I always have a wonderful experience at Gilded Egret. The girls that work in the store are so helpful and kind. The owner of the store is so sweet and treats you like family. The clothes are beautiful and they have everything you could ever need and more. You will visit this store again and again.

I just recently found this wonderful store while I was in town visiting family! They have one of the best selections of children’s and infants clothing I’ve ever seen! A sweet young lady named Caroline was working and she was very helpful, sweet and made sure we were all taken care of. I will definitely be returning when I go back to town!

I would give a minus rating if I could. This young lady is very unprofessional. She promised a monogram gown for my 1st newborn granddaughter and did not provide the merchandise but refused to allow the bank to refund me. It was a Christmas gift and I was promised it would be ready for Christmas and it was not... It is a long story too much to type. Don’t shop here go where you are valued as a customer.

Purchased a monogrammed pillow on Dec 3, 2020. Overcharged $30. Got that fixed a few days later. Was told it would be in in a week. Went to pick up...not ready. Was told they would call..never did. Called back, was told it would be in later that week, went to pick up again. Not in. Was assured on Dec 22 she would have it to me for Christmas. Was on her way to the post office. Gave plenty time, never recd it. Continued calling and would get no answer. Finally after contacting on instagram she says she mailed it and would refund me, and still send the pillow and tracking number. It is now January 25th. No pillow which was over $80, no tracking number and never refunded....Terrible customer service!Update: As for the overcharge....I was told in the store after questioning it that yall didnt overcharge. Then had to call and get a refund.Was never told it would take 2 weeks. But now it is 2 months.As for as getting it done somewhere else it was because you told us you were having problems with lady that monogrammed for you and she was taking longer than expected. It was a gift and needed it.You NEVER refunded the money, never sent tracking code that you supposedly had and the item still has not been received. Which you have never followed up on to let us know. As for as miscommunication there was none.So now...no refund no pillow.Still waiting on the pillow to arrive. Please send tracking info!

Some of the most helpful owners! I recently moved out of town and they made my shopping experience so easy! Not only did they send me tons of pictures, they shipped my package efficiently and got it to me in no time! I can’t wait to order more things for my sweet baby boy!

One of the best kept secrets in BR!! When I moved away I was so scared I wouldn’t have anyway to dress my kiddos the way I wanted to but they kept me sane! I got my orders that same week!! I highly suggest their website if you are out of town!

Wonderful selection of high quality clothing! You can always find a unique baby shower gift here and the customer service is amazing! You can even order online and have the item shipped which is super convenient!

Ordered an outfit a month and a half ago. Two weeks ago I called to see if I could get an update. After several no answers, they tried to tell me that Fedex tried to deliver my package the previous day, which wasn’t true and that they would send me an email with tracking, which they never did. I called again a week later and they told me they would check on the order and call me back, which they never did. Being lied to and avoided is unacceptable when all I’m asking for is an update on the order. I’ll never shop here again.

I have absolutely loved working at The Gilded Egret. The friendliest owners who make every employee and customer feel like family. Also the biggest selection of the best brands of baby clothes in the Baton Rouge area. Highly recommend for every mama and mama-to-be!!

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was looking for a specific blanket for my daughter, I was suggested The Gilded Egret had what I was looking for and would ship for free. I messaged them, they said they had the item, and I paid through a PayPal invoice they sent me. This was April 18th. It is May 7th. I messaged them looking for an update and heard nothing. Called the business line posted on both their website and their Facebook and it repeatedly says the number is not available.I have yet to receive the item I paid for or a tracking number. I have had to file a dispute and claim through PayPal and have heard no updates from The Gilded Egret. Horrible business practice and horrible customer service. I would discourage anyone from purchasing from here. I was trying to give grace and support a small business during this pandemic, but it was a waste of time and money. Buy at your own risk, especially if it is through them online.
