Me and my friend went to buy a b-day gift for my one of our friends. We went in and found the knitted purses. We had come before and seen one but it was not there this time. My friendly kindly asked if there was any more or if she knew the maker. The lady rudely said there just arent any more. we have any more. Thats it. Thats all of them. She also responded with I dont know where you can get more, I just dont know. OK jeez!Another woman kept on calling me maam with a little smirk. Even thou I have a high pitch voice I am still a man and would love to be respected.

As a lover of all things mid century, this store is like heaven ! Such an awesome selection of wonderful mid century items that’s so hard to find these days . Even though the things that caught my eye were way out of my budget, still reasonably priced though, I’ll definitely be back .

Really neat, eccentric place that reminds me of a spot on SoCo in ATX. Fun to walk around but felt a lot of items were overpriced. I get that my grandmothers glassware is probably considered kitschy, but $45 for a set of 6 juice glasses felt steep.

Amazing vintage store. A must stop!

I have been to this antique store several times to browse. Each time, I do see interesting items, but the prices are very inflated. Much much higher compared to other local stores. The last time I was there, I was interested in a very very small (~10 mL) glass graduated cylinder, but it was $14. I know $14 doesnt sound much, but for the size ofhis item...that seemed quite a bit higher than I was expecting. In fact, I browsed another large selection of glass bottles they had stocked,all were over $10 (and most of them held less than 10 oz). I thought that was outrageous.Now, dont be completely put off...they do stock some very nice vintage and antique items..just be aware that the price may be much higherhan you expect.I probably wont go back as often as I was going (once every 4-5 months).

Beautifully arranged store. Middle range prices. Youre not going to find thrift store prices, but the vendors prices arent exorbitant either. Many, many beautiful things.

I love to visit The Pink Elephant when in Baton Rouge. I have noticed over the years that they usually have an extensive selection of vintage glassware in particular. The workers are friendly and helpful. The store and booths are very organized and tidy.

I absolutely adore this place! The store is very large, filled completely with unique, incredible items! Theres even an outdoor courtyard with even more options to browse! I used to walk here after school and admire everything there, and now I drive over and visit every chance I get! Wonderful staff who really care about their customers and their jobs, as well as so much interesting stuff to choose from! Perfect place to find unique, memorable gifts for loved ones, ecclectic decor/furniture, or just vintage items for yourself! I often visit to buy dolls to add to my collection, and I usually end up spending hours perusing the shop, so I can get a good look at everything. The best part is, you can often get something 100+ years old for $20! Wonderful place, highly recommend.

I loved my experience at the Pink Elephant. The ladies were very very helpful. I was choosing decor for my nieces new home. I ended up with the most beautiful macrame plant holder and glass bowl. I will definitely be going back.

I came on a weekend probably around 3:00, I had some items that Im still trying to find information about... as I walked around the shop I was in awe of the eclectic, strategically placed items, however, as I moved from theme room to room I felt eyeballs following me and could feel that my presence was making someone uneasy... I told myself I would continue looking but I wouldnt dare touch anything.. maybe it was just that day but the energy was too tense for me. So, I may sound insane but, heres your clue you wanted.

This is one of my favorite antique stores in Baton Rouge. They have a great collection of things. Go anytime, but it is best enjoyed when you have the time to enjoy it and get some good browsing time in because it has so many things to look at.

Seriously one of the best antique stores into which Ive ever been. So many great things its just not a junk shop with stuff shoved everywhere. Everything is so good and theres great variety big stuff, small stuff, paintings, pictures, prints.

Has a very interesting and wide selection of items. I would like to go again under caution due to their placement of alledged high price glass items. A plate retailed at $50 was displayed in the center walkway and accidentally bumped and broken by my friend, who was charged for the item which was bagged and given to her. I personally thought the act was rude since she threw it in their garbage can outside the front door.Just beware of these mis-placed high dollar gems while admiring the really nice items they do have in this store.

As wonderful and exciting this place is and was to me, my opinion of it has forever been sullied by the extremely rude and confrontational greeting my boyfriend and I got when entering the other day. One of the employees had parked her rather large vehicle right outside the front door (which in retail is an unspoken no-no) and we had to park very close to it due to limited parking. Making sure the door of our car didnt hit hers, we went inside where we were immediately greeted with a harsh, Why did you park so close to my car that you hit it with your door?? We had to convince the employee that we did not harm her car and had to explain why we parked so close before she backed down. The trip was immediately soured and I didnt feel as though I could buy anything because I felt that I and my boyfriend were being wrongly accused for a damage we made sure not to inflict when we just wanted to have a nice time shopping, when in the past all Ive ever been greeted with was smiles and warm welcomes. I had a hard time enjoying the trip after that, and am quite disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite places to go.

Went in looking for elephant statues and such for a friends birthday. The place is named Pink Elephant, youd think thered be plenty right? Wrong. And most of it is not even for sale! If that wasnt annoying enough the ladies working there were short and rude with me. Oh! And extremely overpriced. I will never come back.
