Susan, the owner of this wonderful yarn shop, and her staff are just so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I went from knitting my first ever novice sweater with their guidance and encouragement to many numerous more difficult projects. Susan, Joyce and the staff get to know their customers and this helps us customers because they are always ready and willing yo answer any questions on yarn choices, what project would work good etc. Just a wonderful LYS with high quality yarns, needles and more. I so love their Facebook Live Kit projects too.

I have ordered from here twice now…I try not to miss the live sales, every week. I placed an order, this past Monday morning and had my order the very next morning, before noon. Now, if I just knew how to knit…

The staff here is knowledgeable and friendly. They can help with colors, and yarn choices and any knitting questions. The pop up sales, and the Sunday Face Book live events show new patterns and yarns. A great shop with lots of variety!

Always a bunch of beautiful patterns on the LIVE gigs .... something for every monetary /time budget and every skill level ... my favorite is their specialty Tall Ships yarns - I have 2016 and 2019 - cant wait for the next edition.

A Piece of Ewe became my yarn store 5 years ago. I took a class and gained a whole new group of friends. Susan and her staff are incredible; they are knowledge about techniques and yarn, they are patient, and funny. A Piece of Ewe is still my yarn shop even though I live 4 states away! I will describe something (poorly) to Susan, shell know what Im talking about, send pictures of available colors and the ship my purchase. If you go to no other yarn shop, make it A Piece of Ewe.

I love A Piece of Ewe. The parking is great with an easy in and out into the store from the parking lot, which is right near the door. The store has great lighting. Susan and the ladies are very helpful. Great place to visit! If there is something I want that she doesnt have she orders it for me. I live in Saginaw and dont think twice about driving to Bay City for my knitting needs.

I know Susan, the owner, through networking since 2017. She is a fun, smart, and talented small business owner. I cant wait to make my first visit to her shop to experience what she has to offer. Ive been told so many great things about A Piece of Ewe, how attentive the staff is with helping you with your project (my friends have told me all about it), as well as their wide selection of yarns. Friendly and knowledgeable, the folks who knit here are helpful and kind. They can help you find the right project, yarn and get you going on your next favorite finished garment or accessory. The instructors are fun and have a lot of experience in many types of knitting. You wont want to miss this shop.

Was looking for a skein to finish a project, they shipped me exactly what I needed and very quickly!

Arrived at nearly 11am on Saturday and no one was there. Google says 10am-1pm and their door says 10am-3pm.

Overall I enjoy going to the store. However often times I find but I am followed around by the owner and pressured into buying things I have nothing to do with the project I originally came in for. This wouldnt be so bad, except for the fact that Im clearly State what I dont want. The promotions are usually very good, however things are typically priced very high to begin with so Im not sure how much Im truly saving. Also the yarn also always moves, so thats really annoying. Additionally, I find that only two people are really able to help me. So if you are looking for someone able to help you with your project, make sure you are getting Bev or Sheryl. Otherwise you may want to go to a store with better organization and knitting experience. However, this store has a great selection of Noro and a decent selection of worsted - dk. If you are firm in what you want and dont necessarily need help, this store may fit your needs.

Staff is very helpful and selection of yarns is tremendous.
