Some interesting things, but most of it is rusted/tarnished/broken/missing parts and is overpriced for its current condition. Im willing to buy broken or rusted items and restore them, but not at these prices. It is fun to come here, but theres not a whole lot I would buy. I can find better versions at comparable prices online, with much less restoration work needed. Just my two bits. The staff is really sweet and helpful, though!
It is so much more than an antique store. The restaurant is why I went there for a great breakfast.
Great place to find all kind of vintage and antique furniture and more at a reasonable price
Lovely, quirky place with a collection of fun shops and a restaurant. There should be shops like this all along Government St. Caveat on the new restaurant: Great patio & live music but dismal tasting food (how do you run out of chicken), 1 hour to get a mimosa and some of us never even got food and had to leave after 2.5 hours.....
Great place, Good finds and even food.
A really cool place to shop dine and have a good time
Art collectiom as well as antiques are both interesting and amazing. I was in awe the whole time
Coolest place ever if you are in the market for antique hardware then you gotta stop by here. And on a side note they have a fun gift shop that stocks white sage (smudge away the bad juju).
My take: Its a cute little shop with some this and that yard art to draw you in from the street. But the anticipation of what we might find inside really was greater than anything we came across. After spending about half an hour wandering through, we were on our way out, disappointed. The majority of the store is Victorian styled items, many reproductions, but all pretty pricey for what they are. The few items I had some interest in turned out to have been broken (brass casting of elk missing both antlers) and/or overpriced. The maimed elk was still over $30. This kind of thing is fine if youre billing yourselves as a tchotchke shop or vintage second hand store, but not antiques per se.Sure, the MCM set was in good condition, but it was also missing 3 chairs and still priced at a premium compared to other listings of the same item. The MCM dresser from Basset was cool, but, again, priced as if it were a rare and novel item.So my 3 stars are just 3, because this place is just okay. If youre already stopping in next door to eat brunch, by all means swing through. Its a nice distraction. But if youre out seeking cool antiques or making a trip of hitting vintage shops in the area, I would not go out of my way to stop here.
Cute antique stores
A must stop & shop! My favorite place to find vintage items and other unique things from several different vendors! Garrett, the owner, is always very kind and helpful. I enjoy stopping by the store when I am in the area to see what treasures I can find!
Hands down, the coolest store in Baton Rouge! Packed full of vintage and antique decor, Circa is unlike any other Interiors shop Ive ever been to.
It was okay, the place sell a lot created art.
Cool store.
We always find the coolest stuff here. Every visit is a new experience. If you love quirky things, rustic, or vintage this is a must visit place.
Fun place to visit. A lot to look at. Great, knowledgeable owner. Stop in frequently to see what is new.
Friendly staff, well kept antiques, and local art.
Visiting is like going on an adventure. Everything is unique and exciting! You never know what you will find!
The owner was SO helpful. He went above and beyond to help us. We had been looking for a table for about a year and he had the PERFECT table. He has an incredible mix of furnishings and the service to match. I will be back!
Very cute and eclectic. Their prices are very reasonable. Loved it.
Its a cool place to visit occasionally to see what they have in. The prices are high and many of the architectural treasures arent marked with price tags. The art here is unexpected and cool. They seem well priced for original pieces.
Love the layout and the thought put into being a customer friendly place. I will be back along with my friends and family.
Enjoy browsing through the shops and eating lunch at Yvette Marie’s Cafe!
Our guide was very entertaining and informative. I will definitely go back!!
This place is off the chain! They have lots and lots of items and it continues outside. It ranges from the mundane to the one of a kind. People there are very nice very helpful. If you are stopping or going through Baton Rouge you have to stop.
Worth a visit to this partly architectural museum/gallery/anteeky junque shop. You can also get something to eat and occasionally hear live music. Fun to visit, great place to find that item you didnt know you had to have. Abundant yard art.
Be careful some antique dealers are not knowledgeable, people list items as rare and antique when infact a certain item is newer but looks older. One thing about human nature we always hope what we have is valuable, but it takes just one person to hypothesize that its old and a person runs with that, not knowing its a common item of little value..This can be attributed to UKNOWLEDGEABLE dealers or simply a shady individual trying to scam a quick buck out of an unsuspecting customer.Being a antique dealer for the last 46 yearsIve seen nice antiques that are genuine and worthy of their price tag, but Ive also seen fakes and falsely represented items listed for a very high mark up .an unknowing customer could easily be deceived .always research what you are about to purchase especially when the item gets into the hundreds. You could end up paying hundreds for an item that is only worth $40 . Beware.
Such a cute area. I definitely want to explore it more
Wonderful area and so many one of a kind items. Highly recommend stopping in.
Flew in from Colorado and made absolute certain to go back to this store. I loved it so much four years ago and bought art work by the local students there, yet it was nothing more than a huge disappointment this time. Nobody even acknowledged my existence when I came into the store. I thought the place was empty until I saw somebody in the very back. And sadly enough it lost its sense of life. It didnt have the array of local artists pieces for sale. The antiques appeared to be vastly overpriced. And when I saw what the store had become, I can honestly say I was embarrassed that I had been recommending that place to all my local friends and family.
Youve got to see Christin for all your permanent makeup needs.....shes the best around.
A lot of neat things. Decent prices
A very nice collection of vintage items and the prices are very reasonable. Its a great place to decompress and just wander through, looking at the collectibles and art.
Awesome finds both old and new and new-old items too. Plus local art and one of a kind decor items.
Fun place to shop, lots of artsy things for sale but not much in the way of antiques.
