Negative stars - Micah and Brian, the two managers, using that term very loosely, are the most unhelpful, inconsiderate, and rudest people I have ever encountered! When I called the store to inquire about a hot tub and spoke to Brian a couple months ago he seemed helpful. I went in later that same day and did not even get acknowledged upon entering the store. I waited around for a couple minutes before finally asking someone to speak to Brian. It was like pulling teeth to get information out of him regarding the hot tubs, as if he really didnt care to sell any or not. I finally got information I needed and passed it along to my boyfriend. He took over trying to call and communicate w/ Micah, whom of which would never return phone calls, hed say hed call back and never would. We wanted status on the hot tub, it kept getting delayed. We understand that, but just communicate w/ us and call us back when you say you will. My bf spoke to both Brian and Micah on several occasions and they got rude w/ him. That is NOT how you conduct business; extremely poor customer service! So my bf asked for a full refund and they didnt have an issue doing so. I guess the store doesnt need to make money for these boys to keep a job!
I recently took down and reinstalled a Used Pool for Joni Tullier of Plaquemine.Mrs. Tullier bought a Used Pool sight unseen and with only a partial picture of the pool.Mrs. Tullier has accused Splash Pools of everything that she can think of because of me Installing her Pool.I would like to clarify exactly what happened with her.The Pool was not a complete Pool and she states that I have taken things that belong to her. At NO TIME have I kept anything that belongs to Mrs. Tullier and the Woman who she bought it from has told her that she sent everything that she agreed to with me on the day we took down the pool. This Woman has lied to Mrs. Tullier from the start and continues to lie to her about the pool.Mrs. Tullier refuses to believe that someone would lie to her and yet she continues to disparage my name and Splash Pools and Spas. I have tried to appease her but nothing I do matters to her because she has to blame someone other than herself for the mistake she made in buying a Used Pool sight unseen.Splash is a excellent place to work and shop for pools and supplies.Thank YouGlenn Wall
Zero stars! This will be long but please read if you are thinking about purchasing from them. We went in on June 7 to see what’s available. After some research they definitely had the better prices. So we decided to order. Micah got very excited because they supposedly had the pool in stock and told us we could possibly get it that Friday. We (me and my 2 kids) were so excited that we may have a pool in a week! So we started getting the yard ready and decided to sell our easy set pool. First call was that Friday to check, part of the pool wasn’t in. Since then I have called almost daily for a month to check, there was a new excuse every time I called. This past week I called every day and left a message for Micah. He did not call me back at all. Finally on that Friday he answered the phone. I asked why was he trying to avoid me and he claimed he did not receive any messages. So he said he would have to check his notes and call me back. I said are you really going to call back and he promised he would. It is now Monday and still nothing. I called and spoke to Brian (who I left most of the messages with) and he apologized and promised to call back with a status. Tuesday and no call. I finally went in Wednesday to get a refund. They processed the refund no problem, didn’t care to make things right. I understand things happen and you may not receive things as planned but have the decency to not lie and call customers back! One of the worst experiences!
If I can give negative 100 I would. We purchased an above ground pool April 2019 - happy experience until all the parts are not in.. they went ahead an installed with 2 different top rails and promised to be back with the correct ones. A year and half later, multiple calls, lies, etc.. still no rails.. oh wait they are at the store now but no install!!!
I would give zero stars if possible. My husband and I purchased at Hot Tub from Splash back in April. We decided to go with the GreenSky financing that was offered by them. We were told by Brian that our payments would be one amount which was true but only for just about 3 months. After that, our payment would go up to a note we are not comfortable paying and never would have gotten the tub had we known this. Of course, Splash has already made the sale so they are done with us. Before I forget, our brand new $9,000 hot tub was delivered damaged. We were told the side panel was ordered and would be in shortly. We are now in November, do you think we have it? You guessed it, we dont!! Do yourself a favor dont do it! I sure wish we wouldnt have!
I don’t normally write reviews, in fact this is the first one I have ever written but the employees working here were so nice and so helpful they made a lasting impression on me that it needed to be noticed. I went to the store yesterday, during the holiday season, to find some Christmas lights that my mother had just bought that she was raving about. The employee working had remembered my mother and what she bought and helped me find exactly what I needed. Another man came to check me out and they were both so happy to help me and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. Good customer service always leaves me with a smile. It really did impact my entire experience and I left in a great mood. I will definitely be back and I have already been referring my friends and colleagues to this establishment. Really great guys! In early May I went to Splash pools to look at pools. Ultimately I decided on an above ground pool with the deluxe additional package. The cost with installation was around $7000.Not cheap by any means.In my conversation with Mike the sales guy I specifically asked about what was included with installation. I was repeatedly told everything. All I would need to do was to pull a water sample and bring it in and they would tell me what chemicals I needed to add.I asked specific questions about the pump, the filter, the cleaner unit and was told over and over that the install guy would set it all up and explain it to me. DID NOT HAPPEN!!Its been 6 weeks and I am still not able to use the pool. I do not know if the pump is working - they never plugged it in and primed and tested. Dont know if the frog filter system is working. The cleaning unit is still in the box. The ladder was never installed. No cover or voucher for cover was given.The pool is so full of algae now I cannot even begin to figure out where to start. Splash pools says it is the install guys issue and the install guy wont return calls. The install guy did not/would not give me a receipt for work done which means there is no warranty on it. The warranty states you have to have the receipt to confirm install date.Splash pools will not help me in any way to get this resolved. I talked with one of the managers today and his response was you have a pool in your year right? He is saying basically they lived up to their part - I bought a pool the pool was delivered. I was told they are a retail and not a service provider. End of their story.
Been waiting on a coffee table for over a month. Micah says hes going to call me back every time I inquire on the status and Im yet to receive a return call. Wayfair has equally good products and is 10x more responsive! Seriously, how difficult is it to call someone back!?!??? So much for trying to support the local economy....
Their website is very misleading when as to the price of their in-ground pools. The price they state does not include installation yet it does not state that, i was informed that installation would be another approximately ten thousand.
Called for a service tech for our Balboa Spa that was not working and the tech just changed out parts. Still not working after new top control was installed now tech says it’s the pump motor which is brand new. He stated the motor was wrong size. After checking with Spa Pumps they said it was correct motor. We have paid them $378.00 and still don’t have a working jacuzzi. Stated they could install a new pump for an additional $700.00 plus. Do not use these people they are a rip off.
Awesome pool store. More options than you can imagine. Sales staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Check them out.
Look, do some research. Micah has been there for years. Me and my husband Byron have purchased 3 pools from them. (We have moved several times) The first 2 pools we purchased with no issues. The third pool was not Micah or Splashs fault, its the installer. We could not get him to show up and work. Good thing my husband has knowledge of the installation process. We ended up doing all the work ourselves. We did pay for half the installation and did not get our money back. Again this is not Splashs fault. They hire contractors. The customer pays the contractors. People need to understand this. I would buy another pool,spa or Christmas Tree from Splash. You will not find better prices. Reviews are only posted when customers are mad. Good reviews should be posted as well. Thank Amber H.
Its a pleasure to deal with the sales staff as they are friendly and very knowledgeable about the products they offer. Clean and very up scale! I love my new hot tub thanks guys!!
I would like to thank Mr. Brian Houghes with Splash Pools in Baton Rouge, we had some issues getting our pool finished and ready for summer, but with he went above and beyond to make sure we was satisfied. Thank you
The pool took a few extra days to install because of the grade of my property but the pool was installed perfectly level and I have no complaints. Ive never had any problems with the staff, theyre always very helpful.
Very rude and impatient staff, came by after work on black friday to get some Christmas tree decorations to fill in some holes in the tree and was treated very rudely by staff and when i asked about a price one said that the sign says 20-75% off and ill find out the price when i go to checkout, so basically at that point i left because im not giving a business my money when they hire employees like that.
0 stars...On July 3 in the late afternoon, my daughter and I witnessed a driver of your big Splash truck driving on I-10 and taking the Seigan Lane exit litter the highway w/a beer can bottle tossed out of the driver side window onto the interstate. Drunk or drinking drivers for your company should be reported to the police.
Its taken a month to get the pool installed and now we are waiting for the guy to install the pump. They left empty boxes, tools and a bit of trash from installing the pool and our pump and what not has been sitting in the box rained on because they left it sitting there. Ive taken pictures and emailed it to whom ever and Im sure it will be ignored. They shouldnt charge an outrageous amount to have it installed if their only going to put up part of it and have you wait a few more days to install the rest. We were recommended to this place and now its a complete disappointment. And anyone who says this place is great is probably a family member or friend. Just saying!
Great pool and spa store. I needed some chemicals for my pool and they had many choices and the workers were helpful and nice.
Went in with my mother in law yesterday and got nothing but pure attitude and rudeness from the guy with the brown and blue hair. He also gave us the wrong supplies. We came back today, another disappointing visit. Was given the same attitude by the same guy! Will be trying to find another spa/pool supplies store !!!

I saw a dissatisfied customer in there who had only bought her tree the previous day. The man at the counter refused to return the product, and offered no help whatsoever to the woman. She spent 600$ on this tree. I wouldnt spend that kind of money at a store that doesnt offer the customer service to back up the products they sell.
These guys have never once been helpful when i called or went into the store. It’s pretty sad. Go to Leslie’s or Clearwater Pools. Support the other local pool supplies merchants.
