Im going to miss this place. Because of Sears, I could actually have some Levis jeans when I was in middle school. It was the only charge card my mother had & she didnt buy name brand unless it was in Sears & with her Sears charge card.

I went to the store because it is going out of business to see if there was a good deal on a refrigerator. After looking at many of them, I saw that they were still very expensive in other words over priced for a store closing. I purchased a mattress that was listed for about $2000 for $600. Supposedly marked down 70 percent. I dont believe it was ever selling for $2000 but probably about $1000 or less. Customer service was quick and helpful. This is the last Sears store in our area. I hate to see it close.

Took me 5 months to get my delivery. I know, were in a pandemic so I can be more understanding. That being said, being in a pandemic, the delivery folks enter your house with no mask on. I dont feel like this is acceptable practice. My husband is high risk and Id like to be able to feel safe that any service men from any company will protect the people in the homes they are entering. Sadly Sears is not the first service that Ive received in the last 6 months to do this. If you want customers you have to protect them.

Great deals going on right now. The thing that made this visit uncomfortable was when the cashier asked for my phone number and I said no. She appeared to get mad as if me not giving my number to her was an insult. She started banging around stuff and became short in her language towards me. Sad customer service.

Sears at Mall of Louisiana in Baton Rouge Louisiana is not the best. You have 2 employees working on Monday June 29th at 5:35 pm.The employee is an older Indian gentleman who can barely work the register. It took me good 8 to 12 minutes to make a payment. Not the best service. Will not return to sears store again.Not sure if the company is even trying to provide any services or just waiting to file Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. This is very sad. Im not sure if anyone is going to read this and get back to me. We will see.Actually i could not even enter my name and phone numbers.

I hate how they want you to sign up for rewards points and things of that nature, but you cant use them when you pay for your merchandise & when I wanted they to check for me, they said I had 0 points which was a lie. Theyll do anything to make money, making you spend more than intended. Give out the discounts already.

PLEASE READ BEFORE MAKING PURCHASE FROM SEARS. ZERO STARS-WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & EMPLOYEES EVER. PURCHASED KENMORE ELITE REFRIGERATOR FROM SEARS(BLUEBONNET) LESS THAT 1 1/2 YEARS AGO. I GET IT, STUFF HAPPENS-NOT UPSET AT THE SITUATION UPSET WITH SEARS CUSTOMER SERVICE. SEARS THINKS IT IS REASONABLE TO WAIT 8 DAYS JUST TO HAVE SOMEONE DIAGNOSE PROBLEM THEN ANOTHER 3 WEEKS TO HAVE IT REPAIRED. HAD AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR TECH MAKE A DIAGNOSIS. WAS TOLD THAT IT NEEDED COMPRESSOR AND DRIER. SEARS SAID COMPRESSOR WAS UNDER WARRANTY BUT NOT LABOR OR DRIER. ASKED SEARS REPAIR DEPARTMENT IF THEY WOULD HAVE THE PARTS ON THE REPAIR TRUCK IF IN FACT THAT WAS THE PROBLEM-WAS TOLD YES THEY WOULD IF PARTS WERE IN STOCK-AFTER CONFIRMING PARTS WERE IN STOCK(I HAD TO CALL, REPAIR DEPT COULD NOT) AND CALLING THE REPAIR DEPT BACK THEY SAID NO. I ASKED AT EVERY PHONE CALL TO BE SENT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND IN ALL 5 CALLS NO ONE WOULD TRANSFER ME. ON TOP OF THAT GREG, LANCE & FAYE IN THE REPAIR DEPT WERE SOME OF THE RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. NEVER WITHIN THE 5 PHONE CALLS OR WHEN WE PURCHASED THE APPLIANCE (ALONG WITH ALL APPLIANCES WE REPLACED & PURCHASED FROM SEARS) WERE WE TOLD THAT IF SOMEONE OTHER THAN A SEARS TECH LOOKED AT OUR APPLIANCE THAT IT WOULD VOID OUR WARRANTY. SERVICE TECH TRIMANI R. BARELY HAD THE BACK COVER OF THE REFRIGERATOR OFF BEFORE HE TOLD US OUR 10 YEAR WARRANTY WAS VOIDED. ALL BECAUSE SOMEONE ELSE DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM-THEY DIDNT EVEN REPAIR ANYTHING. HE RECOVERED ALL OF OUR FREON EVEN THOUGH THE REFRIGERATOR WAS NOT LEAKING-WHY COULDNT THAT WAIT UNTIL THE REPAIR WAS DONE? I FEEL LIKE HE DID IT FOR SPITE, HE WAS ANGRY SOMEONE ELSE HAD BEEN OUT. EVERY TIME I ASKED A QUESTION HE WOULD NEVER GIVE A STRAIGHT ANSWER WOULD ONLY RAISE HIS VOICE AT ME. ONCE WE AGREED TO HAVE THE REFRIGERATOR REPAIRED (HE ALSO QUOTED PARTS AND SERVICE HIGHER-NO MUCH BUT HIGHER THAN THE REPAIR DEPARTMENT HAD ALREADY QUOTED). HE SAID THAT WE NEEDED TO PAY FOR THE WHOLE REPAIR BEFORE HE WOULD ORDER THE PARTS. I UNDERSTAND HOW CUSTOMER SERVICE WORKS, I AM IN THE SAME INDUSTRY, BUT I HAVE NEVER DEALT WITH SUCH COMBATIVE PEOPLE EVER. IT IS LIKE THEY TAKE PRIDE IN NOT HELPING THE CUSTOMER. Ive tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt but they continue to disappoint. Not one of the employees here not even the store manager acknowledged me with a hello or any kind of greeting in the store but yet they were all standing around in their groups talking to each other. I remember trying to apply to work here. Had two interviews and no word back. I can tell you one thing I would not want to work for people that cant even bother saying hello.

Ordered a mattress, box spring, and bed frame. Was supposed to be delivered on Saturday. Called to check the delivery status and they couldn’t even find the order in their system! After talking to multiple people who basically said “I don’t know” when asked how this is possible and what can be done, I went to the store. My boyfriend was sleeping on the ground and they said there would most likely be no discount. Not even mentioning how the cashier (who did not work in that department) failed to put a delivery date, which meant it would never be delivered. This place is a complete and utter joke!! It is hard to even find a worker to help with getting anything and there is never an actual employee that works in the mattress department there!! Moral of my experience, DO NOT ORDER ANY TYPE OF MATTRESS, BIX SPRING, OR BED FRAME FROM THIS PLACE! Awful awful experience!!

Pitiful. Costumer service was atrocious. I am standing at the register waiting to check out. An employee walks right by me and says nothing. She continues well beyond the registers where I get her attention. I then explain I need to check out and she turns back around and continues on her way. Another employee comes out the back and gets the women who walked right by me to check me out.

I have always liked to Sears. I have bought numerous lawn mowers from them over the years. My last lawn mower was again purchased at Sears about a year-and-a-half ago. The mower runs fine I dont have any problems with it. I love the tools. They have a lifetime warranty. I hate to see the company have problems like they have but I do support Sears as best I can.

Theyll sell you a lawn mower, Craftsman brand. Ive always heard great things about getting help with the Craftsman tools, etc. If you call the 800-Craftsman number, theyll tell you to bring your lawn mower in and pay for help. They will NOT provide ANY sort of troubleshooting or technical support over the phone. I even purchased the extended warranty, which expired after a few years.

I have an OLD (60+ years) Sears Kenmore sewing machine I was trying to get fixed. I called 6 different numbers and got transferred to EXACTLY the same pre-recorded message each time. I never actually spoke to a person, never got to make the arrangements to get it fixed, and was asked to provide my phone number each time. Why? If Im calling a specific store, one would assume that Im calling one near me to make the inquiries. I suppose Ill go to an OUTSIDE repair shop to have my SEARS sewing machine repaired. And I certainly wont be buying another one from Sears!!!

After not shopping Sears for years, theyve completely turned things around. They have aggressive promotions through Shop Your Way and aggressive sales and clearances to pair them with. Better yet, the new store pickup experience is the best of its type that Ive come across. At the Mall of Louisiana location, the pickup parking is conveniently on the side and has never been crowded. You can either load up the app and have them bring it out with a 5 min guarantee or enter the store and use the kiosk that is located immediately as you enter. Their customer service has also been top notch. Never would have thought I would be singing the praises of Sears in 2018 but here we are.

Its still a decent place for good prices. The escalator doesnt work anymore but hey youre still has what you need. There is still alot of fashion for the older crowd and for those who need nice clothes for work and bisness. Friendly service as always and they actually have a restroom. Good place to park as well if you are new to the mall. Its the easiest store and exit to find.

So I tried to go to the notary. Supposed to open at 10:00 am week days.I waited 40 minutes after 10 before attempting to find a store manager. When I told the store manager she seemed completely unconcerned that her employee was nearly an hour late.This is poor management at its finest. She didnt attempt to contact her notary or anything. As far as Im concerned, 40 minutes late to work means youre fired.

Very difficult to find a sales person to get assistance every time I go in here. Also, tried to get a refund for a pool table that I bought and was never delivered to me. Management did not put any effort into solving my problem. Still never got my money for it and corporate just kept on giving me the run around. Horrible customer service. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Not bad to buy things that are cheap (price you do not care). However, very very bad if you buy their extended warranty (in shop protection agreement).I purchased a lawn mower from their Baton Rouge store and chose to get extended warranty they offer. When I found the mower is not working, I took it to the store (4/18/2019) to get it repaired. That was within the warranty period. The store does not have any repair center and do not have similar type of lawn mower, they told me that someone from protection aggreement will contact me within 24hours. No one contacted me ever. In between I called protection department, visit Sears 4 additional times during next 7-8 weeks but all went fruitless. To get them on phone takes more than 20 minutes on average, transferred to different section Everytime, then get disconnected. That is waste of money and energy. In many cases customers get tiered, and give up. That is way to make money. My recommendation is to avoid their extended warranty.

I have tried to reach anyone at Sears Mall of Louisiana for over an hour. No one answers. The phone hangs up after a number of calls. Finally a message came on that said Sears Mall of Louisiana is not available. I needed to return a damaged item for my 3 year old granddaughter before I return to Austin on Saturday. I bought all Kenmore Appliances from Searsi in early 2017 after being flooded in Denham Springs. After the 1 year mark, the ice maker went out (still doesnt work) and now the dishwasher wont drain. Called customer service and they say sorry its not under warranty but you can pay us $89.00 to come out to diagnose the problem. Now, I understand things cant be under warranty forever, but major appliances really should last longer than a year. I will never buy appliances from Sears or Kenmore. So sad that companies dont back their products anymore, and to think you pay $1000.00 for a dishwasher and when it stops draining for no fault of the user (no clogs and filters are clean) you have to pay for their technician to come out and then pay for parts and labor. So if there is a manufacturers defect that doesnt show up until 13 months, you just have to deal with it..... SEARS... this may be why you have to file bankruptcy.
