Guys, I looked up different shops throughout Bayonne and this is HIGHLY RATED FOR A REASON. I called in earlier today to make an appointment and when I came, I was greeted by BERNARD.BERNARD was super FRIENDLY and POLITE and also very DIRECT (Great qualities in my opinion). He said there was a lot of cars today and so things are delayed. Fortunately for me, I had my Donut tire on and I asked if I could come back later, since I didnt want to wait around. He said thats fine and after an hour I called in once to see how the work flow is, and Bernard said to come in another hour. I come in an hour later and he takes care of my need - RIGHT AWAY.*Context Story: I had gotten a flat tire last night, from a 3 screw, with the fat part INSIDE the tire. Air leaked out fast. (TIP to those that it applies to: I am leasing a KIA, so I was able to get 24/7 Kia Roadside assistance to swap out the flat with the donut tire - covered by kia!)*So RICHARD, the tire tech at Mavis, went straight to work. He lifted the car up, took the flat tire from the trunk, unmounted the tire from the rims (?), dislodged the screw and patched up the tire and put it all back together. I would estimate he did this in 10-20minutes! RICHARD was QUICK and EFFICIENT, which could only come from expansive experience. He took the donut out and placed it back under the car.I will be coming back here for ALL my tire needs in the future. Im so thankful for BERNARD AND RICHARD - taking good care of me and the car. THANK YOU GUYS!

Thank you Allan!!!I have a Nissan Pathfinder and have to say I have an option to take my car to the Nissan dealer and get anything I need on it at a great price. However, Mavis has always met and exceed my expectations. I am always pleased with there price and work they do to my SUV.They always go over everything thoroughly with me before and after work is completed. Not once have I ever waited over the time they have stated it will take for the job and always are very professional, and welcoming.The shop is clean, organized and comfortable👌. I came in because I heard bad grinding by my tires. Ryan the manager helped me alot with giving me the proper stuff for my car an was very polite. The mechanic Ryan was awesome he fixed my car so fast an efficient I was told about a hour or 2 my car would b done an Ryan the mechanic was able to fix it even faster an after leaving the noise was gone. I just moved to NJ an was looking for a mechanic because it so hard to find one when moving but Ryan was a great mechanic he really know how to fix an take care of the customers car. I am grateful for Ryan for helping fixing my car with no issues an Ryan for providing great customer service I will come back again an definetly would like Ryan as the mechanic to touch my car for future services.

Listen Ryan thank you so so much again, we need more people like Ryan in the world, he literally saved my life and I mean it, he’s not your typical everyday rinky shop mechanic, this guy is customer service oriented down to a T and knows his work, without yelling any prices but showing me instead with my own eyes what I needed to see and get done as a SAFETY per caution (again where else will you find service with someone who genuinely cares about your safety). I took my car to the dealership (where they make my car) a few months back and it’s mind blowing what I had to find out in a tire shop from Ryan. I’m so happy I came here because literally who knows if god forbid he never checked my brakes what would’ve happened. I don’t know what else to say but Thank you so much ! Absolutely amazing service. I walked out my house to a flat tire at 5:45pm. My neighbor recommend MAVIS because they were close and good but good doesn’t even describe the service. They assessed my tire and had me back on the road in a blink of an eye. I have been to other Mavis Tires and the customer service at this one was outstanding. If I could rate higher I would!

Ryan is a great person. I had a nail in my tire and he did t even charge me for the repair. Highly recommend mavis. Today is a good day for helpful people like Ryan!! He sure made my day!!!!

I had two blown out tired because of a railroad track pothole. I had it towed to them overnight and they were able to put all brand new tires on. They look amazing. These guys work hard and make sure you are back in the road in no time.

Wouldve rated it lower except tire repair person Rich is a hard worker and was the only one grinding it out for the customers not enough guys

Really passionate people who work here who love cars. Had bought a new set of wheels and needed the tires installed on the new tires, and even though there was an issue with the lug nuts not fitting the new wheels, once I got replacements they still took care of me and even stayed late to make sure I could leave out with my car with the new rims installed.

I had some issues with My car it was stressing me out went to Mavis definitely was frustrated but the manager calmly reassured me he would have me on my way as soon as possible he had someone check the car was nothing major thank God over all My experience with the staff and management was a very calming experience definitely would recommend anyone to stop by and check them out

Service was outstanding from the manger to service technician. The manager was courteous and professional from the moment I entered the building until I finished paying my bill. The technician explained everything that he was doing to my car and was professional at all times. I would highly recommend Macis in Bayonne to anyone.

No one ever likes getting repairs done on their car, but the team at this location could almost make you forget about the repair cost. Ryan was excellent about communicating costs and time frames. Very glad to have this shop in Bayonne.

A specialist from a tire store said, Cannot fix my tire & have to buy a new one, then I visited Mavis, Bayonne, it took even less than 20 minutes, my issue was resolved so quickly with pleasant service. Driver side rear tire became flat due to the damage by 2 nails, Store manager was so cool & would like to suggest to everyone if you have any trouble with your Car tires.

Definitely recommend this place. Got my tires replaced and oil changed. Service was amazing! I did not feel like a customer, they have a personal touch with the way they treat you. I’m very pleased with my experience and will definitely go back in the future.

Quoted me a lower price at a different branch and charged me 200+ for worse tires. Taking advantage of a female for the lack of knowledge. So unprofessional. Will never visit again and tell my friends/family to not either. Take your money elsewhere.Update 10/5: wasted 15 mins of my time to tell me I’m wrong, their quotes aren’t linked from shop to shop and that they can’t offer me my money back. Offered me a store credit knowing I already got my tires done, I’m moving away and it wouldn’t be helpful.

Woke up this morning with a flat. Booked an appointment online. Went in spent less than an hour in store for two tires changed and one tire a nail was taken out. Great customer service. The manager Kenny kept me well informed of the status and ray took great care of my car and showed me everything. Will return.

I went on a Monday afternoon with no appointment, and the service was impeccable. There were two people ahead of me yet the wait time and service time was less than 20 minutes. I felt like they pulled a magic trick because I was definitely thinking I would have to wait an hour altogether. Kenny was very helpful and attentive. The manager (I forgot his name ) handled everything with ease. Then Richard replaced my tire and it rides like new. Thank you so much Mavis team!!! I truly thought this was going to be a nightmare but I am definitely going to recommend your service to friends and family.

Decided to try Mavis after I couldnt get a appointment at the dealer. I was able to conveniently book my service appointment online. Bernard was very helpful in explaining the services that were provided as well as recommendations for next time I visit. Waited as long as I would wait at the dealership for service and a discount was provided!

Unlike other shops that just say you need something Marc showed me the tire wear and recommended the best tires for my bmw’s rims. I stopped by to check prices for an oil change, not only did i get the oil change I ended up getting new tires. Kenny who works in the front was great, he answered all my questions and was very attentive. I did not get the name of the employee who serviced my car, but he did a great job as well. The employees there were incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly. I had bent my tire rods during a huge snow storm. The parts I needed were not far away, but no drivers were available. Mark, an employee of Mavis, took it upon himself to drive to the shop where my parts were, in the middle of the snow storm, to get them to mavis so my car could be fixed that day. Incredibly grateful and appreciative of Mark and the staff for going above and beyond during a day that they probably should have been safely at home.

Rough day outside, snowing rough and had a tire issue. Gave my car in at 3PM in. Rush and the great gentleman Robert was great!! Made sure my car would be ready before I had to leave work up the block!!! Explained and called me twice to let me know what was wrong with the vehicle and kept me posted. I made my reservation 06/29/21 to buy 4 good year tires for my 2018 Honda CR-V, when I arrived at the store, the store manager told me that there were only 2 tires of the model that I chose, I do not understand why they did not contact me to tell me that there were no 4 tires, unacceptable, I would not recommend Mavis to anyone, the service is not professional and the customer is not respected.

Dropped off my car for an appointment to change 2 tires. Was told it would be an hour and a half. I called at two hours and was informed my car would be ready in 35 minutes. Waited the 35 minutes and walked there. Walk took me 15 minutes. I got there to pick up my car after almost 3 hours and found that the work hadn’t even been started on my car. Complete waste of time. Seems like the workers in the shop were more concerned with having a good time than working on cars. I got my keys back and found another place for my tires. It’s too bad, hyper convenient to my house but service is terrible. What’s even the point of scheduling an appointment if you can’t get the service? Avoid their BS all together and don’t go.

Ask for Ryan, he will literally help you out and be clear on what’s wrong with your car. I never trusted another car shop like that but the guys over at Mavis in Bayonne NJ definitely make you feel like it’s their car they are fixing themselves.

Went to get my tire plugged on sunday and Marc got me in and out quickly and professionally!! All the employees i spoke to were all friendly and greeted me with a smile!! Will totally recommend these guys to anyone looking for tires and friendly service! Thanks guys!!!
