I love this place! I am not much of a coffee person, but my friend and I wanted a place to grab a small snack and chat for a while. The people working were super nice and helped me decide on a drink I might like. I ended up getting a blended s’mores drink and a chocolate muffin which were both delicious! I will definitely come back next time I’m in the area!

Cozy coffee shop. Great apple pie latte, caramel macchiato and Russian tea biscuit! Really enjoyed ourselves. At one point we were sitting by the door and a bit chilly, the staff member was so sweet and accommodating. He called the owner and turned up the heat for us. Thanks so much! Definitely will be back.

I like the coffee alot but the workers dont say hi or acknowledge you and dont care if a customer cuts in line in front of you, I rather drive 35 plus minutes to the Stow location rather than 10 minutes to the Beachwood location

We had the Nutty Irish Latte, a regular coffee, and the bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich. The sandwich was delicious, the latte was good but nothing extraordinary. They have coffee beans for sale in varying quantities and a nice, cheerful staff. Cute place. Covid rules were followed.

I wanted to try a sample of two coffee beans (toasted almond and peanut butter cup) and the gentleman helping me was so patient and nice about it. He didn’t even charge me! I was going to tip cash, but didn’t have any at the moment. Service is A1 and kind.

Delicious lattes with interesting flavors (harvest latte comes to mind), a wide variety of coffee beans (hell yes highlander grogg), a cozy environment, tons of mouth watering sweets (Russian tea biscuits send me to heaven), and you can get a mean sandwich. These are all reasons I keep coming back.

A coffee place that has coffee that tastes like gas-station coffee is not a coffee place. People are very nice and service was good however I drink regular coffee, they said that their House blend is a medium to dark roast so I tried it, absolutely terrible, no flavor what do ever.

The coffee is amazing here. For that alone I would come back. The only thing I have noticed that is a bit disheartening is that the display cases for the pastries is generally almost empty when I am there. I was there at 7:20 this morning and there was hardly anything in the case. Plus the writing on the display case that tells you what is there is practically erased - really hard to read. I always look for a grab and go pastry - not a sandwich that needs to be cooked so I was a bit disappointed there doesnt seem to be options available.

Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere! The Snickers mocha was delicious. Cow milk alternatives available. Some pastries and food offerings. Breakfast sandwiches served all day. The egg, bacon, cheddar bagel was tasty, served hot, and a great portion size. They offer a rewards program linked to phone number. Will be returning!

An okay coffee shop, but does the job . I made an honest mistake when ordering my coffee on the mobile app. Instead of clicking flavor I clicked sweetener. The girl corrected my coworker when she picked the order . Verbal discussion was not enough and she had to write directions on my cup on how to order like I am 10 years old. I wasnt aware that I need a scoop ..or in this case a pump of micro aggression to start my morning.

The coffee was amazing, I got a large order of nitro cold brew‘s and they were very prompt. They won’t take over the phone orders because they have an app, I did write in the notes section that I wanted cream on the side, and they did not provide that. I forgot to check and ask because I was wrangling my kids. I’m sure they would’ve given it to me if I would’ve asked.

Much improved. Lovely young LADY, well groomed and professional working behind the counter, instead of their usual assortment of slovenly pierced painted hair kabuki made-upped immature baristas.

Cool coffee spot. They have a lot of different flavors of coffee which is cool. I asked for a really lightly sweetened coffee and the woman pretty much dumped two bags of dominos sugar in there. But it was tasty so I guess it’s fine.

The coffee at Nervous Dog is tasty and fresh, as customers can watch the baristas brewing coffee and customizing each order. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the reason that Nervous Dog is a 4/5 is due to the price and the noise level. Both are a bit high. As a great workplace (minus the somewhat obtrusive noise level) and in a convenient location, Nervous Dog excels with great coffee and great employees. Definitely worth checking out!

Randomly found this location after leaving the container store, where I met Sam, as a business owner I appreciate great customer service, Sam was exactly that!!! If I lived in Cleveland I would frequent this location based off of Sam’s customer service!! He was very knowledgeable and honest, this place has an organic but corporate feel which I think is the perfect blend, that we are structured but chill at the same time!!! Sam spoke highly of the owner of this company!!! My sandwich was DELICIOUS and very fresh and My caramel macchiato was delish!!!! Definitely 5 stars!!!

I have been here numerous times and today at 5:30pm, the guy named Sam was everything customer service is not. He did not listen to the order while we described it (weirdly previous customer was complaining it was not what she ordered when we got in), denied the order was wrong, talked rudely and did not everything so I would not visit here anymore. Coffee is not just coffee, this store needs to realize.

When I first moved to the area in summer of 2017, this was my FAVORITE coffee shop. I frequented once a week, sometimes more. there was a lovely bunch of quirky individuals who were regular employees, and now NONE of them work here anymore. so the last 3 months when Ive gone in, its been sparse, the coffee hasnt had nearly as much flavor, the employees always seem put off by us coming in, and I dont feel welcome and enjoy my visits anymore. I called to express my feelings about the coffee and the manager was sweet, but basically said she didnt know how to help besides free coffee next time. I really hope they up their anty again because I feel they will lose a lot of regulars if this keeps up.

Great coffee as expected from all Nervous Dog locations. Good place to work or chill and the wifi is fast. The vibe is almost like an Irish bar. It is located in a small plaza next to the mall. The staff is friendly and the place can get packed so seating may get hard to find at certain times of the day.

I visited pretty early on 10/6 for the first time and wasn’t able to catch the names of the two lovely employees there, but I was greeted with warm smiles and an excellent recommendation of their pumpkin chai. I will be frequenting this location and am happy to spend my money here.

I have been to Nervous Dog several times and never had a bad drink...until today. This was a horrifically bad black and white, and it was beyond burnt. But to be fair, this was the first time that I have visited this location. But it was a great atmosphere.

I have been coming here daily for my bagel and coffee for the past 10 months. The quality of the coffee and bagels are excellent and the service is superb! Parking and restrooms at La Plas are not a problem. At times it can get rather crowded but I have never had a problem finding a seat inside or outside the shop. The prices are competitive with what other shops charge. The many baristas I have come to know here are caring and knowlegeable people who really make you feel comfortable.Jim (a grateful regular)

I love the atmosphere, it always happens to be filled with people lounging around and working on their computers. Usually a good sign, as most people wont stick around drinking a subpar beverage, you want to stay in a coffee shop with good coffee!Another good sign was that the employees didnt seem to be hating their existence at work. Quite the opposite, they were having a good time (not too good, still professional) but were expedient in making the drinks and taking orders. They had so many different options, I was very tempted to not get my regular order, but I was too curious to see how my order would compare to the others I have had.I always get an iced Americano and my new standard for my favorite iced caffeinated beverage has been set by my new favorite coffee shop, Nervous Dog Coffee!

Im an Akron native and religiously went to the nervous dog in highland square. After stopping by beachwood mall I wanted a smoothie but didnt know the area, so stopped there. Ordered a strawberry banana smoothie and payed $5 for a watered down fruit puree slushy. I could have gotten a better smoothie from McDonalds, NO JOKE. If I were you guys Id either step up my game or just get rid of the option.

Love this coffee bar! Great hand crafted lattes and mochas! My favorite is the Bonfire. Its a mocha coffee with hints of cinnamon, caramel, and marshmallows! Huge fan! The service is very friendly and the place is neatly kept.It resides in in La Place next to Mitchells Icecream. It took the place of Caribou Coffee (which I also loved). I am a repeat customer, and I would reccomend this coffee to anyone.
