Slightly expensive but good service. They work with your insurance also give the options of out of pocket. Also comes with warranty. The repair warranty is not as useful as the replacement but nevertheless its good to have. I would recommend it for any glass replacement.

I got my windshield replaced yesterday and it took longer to pull my car back to be serviced than I appreciated. However, the staff was friendly and professional. Jesse was awesome, he was able to reapply and place my stickers neatly and left an informative voicemail to notify me that my service was completed. Not that I want to return but if necessary I would definitely revisit this location.

These guys are fantastic. I was in and out in about an hour. I was told Id be there for 2-3 hours due to a windshield replacement and calibration for my backup camera. Parking is a little crowded but Baton rouge traffic is crazy but great service!

Everyone working was super professional and very kind. They started working on my car as soon as I brought it in. However, I’m leaving a poor review because I set up an appointment to get my front windshield and all over my wipers replaced about a week ago. A Safelite tech called me yesterday, confirmed my price, and informed me everything was all set for my appointment today.I go in today for my 1 pm appointment, they take my car back and I go sit outside to wait. I’m sitting for about 45 minutes to an hour and one of the techs tells me they don’t have the right part to replace my windshield and that I’ll have to come back another day. He didn’t mention if the wipers were replaced or not... I can tell my back windshield wiper was replaced, but to be honest, I have no idea if the front ones were because they are rusty and I don’t know if putting new wipers on a broken windshield is a good idea. When the tech told me my work couldn’t be done today, he was apologetic and professional.I am, however, extremely annoyed that my time has been wasted. I made this appointment in advance for a reason and have already paid for my services. Now I’m going to have to come back another day and be out of a vehicle that day for a few hours and move my schedule around again when it could’ve just been done today, which was the whole point of me making an appointment in advance.

Had an appointment to get our windshield replaced. When we got there we waited for almost an hour for them to tell us they couldnt replace our windshield because the 1 they had in stock was cracked. We were told that they would order us another windshield and it should have been there by next Wednesday and we could come get it replaced on Saturday, tomorrow. We called today to make sure the windshield had arrived and instead found out they never rescheduled us. Will be going some where else as theyve wasted so much of our time.

Recently I booked an appointment to safelite auto glass to get a windshield replaced on my 2012 Sierra.I booked online and received a reminder one day before my appointment and one about an hour just before my appointment. I dropped the vehicle off and in a little over an hour, the job was complete. During my appointment booking, I was asked if I wanted my wipers replaced. I performed a price comparison and they were quite competitive so I got those done as well.When I was driving the vehicle back home all I kept thinking is, I can see clearly now and so on.Great job!

I took my 2010 Chevy Impala in for 3:30 pm to have my windshield repaired. I was out at about 4:30 in 40 minutes. They also recommended new windshield wipers. My windshield looks brand new and I can see clearly. Im very impressed and would definitely recommend Safelite for your glass repairs. The technician took his time and explained everything.

I am so happy that my coworkers recommended Safelite. I was able to schedule an appointment within an hour or so after cracking my windshield -- they came to my work location, repaired the crack (even though it grew to about 6 inches almost immediately), and made sure that the entire process was stress-free for me. If youre busy, stressed, and neurotic like me... give these people a call. I was even able to schedule online via Liberty Mutual. That whole process took only about 3 minutes. My technician called when she was headed my way, met me in the parking lot with an incredibly friendly and reassuring attitude, called me when she was finished, and offered to leave the pamphlet and receipt in my vehicle so I did not even have to come back out to the parking lot. I walked out to look at the windshield at lunch, and I was absolutely stunned at what a good job she did. I did not expect the crack to be less noticeable -- I just wanted to stop the spreading. They not only stopped it from getting any worse, but also made it FAR less noticeable (see photos). Honestly, the most important thing to me is keeping things like this from getting too stressful. Safelite DEFINITELY made this process stress-free.

I made an appointment for a mobile windshield replacement for today, 8/19/20. The appointment was scheduled close to 1 week ahead. I set up a morning appointment in which the technician is supposed to come anytime between the hours of 8am-12pm.At 12pm, I haven’t heard from the technician, or anyone. I called the contact number to find out why I haven’t heard from anyone if there was going to be a delay. The customer service person said she will contact the technician to find out why I haven’t heard from him.Moments later, the technician, Hunter, called me and told me he was running behind. I asked him how come he did not contact me to inform me of the delay. He responded by stating it will be another 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs before he would be able to get to me. No apology was given! I asked him if there will be another delay, will he contact me to let me know, he said that he would.Currently it is 1pm, and I’m curious to see if Hunter will show up by 2pm, or if he will let me know if there will be another delay.Poor customer service, unprofessionalism, is what drives me to post reviews. This experience has been very unprofessional. It would have made the BIGGEST difference someone from customer service, or the technician, would have just made an effort to contact me prior to the deadline and let me know that there was going to be a delay.If I’d read a review of a previous customer of Safelite Baton Rouge stating the same type of experience, I would have went with another company for my business.

WOW.... The quality manager put this on my $91,000.00 Corvette.... This was the first thing I noticed when I walked up to my vehicle. A defective aftermarket windshield. BEWARE and inspect the windshield carefully before you leave there. The workmanship from the tech was excellent but the quality manager that OKd this to be installed must be fired.

I rated Safelite a 1 bcuz of their price, not their service. I still feel they are a 4 star service, but I got my windshield & front passenger window fixed on my 2007 Tahoe $200 cheaper than what Safelite wanted to charge. The only difference was I had to go to the shop, but it was the same day. I had to wait until the next day with Safelite. I dont mind a lil inconvenience if it saves me $ & I get the same quality work.

Replaced two windshields for us under the carport - replaced my husbands big truck windshield and didn’t wreck his satellite radio antenna like the other guys. Then replaced the car windshield. At 4:45 we called the office to check on the status of our appointment and were told our technician Brandon was running late but would be here. At 5:20 we called the office again but by then they had closed. Technician never showed. No call from the business. Poor business practice, poor customer service. Would not recommend.

Parts for my car can be difficult to source, so I am extremely grateful for the effort that she put in. The new windshield looks pristine, and they changed my wiper blades too!

Made an appointment for 9The gps said that i would arrive at 8:55Gps took me to the wrong location and i had to get directions from someon . By the time i arrived it was 9:17They called me at 10:11 and said that they wouldnt be able to service me at that time because i missed the 15min grace period and that they could get to me at 1pm.I drove 30 min. They should have told me this the time i checked in or made me aware at the time of an appointment. I dont think i will use this company ever again

I went in on a Saturday morning with no prior appointment time and was able to schedule one a few hours later at 1p.m. When I returned for the appointment, they took my vehicle key and a short while later and the windshield replacement process began. I was there a little longer than I wanted to be but it was a same day appointment so I expected to wait for a bit. I think the whole process took about 2 hours. Maybe a little less. I liked that there was available wifi and there were windows in the waiting room so I could actually see the work that was being done on my vehicle. My only complaint was that when I showed up for 1p.m. (the appointment time they scheduled for me) I had to wait about 25 more minutes for the technician who was doing the work on my car to get back from lunch. That was mildly annoying and something that could have been easily avoided. Overall, I had a positive experience. The technician was careful in his work (I watched him periodically working on my vehicle). He didnt seem to be in a rush and was being careful in all of what he was doing. I appreciated that. The price was a little high but windshields are expensive. No way around that one. Id certainly recommend Safelite Autoglass to friends and Id use them again but hopefully Ill never have to.

They broke a piece on the front of my car and also ripped the headliner. They tried to cover the headliner tear with glue. It looked horrible and I noticed right away. I told the man I saw that it was torn and glued he told me he could smooth it out. He also used an adhesive to try to glue on the other broken piece, the clips had been broken off. He never said sorry or offered to replace either broken piece. I insisted they both be fixed correctly and at that point he said he would have the girl order them. It has been two weeks and I have not heard from them. I call the number and can’t reach the actual shop. I will have to drive there to ask what is happening. I’m very very unhappy

The workers were professional and efficient, but the managers made some bad decisions. They did correct all the mistakes though, without argument, which I really appreciated. In the end everything was appropriately repaired and they kept me posted throughout the process.EDIT: I do want to warn people away from this place. When I first posted my review I was guilted into keeping it vague and positive by the workers who told me their managers would take it out on them if I posted a bad review. SEVERAL workers told me the same sob story almost word for word and independently of one another. Sounded staged.They had to replace my window three times before they got it right, and broke the mechanism in the process. After all the work they did on it it still doesnt work correctly. And then whoever checks the google reviews responds with an apology to make them look like they actually care.Stay away from this business. Their workers seem better trained to emotionally manipulate than to actually fix windows. They dont care about good service, just good appearances.

I scheduled my appointment online to have my windshield fixed, and the process was quick and easy. When I showed up on the day of my appointment the Baton Rouge team was so helpful. Everyone was very kind and explained the process to me. I even left my planner there after my appointment and a team member immediately called me, and made sure I knew where I could retrieve it from the next day. I just had my windshield replaced however I had to go back inside to ask them to clean my other windows. Still managed to not clean my rear window. I also had to go back in so that they would put my old inspection sticker back on. It had expired, but when I spoke to the technician he stated that all I would’ve needed to do was to just show the would be officer my receipt. I guess it wasn’t all that important to them.

I have had 3 separate crack repairs in the past 2 years and I have been totally satisfied with Safelite AutoGlass of Baton Rouge. I booked 1 appointment over the phone and 2 via the internet. All experiences were great! The phone contacts are always very nice and helpful. The techs are great - I get plenty of notification of when they will arrive and they are always handle themselves in a professional manner. They clean all the glass on my truck and today Brandi (the mobile tech) even vacuumed my front floor mats! I highly recommend Safelite AutoGlass of Baton Rouge for crack and chip repairs.

Please find another company to replace your windshield. Original appointment scheduled between 8 AM and 12 PM. Received a call the day before to reschedule. I specifically requested an OEM windshield on my 2019 vehicle which was approved by the insurance company however technician arrived with incorrect windshield. We rescheduled for the next business day and I received yet another call during my appointment time that they needed to reschedule AGAIN. Then they tell me I need to come in and have the windshield replaced. TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. THIS GROUP IS CLEARLY INCOMPETENT.

I had booked an appointment to get my windshield replaced for 9am one day and as soon as I got the appointment confirmed I brought my car in 10 min early. I asked how long it would take to have it replaced and I was told an hour to an hour and a half, so I left and I was gone for an hour. When I returned I waited another hour. now 2 hours after my scheduled appointment and I was approached by the lady at the front desk who told me that they were not sure on my return so they decided to work on other cars in the meantime, but now that they all knew I was back they were rushing to get my windshield replaced. Now 2 hours and 45 minutes later Im finally leaving the place. Im sorry, but you dont tell me an hour to an hour and a half and then put off my car so that you can fix other peoples cars. I had an appointment booked, I was told and 1 hour -1 1/2 hr wait, I expect my car to get done in the time its suppose to. I would have understood if they were running behind schedule, but they werent. They simply decided that my car wasnt important enough all because I had dropped it off and they werent sure when I would return. Thats absolutely no excuse. Will not be returning back to this place. It is overpriced and the service is absolutely terrible.

What I dont understand is that when a customer shows up for an appointment 1 hour ahead of schedule and at his scheduled appointment time arrives they proceed to pull vehicles that have the same time as me that showed up after me and are not even waiting for there vehicle! Thirty minutes later when I ask where I am at in line and I have been told 1-2 hours. I ask for my keys back and cancel my appointment and seriously considering no longer doing any business with Safelite again. Totally unacceptable and I am not the only customer that left that location today upset!

Safelite installed a new windshield around 2 weeks ago. I was quoted a rate of $625. When they came out, they said it was $875. When questioned, they said the amount quoted was wrong and if I wanted a new windshield, the only option was $875.Recently, my windshield was hit by 2 rocks. Immediately I called the Baton Rouge Safelite office and made the first appointment at 8:00 a.m. I told them the windshield was hit twice. They fixed it and I left. A few hours later I noticed that they didnt fix one of the chips and it spread significantly. I spoke with several managers about how it wouldnt have spread had they injected resin into both impact areas.A few days later, management responded and it was taken care of to my satisfaction.

I am very happy with my Safelite experience. A small rock hit my windshield, and I wanted to fill the crack before it spread. We called Safelite, and they sent someone to my office that day. My technician, Davy, was awesome. He explained the process, told me I could watch if I wanted (I couldnt due to work), fixed it in about 15 minutes, and even did a few additional services like cleaning all of my windows. When he was done, he showed me the results, made sure I was satisfied, and told me that the work is guaranteed.In the past, I had chosen another glass place in town, and while they were a few dollars cheaper, my experience was horrendous! (See that review by me.) I will call Safelite for any other windshield work I ever need. Their service is superior!

UPDATE: Attempt #4 to replace windshield was an EPIC fail! The technician didn’t communicate with the mothership and arrivedto the scheduled appointment location late and WITHOUT the windshield! “Misty” from Safelite called to apologize and blamed the month-long fiasco on her going on vacation. Can businesses not run if dept. heads take vacation?? Yikes.Dropped off car twice for scheduled appts only to find out ordered windshield was not there OR the incorrect piece. After not hearing from Safelite for one week, we called the part’s supplier directly to understand the holdup only to be told that the windshield had been ready to install for 3 days. We have wasted a bunch of time waiting for our insurance’s ‘preferred’ vendor. In the future, we will avoid this company at all costs. Not worth the frustration!

Since I have a Jeep Wrangler and live in Louisiana, I get chips and cracks in my windshield frequently. So frequently that Safelite is in my speed dial. I can be riding down the horrible Louisiana roads, have a rock chip or crack my windshield, call Safelite, and make the appointment. They come out, fix the chip sometimes the same day. They always do a great job and the staff is always very competent and friendly.

A company is only as good as its techs. All the hoopla and smiley faces means little. Its when the rubber meets the road, when lip service is backed by real service is when a company has the right to crow. I had my window replaced at home and when the tech left, he said to call them if there was any trouble. When I backed my van into the carport. I couldnt adjust my rear view mirror. I called the Safelite Office and they had Zach (the tech) call me back. He told me that he would be by the house that afternoon. Well, two days later, no Zach. I am a phone call away and no service. Do not do business with them. You would have thought the company would have followed up to make sure I was satisfied, but no call from them as well.

I would never ever use this company again I was told the person that was coming out was Terrance when the guy called to say he was on his way he said his name was Jason he was rude and he hung up on meWhen he got here he didnt have a smile on his face or greet or say anything I was asking him about some issues I had with windshield but he was too busy leaning on my truck and on his cell phone and I said I dont know and hes says well I dont either.. I thought that was a bit odd.I asked him what his name was again.. once again hes leaning on my truck and on his phone and mumbles his name. As Im watching him change out the windshield hes taking his tools and throwing it in my truck some are falling out and hitting my foot railings. I would not recommend the Baton Rouge location to anyone I heard nothing but great things about the New Orleans location and thought I would give them a try next time Ill go with a local less REP. If you are curious why Safelite Baton Rouge has all 5 star ratings on their website, I just found out. They delete all other posts for ratings less than a 5. Perhaps this post, which cannot be deleted, will stay up. I confirmed my email for the rating (they send a confirmation email), but they still havent posted it. Here is my original post:My new windshield cracked after only a few weeks (a literal crack from the base of the windshield running up). The technician had also installed new wiper blades, but after he finished with my car they were not working properly. The first time it rained (where I had to turn them all of the way up), I turned on the wipers and the windshield cracked. I watched it happen. The windshield wipers are also now skipping across the glass, which is what I suspect is the issue (or compounded the issue). I scheduled a warranty appointment, and because the origination of the crack had one teeny-tiny chard of glass, the guy said there was an impact point. This was so frustrating. The crack formed because the blades were installed improperly. They literally skip across my windshield. I will not recommend them again. I welcome Safelite to make this right. But a condescending manager/owner just made it clear they will not (maam...whats the big deal...just file it on your insurance).I feel terrible posting my first negative review...

Once again I got another chipped glass from these awful Louisiana roads. Ashley the technician came out to my residence (2nd time shes been out here) and did an excellent job! She is the sweetest and most professional technician yall have! She even loved my Golden Retriever puppy!

Made an appointment for the next day at 3pm to have my windshield replaced. Dropped my car off about 10 minutes early, I gave the girl my name and my keys and left. I was told it would take an hour and a half to two hours. They called me around 4:15 and told me my car was ready and asked if I was picking my car up today (because they were closing soon). I went back to safelite, paid for the new windshield and wipers and was on my way. Super fast and simple. They had also vaccumed my car and cleaned my other windows which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this place. Hopefully wont be back but next time I need windshield repairs Ill be returning!

I’m only giving a one-star review because zero stars was not an option. My technician was friendly and professional enough; however, I was misquoted on the price. If you call the call center, the price they give you is just for the glass. The quoted price is not inclusive of installation and an assortment of fees (as if 99.99% of customers wont be having it installed). Add to that, the frustration of them taking significantly longer than the time quoted to install it and having to wait in a waiting room with only two old magazines and you can imagine this was not a pleasant experience. I read the one-star reviews before I went, but thought they were exaggerating.
