service.
