I recently purchased some T-posts, several handy panels, and a cattle panel for my garden this year. Decently priced and a great one time investment for trellising my plants for years to come. No more cheap tomato cages! 😄They have friendly staff and helped me load my purchases into my minivan. I was happy to support a local business in the Urbandale neighboorhood and will shop there again.

They have great supplies for animals like chickens. We can always find what we are looking for and its always fun to play with and hold baby chickens and ducks!

Abusive, abysmal quality of care/health/keeping of the chickens and ducks at this location. I will not return until they stop selling live animals, especially in these conditions. Imagine if dogs or cats were being sold in these conditions, at .25 cents, for that matter. People would be protesting outside of the store. Our feathered friends deserve to be valued and cared for. Absolutely despicable.

Always have everything I go there to get. Regular sales on things I use regularly, so I can’t really complain! This is where you need to go when that diy project needs hardware or tools, and you don’t wanna go all the way to a box store. Staff is always ready and willing to assist! Get your butt in there!

Very disappointed, 99% of customers not wearing a mask. Our cashier wore one, but other cashier had his pulled down. Lady selling baked goods, no mask. Sign on door said wear mask. There is a pandemic going on. Shop is Menards

It seems like a local hardware store, with a good variety of things you may need for small projects. They also have work clothing which I found to be at a reasonable price. I normally go to the big box stores like Menards and Lowes, but this was a pleasant surprise, and they had what I needed.

The people that don’t want to work here are front-line employees. A cashier in an empty line saw me, made eye contact, hesitated for a minute and walked away. Like, “I need a break. You stand in the other line and wait for someone else to ring you up.” The sale that was advertised a week ago starts on a Tuesday and today’s Monday. Nothing was explained as I’m pointing to the sale price in the flier and the cashier had already pressed total. I’m upset. I said they’re supposed to be on sale. I just drove here because of the advertisement. She says the sale starts tomorrow. Still, I bought the products because waiting another day wasn’t worth my time. I just wanted a “sorry” and a “would you still like to purchase the products?” I would have. I go outside to try to load up the products I just purchased. They’re no where to be found. They look like they’re in on a pallet waiting to be put out tomorrow. I go back inside and get told to look again. I look again. Then I go to a manager. She’s about as friendly as a bug bite. We immediately get into it. Then she’s asking in the walkie talkie if there’s any more product outside. They look for a third time. Then I wait in line again for a refund. I’m literally at the end of the line waiting for a refund for products that were advertised in a national flyer, I was charged full price for, aren’t even inventoried, and then had a problem with THREE different employees. I left apologizing I was their customer. I’ll never go back. You’re welcome.

Today I purchased a gas log splitter. The splitter is awesome and will be great addition to my yard equipment. I have been looking for a few days and this splitter was what I was looking for.

Always a great place to go when you need feed or supplies

They have everything there. The customer service is really good. I bought a new rider lawnmower from them and in a couple of days the tire went flat sitting in my garage so I go talk to them and let them know about the tire, they had me bring it in and they gave me a new 1 free of charge. Now thats customer service. Would recommend them to everyone.

One of my favorite places so it really irrates me when they dont have things that literally every house has, like 1/2 inch plumbing parts. Lawn tractor tube size thats pretty common, nope. Every time I go there theres a line for register and three other employees walking around. With better management this store could be great.

Went to get grass seed in the middle of November which is way out of season. Staff assisted me to the selection they had available quickly. Upon realizing that they did not have the shelves stocked with all of the grass seed that they carry they went out of there way to bring out every available option so that I was able to purchase exactly what I was looking for. Thank you for going above and beyond without even being asked too. Service with a smile from every employee that I have encountered and they have always been eager to help me.

3 out of the 5 items I was looking at werent priced anywhere, and quite a few empty shelf pegs. In fairness, they, like many stores, have a Help Wanted sign up. They MAY be trying to correct the issues mentioned. Pet friendly store!

Lots of great items. Better selection that Tractor Supply. Usually always have product in stock and on the shelves. Process are better than TSC, too.

Just your average store. Nothing special. Cashier was pleasant and friendly but until we got there there was no employee interaction. Prices are average but selection, like other similar stores, seem to be shrinking. A local woman was having a bake sale, which was nice, but the peach pie we bought had a crust that was undone.

We LOVE our local Farm and Home. Nate, Danny, Erica, Pam, Kelly, Mavis, KImmy, Becky, Todd....just everyone there is friendly, helpful, and kind. My husband and I have built our entire farm from this store and are in there multiple times a day! From feed to hardware, its always the first place we go. And they are happy to help even if they dont have what you need. Thanks guys! Emily and Frank love ya!

There place is clean and their people are helpful all and all a great place to stop to buy feed and supplys.However I would stay away from purchasing rabbits from this facility as they buy baby bunnies from breeders that neglects the parents and inbreeds them. Was sold two sick bunnies labs confirmed inbreeding and malnourished.

I love to take my dog with me. She had a great time meeting people. She always gets a toy.
