This place is great. It’s very close to the place where you charge your Tesla vehicle. Since charging takes 15 to 20 minutes, you might not have a lot of time to eat here if you plan to eat here then you might have to unplug your Tesla earlier. This is a restaurant where you sit down, and take your time and enjoy life. You can see that the food I ordered was absolutely spectacular. I met a fabulous friend here, from Baton Rouge. Johnna Crider was a friend of the owner, and somehow they arranged to offer us free ice cream. But I would’ve paid for it anyway. Gelato here is GREAT!!I just can’t get over how friendly the people were here, how clean and comfortable the restaurant was, and how delicious the food tasted.Hope to be back soon. We just stopped by La Divina to eat while we charged our Tesla. We were SO pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything tasted! We had the meat-eater pizza, Caesar Salad wrap and sorbet Mimosa. Everything was made so fast and we now have our new favorite Tesla charging stop.

I’m so sad to write this because the food is pretty good, but I have never experienced worse customer service in my life. I always tip after a meal, especially if the service is good, but when I didn’t tip up front, the cashier did not hesitate to comment on me and my party’s tips. When we told another worker what had happened, she was also disrespectful because we had not tipped yet. Not how you treat customers, and just people in general. I do not think I will be coming back I have never felt so unwelcome/ uncomfortable We were genuinely concerned for the food safety after the way we were treated. Do better guys! :(

Honestly one if the BEST resteraunts. I called to make birthday reservations and it was an EXTRORDINARY experience! From having balloons at the table to having custom place mats celebrating my birthday and even a birthday ribbon I could not have asked for better. The owner Mary even got in contact with me to plan the event. This was an absolutely extrodinary event with live music. This is my new favorite locally owned resteraunt in Baton Rouge!

If you’re anything like me, this is the type of place that, unfortunately, makes you feel like you just wasted money. The paninis were made with no love, not much taste in them, so bland… I definitely left feeling I would have been better off making a sandwich at home.I’m giving it 2 stars and not 1 because I know they have gelato and they host live music sometimes too so that may be an alright experience. I’ll update if I ever check it out as that’s the only reason I’d ever go back for…I’ll definitely stay away from the food.

Quaint little restaurant! We were greeted as soon as we walked in with smiling faces. Our breakfast food was definitely satisfying with great portions. Unfortunately its 30° F outside, so well have to come back and try the gelato, when it warms up.

Enjoyed our visit to La Divina in Baton Rouge. Friendly and delicious. I really commend them for their great customer service and honesty. Accidentally left a phone there and they found it and returned it to us. In this day and age, it is so refreshing to see hospitality, kindness & integrity still exist. Thank you all!!

It is not a surprise to me that is place was empty when I came in today. The service that we experienced was truly unacceptable when the workers outwardly expressed how displeased they were with the tip they received. Then when we asked for our food togo since we did not feel welcome and they were being very rude and outwardly disrespectful towards us. When we received our togo order everything was just thrown in the bag without any care and half the sandwiches were half unwrapped. Tips are rewarded for good service, and the service that we received here was the complete opposite. Although the food is good, this experience was horrible and I will never go here again.

Always a great place to have coffee, do business and just socialize. The coffee is always great fresh and the service has always been great!

So, I was trying to explain what I wanted and the guy was not paicient about what I wanted. Making faces and all about it. He wanted to take the order so quickly that even spill my coffee when given to me. Coffee may be not bad but quality service is as good as the produce quality.

UPDATE;The staff reached out to me to offer a gift card to come back and try their cafe again. My boyfriend and I both enjoyed our meals. I was overly impressed with their attention to detail and service to reach out and make things right. Thank you La Divina!I was extremely disappointed when I received my meal because of the quality. The meatballs were dry and there was a strange taste to the entire dish. Not to mention the bread that came with it tasted like a burnt grill. I didnt even finish half before throwing it out.

Lovely little cafe. We had the Piazza Panini, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Meatball Panini all delicious. Of course we each had several flavors of Gelato! Great place for friends and family or a private area gor those needing to get some work done. 🙂

I must say the French Onion soup was way way way too salty. Also seemed to have Italian seasoning, in a French dish. Food prepared well and quickly. Menu limited but accepted modifications...next time I will order differently. Most customers more interested in ice cream.

We got lucky and found this place because of a long wait at a nearby restaurant. The coffee is excellent! The gelato is excellent! The staff is cool and helpful! The food is awesome!!! Great place for a tired road tripping family.We were refreshed and back on the road and happy we found this place. Stop here, it’s AWESOME!

Staff was EXTREMELY disrespectful. One of the most embarrassing things I have ever seen in my entire life.

Stumbled upon this darling restaurant Friday night. Going to trader Joes and heard music. There were people sitting out on the sidewalk in front of La Divina listening to locals singing open mike night. We walked over and wound up spending a very pleasant evening with some great people. The wine was delicious and we will definitely be back to try the food. It smelled and looked amazing.

LaDivina is my absolute favorite place to go!! I love listening to the live local music and seeing the local artwork on the walls. The salads are always super fresh with homemade salad dressing. The owners and employees are always friendly and helpful. Thank you Lance and Mary for providing such a wonderful place to go in Baton Rouge!

What a really cool cafe, I had the roast beef panini sandwich with gorgonzola cheese, it was delicious, soft jazz playing in the background, helpful pleasant staff and an outside area. Too bad it had rained earlier. Specialty teas and coffee drinks and to top it off, scrupulous gelato was hard to pass up. My daughter and me found a great new hangout and we will definitely be back to catch the live music on the weekends.

Found a new gem! This place was awesome! The food was delicious and very fresh! All made from scratch and you can tell the difference! Customer service was 5 star and the gelato is to die for, with a ton of fantastic flavors! Definitely worth checking out! We will be back! Baton rouge needs more places like this!!!

I had the piazza panini and coconut almond gelato and they were delicious. The owner was very friendly.

The bread was perfectly toasted, the veggies were thinly sliced -- great sandwich. Yes, I couldve made this sandwich myself but I doubt it would be as good as theirs! Im not a vegetarian, but I think I prefer all the vegetarian options here over the meat options! Thats all I get (and the gelato, naturally) when I go here!

Great little Italian cafe and gelato stand. Very unique and delicious varieties. Plus theyre open on Sunday, making it a perfect stop after a walk around the lakes.

The meal was average. Its hard to find good italian food in the south but they came pretty close.

Good gelato varieties. We tried Franco panini that is good enough, mushroom panini with marinara sauce was bit bland. There is more selection for meat eaters.

The lasagna is to die for, and portion is generous! Enjoyed live music, too.

Best spot for coffee and delicious food and local musicians, esp during these crazy times. The new chocolate rosemerry scone is the best thing ever.

I love this little cafe. They have delicious espresso, excellent Italian ice cream (gelato) and a cozy atmosphere.The seating and ambiance are ok, this is the area I would recommend some improvements. It feels like a cafe AND a restaurant and I don’t like those hybrids as much to sit and enjoy my time in. I would recommend a little “softening” of the place, possibly with a couple couches or comfy chairs and less tables.They do host several fun events that involve samples of their excellent menu and wine! It’s ultimately a great spot for coffee or gelato. That’s what I highly recommend here.

My wife and I came in specifically for gelato. It was excellent. She could not quit commenting on the size and quantity of the nuts in her Pistachio gelato. Needless to say, she did not offer me any... シI ordered the Creme Brulee gelato, I cant compare it to any other creme brulee gelato, however it was as good as I would expect of a fine creme brulee.Bottom line, it doesnt matter what you choose, La Divina makes awesome gelato!(Sorry there are no pictures, we didnt think about photos, we were shoving it in our mouths too fast)

The only reason I do not work for them still is no fault of theirs and in fact my own fault. The food is fantastic...fresh... and they are unique and creative. They also support the locals. Loved the sandwiches.. monteleone w mushrooms is my favorite and my wife really likes the Bianca! The thing that sets this place apart is the knowledgeable and super friendly staff. They really make you feel special every visit!

This place is so fantastic. Food is awesome, service is fast and friendly, atmosphere is super cute.

This is my go-to place for a late lunch and quiet place to work. The lighting is nice since its not directly over the tables and highlights local art displayed on the wall. The Mercato salad is always a tasty choice, with mixed greens, cucumber, tomato, purple onion, sunflower seeds and a yummy, home-made balsamic vinaigrette. I usually add grilled chicken, and I really like that some of the veggies, such as the onion and red peppers, come a little warm on top. The cafe gets busy in waves like most places, but I can usually grab a booth in the back, with a plug-in nearby and free wi-fi. It gets 4 stars rather than 5 because of poor ventilation. When they are grilling, it definitely gets hazy inside.

Terrific breakfast and the cappuccino was delicious. Appreciated the ability to eat with our pugs while traveling.

Fantastic panini...!! Amazing staff, delicious homemade limoncello! Wow, what a treat!! We had the Formaggio panino, and the Franco panino.. we forgot yo add the prosciutto, but they were both incredible without it.. theyre prepared as if theyre made for themselves - lots of love!! Its a shame for us that we live 45 mins away, and this gem of a place is not around us, but were sure to come back every chance well get.. the gentleman that was having breakfast had what seemed to be a traditional American breakfast, and it also looked great! Friendly little cafe with a nice selection of light food, easy spirits and yummy gelato. The staff members were met were super friendly!We showed up for a Friday night where there was a lineup of local musician who seemed like a happy extended family. A delightful way to spend an evening!

The gelato was delicious. The helpful waiter suggested his favorite flavors and gave us samples. The fig & marscapone, cannoli and cappuccino flavors were exceptional. We will be back for more.

Wow wow wow. This was my third time in and I decided to order food for the first time. I got the Bianca. It was huge I was expecting something smaller for the price. The bread used seemed to be house made and was so light and fluffy. The other ingredients grilled chicken and thinly sliced onions married very well.I saved half for later. I will definetly be returning!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I come frequently for breakfast. Italian grits are where its at! Lunch is spectacular too. The coffee always does the trick and the gelato is just like it is in Italy! So glad this place is here.

I had the stuffed portobello. It was really good. Their gelatos are yummy too! Latte is a bit over priced but overall, the place and people are really nice!

Wife and I went last Thursday. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. My wife had one of the paninis (piazza?).Staff was nice and friendly.The meatballs had no filler and were overcooked, so they were like rocks. The sauce was ok.My wife said it was the best sandwich she had ever put in her mouth.If it hadn’t been for her, I’d never go back just because of the meatballs, but because she raved about the panini, I’ll have to give it another shot.Do NOT get the spaghetti and meatballs.

The fresh peach Gelato was good. I had the Piazza panini and hybiscus tea. Both were good. Dixie was very helpful and nice to talk with.They had live music starting at 6pm Thursday night. The couple were a great duet.

This establishment doesnt seem to know what culinary words mean. The polenta was a very watery, thick-grain gruel. The jam was chopped apples. Plus, there was not enough staff to handle the house. They ran out of coffee and never returned with another cup. My eggs were fine, and thats about the only positive thing I have to say. Its a typical example of the mediocrity that passes for good restaurants in Baton Rouge.

I love this place good food and they people there are amazing. Also they have great rotating gelato flavors and drink their drink options are pretty decent as well.

One of the hidden gems in Baton Rouge! This cute italian cafe is my go to when I want to have a long conversational lunch. Their espresso is really good, you cant go wrong with their sandwiches (try the Bianca, trust me), the caprese salad is so good (I had it two days in a row, I never go back to a place back to back like that). Their service is great, my friends swear by its gelato (their blueberry coffee cake looked amazing!). Most recently Ive discovered that they have a mini shopping station in which you can get cute things like handmade soap, both me and my friend ended up with a bar, and we felt good for supporting local businesses. Definitely recommend.

As Im sure people have mentioned they have a large selection of gelato, including seasonal flavorings. My daughter really likes the birthday cake gelato flavor, and I dont blame here. Its incredible and oh so creamy. The service is great and everyone is friendly.We had the pizza, mac and Cheese and a salad for lunch. The pizza crust looks homemade with fresh herbs in it. Its thinner then most with not much of a rise. Giving it a nice crunch when you bite, but its also a bit dry.The Mac and cheese wasnt that good. It was just missing something, even after adding salt and pepper. I got more cheese sauce then noodles and the sause was a tad grainy. Salad was beautiful with fresh baby greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and a sprinkle of Parm. They make their dressing in house and are perfect.

My daughters and i were looking on Google for Gelato and La Divina came up. The reviews looked great so we stopped in. The Gelato was the Best Ive ever tasted. I would drive 100 miles for another cup. We will be back soon for more Gelato and the Great Customer Service. Thank you La Divina.

We ordered a pizza and 2 cups of the Mac and cheese... They dont have fountain drinks we where given the 20oz coke bottle, so no refills.. Anyways the food was nasty, we each too a bite of the mac and couple of bite of the pizza and so we wasted our money and went somewhere else.
