They arent friendly at all. One girl didnt really want to help when I asked about Flower bomb. Will try again another day and hoping they do better!

Two workers no interest to help me I’m sorry I don’t want to play the race card !! But I didn’t even get ask if I needed help there conversation was more important than my needs I guess. I felt really bad when I left the store. Putting this info out there so it won’t happen to another customer!!

The customer service is fantastic.

The manager aurora or however you spell your name was terribly rude to my mother and I. I was order from sephors on instacart a lot and I bought a foundation that I received the wrong color and all I wanted was to make an exchange I even showed her my receipt from instacart, you are suppose to exchange no problem. Instead she gave me a hard time for over 20minited saying she wouldnt know how to do that for me in my receipt doesnt have a barcode... I said I have done this one other time and never had an issue and it wasnt a manager that helped me last time... so I knew In my head it meant she just didnt want to help me. Then she almost gave me a worse time when she claimed she can push it through but she needs my id... I said thats not a problem for me at all im not worried since I didnt everything right. Then she wouldnt look up the price to tell me my exchange credit she had me sit for another 5 minutes at the counter for myself to look it up myself. Then I simply asked if my mom can get her birthday gift and another lady was starting to process it for her and the manager came over and stopped her and said not unless its within 30 days... then when we did the exchange we caught her staring and talking about us on our way out... talk about the worst customer service... Ill stick to ulta thanks

Its a small store but decently stocked. Thus far, I have had positive experiences with the staff. They are knowledgeable and offer themselves up for questions regularly.

Some of the things that you see online will not be at the store but its nice

Love this store because the help is so knowledgeable in every aspect of skin care. They are experts that offer makeovers, make up and product application for customers of all ages. The store is always well stocked, clean and well staffed. A great choice for teens through seniors!

I was extremely impressed by the helpfulness by Tara D. She went out of her way to show me products that could accentuate my beauty even at an older age.. I havent seen her since June but she offered Exceptional service, And there was a sales girl by the name of Tina.. Who also went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and to help me find what I needed. Thank you Tara for your kindness and all of your expertise

The staff is so great in this location. I feel like they are always willing to help you get what you need no matter what time you come in. (I came in a little late because I was rushing from work.) I always come here for that reason specifically that they don’t try to rush you, they just want to help you. Maggie was super super amazing and knew her stuff!!! 😃

Heads up, if you exchange a product, and you go back to return the new product, you cannot get a refund, only store credit. I was told that’s how their system processes it.Update: Called customer service and they said that they only handle products purchased online, not in store.When I purchased the foundation I was told that there were no more testers available, and if it doesn’t work out for me I can always return it. What a disappointment.

The staff here are a bit rude. I wasnt impressed at how it took almost twenty minutes just to receive any help. You would think the store was packed but it was just one other person besides myself. Smh they need better customer service skills.

I normally shop at a sephora closer to me but figured I would give the bayshore location a shot. Actually 2 shots. The staff are mildly knowledgable about their products and Im being generous by say mildly. They also seem indifferent to making a sale. I went in ready to purchase a number of items and was so turned off by their lack of enthusiasm to make my shopping experience enjoyable. I asked one of the staff to show me how to use a make up product (she happened to be a make up artist) and she seemed less then interested (the store was empty). She said she had to check with one of her staff first. I was ready to walk out at that minute. I ended up buying less then I planned and went down a few stores to Ulta where I had a similar experience. Bayshore mall overall is trash. Id probably have been better off driving out of my way to Huntington.

The girls here are wonderful!! They truly want to help bring out the beauty in every person they help. They take the time to make sure you know how to use the products properly and give you samples of anything you arent sure of.

I love my Sephora and the girls working in there! Ingrid is a little, tiny Angel. All of the girls are Darling! Erin, Lill, Marie, Kit and the others are all very helpful. VERY HELPFUL. Always smiling and laughing and they know about their products! Ingrid advised me about a few things and is always right. She recommends a Gripping Primer and Ive been using it for about 4 months now. Ok then, enjoy your visit to SEPHORA!

Ruth was the best.

They made me ORANGE!Even with their skin IQ machine to measure the girl made me completely orange. I paid a bunch of money for the products so I could get a full face for an event and she made me ORANGE! I repeatedly expressed my concern throughout the time. I was more than upset when I left and I will NEVER go back not even to return the monstrous orange color that a I spent almost $70 dollars for. I had to go to a department store where I was lucky one of the counter girls saw me hiding behind my scarf and helped me remove the mess. On top of that I need light to medium coverage she insisted on full coverage (I have even skin tone, no scarring, acne, pimples, or dark undertones, Il super pale too) At the end I looked like someone took a cake and filled it with orange spray tan.

Sephora is employees are rude! They try and rush a sale and are not kind or really interested in helping at all. Also they follow you around the store. At least was my experience at the Sephora at the Westfield Mall in Bayshore, L.I., New York.

Went there about two weeks ago and got my foundation iq test done. I believe the girl who did it was named Niki..If Im wrong lmk but you did a great job!! Loved how helpful you were.she was so knowledged on makeup and the differences with how the ingredients in the primers will cause the foundation not to work correctly. I was just so pleased

Denise that works in this location is absolutely unkind. I called regarding a question on a purchase I had made. She was so rude. She was basically screaming through the phone. I explained to her I didn’t have my receipt and the 1st thing Denise did was brush me off and rushed me off the phone. I love Sephora and always have but I have never delt with an employee that was so rude to me. She shouldn’t be there if she can’t help customers with their questions they have. I’m done going to this location. PLEASE LADIES GO TO A DIFFERENT LOCATION. Sephora should be considerate with who they hire, especially if we are hard working people supporting this company. The worst experience at any Sephora I had called.

Rude management. Worst service

I wish i could give this place no stars. The same 2 staff members literally asked me if i needed help an obnoxious amount of times as if they were wanting to rush me out or suspected me. I am a VIB which means i spend a ton at sephora yearly. There is no respecting employees that look at you and judge you. If you were being helpful then you would have left me alone after i stated the first time that i didnt need any help. It is just plain rude to pester. Next time i will be rude back because it happens every time i go and im always polite despite the pestering. Then the cashier gave me a nasty look when i asked for free samples while i just spent over a $100 which on the website you automatically get to choose 3 free samples so no reason for the stank face. I may actually even inform the corporate office on this as well.

They were all glaring at my friend and I thinking we were stealing. Had the security guard circling around us. Keep in mind I come in here almost twice a week and spend hundreds of dollars here. Extremely uncomfortable experience I wont be coming to this location anymore.
