Great place for all our beverage needs, especially Inis & Gunn, which we use for our St Patricks meal. The store also has a great selection of craft beers and liquor for any taste. However, you guys really need to get over the Do you have a Mask question. The country and area needs to move on over this!! If you want to wear one fine, if you dont,then dont feel it is your duty to ask a patron if they have something, they obviously dont require if it isnt already on their person.👍🏻

A great little liquor store located in Bay City Michigan. Great selection though definitely on the pricey side. Recommended for convenience and/or when youre looking for something special you just cant find at a Meijer or Kroger.

Their stores are always immaculate. As soon as you enter someone greets you and asks if they can be of service. Whatever type of adult beverage you are seeking will be found here.

A recent venture into Ideal resulted in a conversing about the craze of Crown Royal Peach with the owner and its upcoming limited release. The owner then asked if I tried the Jim Beam peach yet and it was a permanent flavor already. Why no, I hadnt. And so he offered a sampling right then and there from a bottle off the shelf. Smart move as people will start looking for the Crown besides me. But I find the Jim Beam one delicious and will be happy not to struggle making a purchase.Amazing customer interaction. The man has a gift! He easily won me over as a customer.

I have known the family who owns and runs this business all my life. Great people and great service.

Went into ideal about a month ago to return some cans that had been taking up space under the sink. There was literally 3-4$ in cans that I had. The younger male store attendant rushed us at the door and demand that we take the three or four cans we put back out so he could count them. Needless to say I did nothing of that sort, you can keep them bud if its that serious. The kicker of this story is really how disrespectful the store attendant was and how demanding in a threating, literally tried to intimidate my female friend and which was defiantly the line in the sand at that point. We got into a verbal argument with lots of course words. It definitely wasnt professional and its definitely not how I would expect anyone to be treated. The attendant went as far as following us half way to our car untill I turned around and asked him to stop following us because we had left the store and he really had to authority over us at that point. He said something cocky and I wasnt impressed one bit, I had had it. I started to approach him hoping that when I got close enough he would swing on me so I could get away with self defense. By no means am I a violent person but this kid crossed the line several times and I was livid. As Im walking up to him he reaches into his back waistband to obviously retrieve a pistol or some type of object I didnt want to test. At that point I called him crazy and told him hes really serious about that minimum wage. So in the end ideal ended up getting down on me for 40 cents which I care nothing about. The respect that I was treated with could have been comparable to 40 cents and thats being generous. Ive shopped at both ideal locations all my life and never have I ever been treated like that at ideal or anywhere else. Every ideal clerk has always been kind, helpful, with smiling faces and occasional laughs. Like I said this was about a month ago and Im still livid enough to take four minutes out of my day to gladly give you the one star reveiw that you more than earned. Thanks for stealing my 40 cents and trying to assault me over it. The no star option isnt available but you definitely more than earned that. You will never see a dime or dollar from me again, which I usually always try to shop local. Looks like liberty party store it is. Thanks for messing my entire day up.

Ideal is the best liquor store around! They are always getting in the newest craft beer, liquor, and wine. The owners are awesome people and the employees are great!
