Amazing selection of furniture. We were shopping for a sectional and our sales person Sherry was so helpful and patient while we searched and sat on so many couches and sectionals. Found exactly what we needed and then bought a beautiful area rug too. Definitely will be back when we need more furniture. Great sale going on right now too. Thanks Sherry for all your help.

Expensive but cheap furniture. I have had quality issues with everything I’ve ordered. Special orders take forever and they won’t cancel it. If you special order it’s yours. They did take two damaged items back after I pushed the issue but they promptly put them out on the floor to sell to someone else! If you are buying from them be sure to inspect everything very closely and make sure of the measurements. I’m stuck with a bed that takes up all of my space and now I don’t have room for nightstands. I special ordered a cal king bed because I need every inch of space. I relayed this to my sales person in the beginning. They never said that I’d get a one size fits all. They sent a regular king bed with modified rails. It is massive and the holes where the regular king rails should go are visible. I wanted to cancel an ottoman that I’ve had on order for months and isn’t scheduled to arrive for 4 more months. I was going to spend more money and purchase something that they had in stock but they wouldn’t allow the cancellation. The assistant manager told me that she was through making concessions for me after conceding to take back a chair that was lopsided on the frame. I’ve purchased 3 rooms of furniture from them and spent thousands of dollars. Ok. I guess I’m through doing business with them. They may be the only game in town but I can drive to Savannah or Charleston.

Good selection, quality furniture. Sales staff is friendly but not pushy and took time with us as we shopped for a couple of pieces.

We were greeted twice upon entering the store, by the man helping with the coat drive (!) and then by the saleswoman. Sherry was great-- she listens well and only showed us furniture relevant to our needs. The prices seem reasonable. The wait time is longer because of the impact of Covid-19 on the supply chain, but 12-15 weeks feels OK under the circumstances. Well see when our order is delivered if the customer service continues as well as the order process.

We had a wonderful experience with our sales person, Therese. She helped us pick out the perfect furniture for our newly painted living room. We selected a rug that we had to be custom ordered. The rug we selected didnt not work and it clashed with our beautiful furniture. The manager, Kim, of the rug department was so incredible! She let us return the rug and select a new one. Most custom orders can not be returned. I am so grateful she did this of us. Our living room is now beautiful, and we look forward to spending lots of enjoyable evening entertaining!

We just purchased a new couch and mattress from Beverly at FWDG. She was so kind and helpful in both selections that I cant praise her enough. Buying furniture is tough enough but buying a quality mattress is difficult do to the over 600 manufacturers in the US today. Reviews dont help but Beverly made it easy and I got measured by a really cool tool used by NASA. It showed exactly what kind of mattress I needed for back and hip. I will review the mattress and couch after delivery but I have little doubt we will love them. Thanks Beverly!

We recently bought a sofa, 2 chairs and an ottoman. The experience from making the choices until it was delivered to our home all went very smoothly. Beverly did an exceptional job in helping us with color choices as well as selecting the right style to go with other existing furniture and Persian rugs. The delivery men were also top notch. I was interested in purchasing a recling chair. Customer service was very friendly and helpful.The floor model that I liked, which was an apple green leather recliner had a few nicks on it. After much negotiation FWDG was willing to do some very minor repairs and reduce the price a few dollars. When the chair was delivered to my home I was not pleased with how the repairs were done. Since the purchase was a “final” sale I had to accept the chair as it was. After having the chair in my home for about a month I am enjoying watching TV, and reading a book while reclining in it. I’m glad I made this purchase and I would shop at FWDG again.M. LeRoy

We were originally told our rugs would be here mid September. A couple of weeks later we were told October 7. Feel like they forgot to order our rugs.

Ridiculously overpriced... everything. The inventory looked like something my grandparents would have bought 30 years ago. They mark up the worst junk then put it on clearance Any worthwhile item was easily $500 overpriced. The wife and I ran for the exit.

This store was the answer to all our problems with furniture shopping. Right away we were greeted and introduced to a knowledgeable sales associate. Katy was friendly and actually took notes of what we were looking for. They have a huge showroom with lots of options, such as customizing the specific setup of your couch/ sectional, power or manual recline and several cloth and upholstery options. You can truly get the furniture you want without settling. All of what we saw was made in USA of truly good quality craftsmanship. That said dont expect super low budget prices. At first we didnt know about this gem so were happy to have found it!

Unsatisfied customer:I bought a mattress I thought would be perfect that was delivered on July 5th. Within days I knew the mattress made me hot as I slept. In fact, so hot, I wake up in the night and have to find another place on the bed to sleep to fall back to sleep. I knew there was a little of the memory foam in the top, but the sales person did not think it would be enough to affect me. I signed some document when I paid for the mattress, but it was done quickly without anyone explaining what it said. I confess I just thought it was an invoice. As I had a wedding I was involved in, it was not until last week that I went by the store to ask if anything could be done. The sales person I spoke to suggested I eliminate my mattress cover to see if that would help. She said if it didnt to come back to speak to another person and they would talk to me about my options for another mattress. When I did come back, I was then told the mattress I bought had no sleep guarantee, as their significantly more expensive mattresses did. The customer service manager agreed to contact the mattress manufacturer who refused to accept it back. She said I signed a document that gave them the right to refuse the return of this mattress.I spent almost $700 for a mattress that does not work for me and they will not make it good in any way. I did not know there were people in business who used paper work as a way to assure they got their money even with a dissatisfied customer, especially after some of their own sales people gave the impression they would make it good if this problem could not be resolved.I gave them every opportunity to come up with a better solution, but as far as I can tell there is no concern about my issue, only their bottom line. I do not recommend them as a place to do business with. If you do, read all the materials you sign and be sure you understand up front that they are not interested in your experience after the sale.

Military, Stay a way just another in-house financing rip off. My husband and I walked in looking for a new mattress. The service way awesome if you like feeling as if you are doing something wrong, A lady fallowed us every minute pushing us to the most expensive things. At the point she realized my husband and I were not falling for her games she became rude and snappy tried selling us a king mattress with a manufacturer date of May 2009 nearly 10 years old.

Sherry greeted us at the door, showed us around at what we were looking to buy and with her help we got just what we wanted at a very good price. Sherry and the staff at FWDG never one time pushed or pressured us into buying something we did not need or want. I highly recommend visiting FWDG in Beaufort SC and let Sheryy or another sales person give you a tour of their warehouse and you will find what you are looking for at a really good price. The furniture is quality made, very nice and in many styles. Anytime we are shopping for new furniture or adding a piece of furniture we always head to FWDG.
