I was in a desperate situation and called them about a possible transmission issue I was having at that very moment on the highway. I was only about a mile away and they told me they just happened to have an opportunity at that exact moment to see how bad it might be. They were able to give me immediate attention to get a quick diagnosis. They then got me scheduled and set up to have the problem fixed within a very short period of time. Luckily, it wasnt the transmission but their crew were also able to fix a major engine coolant problem within a couple of days. Fantastic service. Fantastic customer care. Great people. Its no wonder they are always super busy. Its possibly one of the only vehicle maintenance and repair businesses I have ever felt comfortable in dealing with knowing I wouldnt get taken advantage of or get incompetent service from. This is the second time Mr. Transmission has worked on my car and done an excellent job, they take their time and make sure the job is done correctly. Leland is very professional and easy to work with. My experience with this company is positive and I trust them with both of our household vehicles!

The team here were great and Leland was great and talked through all the options before me and even found a technical service bulletin from the manufacturer that was applicable to my issue. The work was done on time and for the prices discussed on the phone. I can now see why the shop is always got a healthy stream of customers. I will be returning for future work.

STAY FAR AWAY!!!! This place is a joke. They will call you everyday telling you something else is wrong with your vehicle and they wont fix the actual problem. Dropped my car off for some back end work and was assured that the problem was fixed. I didnt even make it a mile down the road before it started acting up again. Went back in to tell then they didnt fix it and told me it would be an additional $2K because they think it was something else that they didnt see before. Leland likes to think he knows whats going on but doesnt have the slightest idea what hes doing. Take your vehicle somewhere else because this place is god awful.

Leland and his team of technicians quickly diagnosed and corrected a shifting issue in our Ford Escape. Leland kept me up-to-date on the progress throughout the day. He personally drove the vehicle before and after the repairs were made. I value this type of customer service and will utilize them again.

After flushing my transmission my truck runs great.

This is one of the most professional and equipped mechanics Ive ever been to. The only reason Im giving them four stars instead of five is because it takes a very long time for them to get to your car. I am sure that this is because they are always so busy, which I am pleased to see because it means that they do good work. I just wish that it wouldnt take two weeks for one job. But there is nothing to say against the staff or their work, because everything they do is excellent and their customer service is second to none!

These guys did a jam up job on my truck! Leland was very informative throughout the entire process and the technicians are top notch. How many shops give it two test drives and ask to bring the vehicle back in 10 days to do a third just to be sure the job was done correct? These guys are the best!

Cant describe how nice everyone in this shop is. Called during non-business hours and still they answer it and politely tell you about their upcoming hours and schedule. They try their best to help you and are very careful with your vehicle. Awesome customer service.

I got ripped off i was told $1700 for a full overhaul and when i went to pick it up they said $2700 drove truck 60 miles and it doesnt drive over 70mph i feel so disappointed doing disaster relief from Hurricane Laura in Lousiana and i get taken advantage of in Texas thanks alot

Needed a signal bulb replaced. The gentlemen here were very nice & polite. Service was quick & they had me in & out in about an hour. The business waiting area was clean. I paid the price I was quoted over the phone. I plan to return for future repairs as needed. As a woman, I really appreciated feeling comfortable & not being taken advantage of. Thanks

My truck was doing a bad stutter while driving and they knew actually what it was. Instead of charging me to replace it, they found a cheaper was to fix it, saving me $600. Theyre honest and good mechanics. Ill definitely be going back for any other car repairs

I could not be more pleased with all levels of concern for my problem or the manner in which it was solved. I was positive I had a transmission problem. It was explained that the transmission checked out fine and the problem was friction in the rear end housing. Leeland said Ford made an additive that should take care of the problem. Repair cost much much less than a transmission. Really appreciate the honesty. Highly recommend Mr Transmission.

Leeland was so so helpful! If youre looking for honest and trustworthy people to work on your vehicle, these are the guys to work with! My transmission was shot, and while they could have fixed it for $2000+, they were honest to call around and let us know of a defective part within Chevy Traverse transmission, and informed us it would be covered if we went to a GM dealership. The people at Classic Chevrolet didnt even know about this, and were hard to deal with, but Leeland went out of his way to call more GM dealers, to find out that he was in fact correct, and it would be covered! I had my transmission go out on my vehicle (not fun) so I brought it to Mr. Transmission. This was my first time ever using this shop but I must say, it was a very pleasant experience. Althought I was upset my transmission went out, the staff made it a much more calming experience. Mr. Leland and his staff were always very honest with me and kept constant communication with me. (Which surprised me seeing how busy they always were) They did a good job explaining in detail what all was wrong with the transmission and even showed me my taken apart transmission so I could see for myself. Pricing was fair and now my car is running better than before. I will definitely be using them as my mechanic shop from now on.

I am very pleased with my service at Mr. Transmission. I had visited them once before and they repaired my problem for no charge. This time, they told me what to expect and called to tell me it was another problem and would I allow them to repair it. I sure did and the service and price was excellent. They could have told me the original problem was the source of trouble, however, they searched it out and found the real problem. Actually, at a good savings for me. We were leaving to go out of town and noticed a fluid leak on the garage floor. I called and spoke with Leland about the leak voicing my concern taking the road trip. He said bring it by to look at it to see if we should use the vehicle on the road trip. Took it to them and they identified it was a leaking transmission cooler line. They said it wasnt leaking bad enough not to take the vehicle out of town. We set up an appointment for the following week to have it replaced and they ordered the replacement line that day. We had the repair completed and all went well. I appreciate them looking at our vehicle on the spur of the moment. I dont think that would have taken place if we would have taken it to a dealership. This is the second time we have used Mr Transmission to repair our vehicle and completely satisfied. I highly recommend Mr Transmission.

Was quick, fast and easy. Completely rebuilt my transmission in less that 4 days on a holiday weekend. Very knowledgeable people, saved me tons of money, and answered every question I had.

We had been taking our car to another mechanic in Beaumont and they happened to be closed on Good Friday. My sons car was not shifting into 4th gear. I quickly got online and found Mr. Transmission with great reviews. We took the car there thinking that it was the transmission, the car is 17 years old. Leeland had the mechanic look it over and they determined that it was the CO2 sensor. Highly recommend Mr. Transmission.

Dont ever come here there CROOKS! There so nice and friendly at first until you come back cause they ripped you off.This is the worst place to ever get a transmission. I bought a car from a friend the trans. Went out so they over hauled it. With a warranty. Got it back drove about five miles and started acting up, they towed it said they would have to look at it. They said theyd have to put another transmission in it. So went back in shop got it back after about 3 weeks. Drove it about a mile down the road had to call them to again. By then I was really upset. Got it back the next day they said everything was fine about a week later it died in the middle of traffic with my children, was able to restart it. Drove it back up there, the manager who gladly took my 2300 said thats what I paid for. Since they were losing money from buying from a junk yard to fix my car they pretty much didnt want to fix it anymore since they didnt do it right from the start. They dont care about your safety! My husband was driving and the car died from the transmission and was hit from behind.

Mr transmission did the CVT change in Altima and responded in a timely and professional manner.

Brakes started giving me some problems. Lucky to have a locally owned and operated place where I can drop my car off and know that as soon as they call telling me whats wrong that I have complete trust that they will do a great job for a great rate. If your anthing like me, you depend on the reviews given by other patrons to assist you on your choice for any purchase. Well my friends, you can feel completely satisfied from the moment you enter the shop, to the moment you get to leave the shop with your newly refined vehicle.I understand that a couple people had complaints about this place, but, for the life of me, I dont know why. I was instantly, and pleasantly, greeted when I first entered the front door of the shop. The mechanics were well informed and very understanding to my lack of mechanical knowledge. So much, that anyhing I didnt know, they went through a step by step process as to getting me understand the reason for the mechanical issue and how that part would be fixed.I suggested several services that I, (non mechanic), believed to be necessary. This is the part to me that proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt that this, like many other shops, was not out to scam you. They could have easily agreed to take my money, and perform those services on my vehicle that would not have been necessary. Instead, they explained to me why it was not important to have those services tended to until a later date.They helped me outline a future servicing schedule with them where not only I can keep up with my vehicle, I can also, just drop it off and they already know what to do with it. Its like having an accountant that keeps your files for taxes, except they keep files for your car.My friends, you would be a fool to take your car to any other location but this one. I am beyond satisfied with my experience, and this will be the only shop I go to from now on.

I have gone to this place several times because of my transmission acting up. Leland rarely charges me to fill up the transmission fluid. Lately, my transmission was shifting very, very rough. After my boyfriend filling the fluid often, it was acting rough. I had called around looking for another transmission. My boyfriend was going to replace it for me himself. I took it to Mr Transmission today. I expected them to tell me that I needed a new transmission. They looked at it and told me it was only computer problems. They fixed it. They charged me zero and my car is fixed!!!!!! That just made my whole week! I am soooo very relieved knowing that I dont have to replace my transmission!I have heard several stories from reliable sources (including a mechanic himself)say that mechanics take advantage of people all the time. They couldve easily told me a lie, saying that something else was wrong, charged me for it, then only resetting the computer, making a few hundred dollars, as a result. I am sooooo impressed with these people!!!
