Great place, so much fabric to choose from. Get the same great prices in the wholesale area (bolts and bulk) as in the retail area. Free shipping from their website on orders over 50 bucks. Gotta pay sales tax from in the store, that kinda killed me with my large purchase. But friendly people will continue to shop with them.
Absolutely Love this place and you cant beat the price! If you quilt, a 15 yard bolt for under $40.00 bucks. I travel an hour and 45 minutes to get there, but it is so worth it. I always find what Im looking for.

The Marshall Dry Goods web site is totally awesome! I have purchased on line and in person and all my experiences are wonderful.-- I have been sewing since I was four years old and have been purchasing my own fabrics and making my own patterns since my early teens. I have never been to such a fabulous place! The selection is unlimited, the options and prices are great, and the staff are fabulous. Every single question I have ever had has been answered with kindness, courtesy, and best of all -- helpful results!! Heres the thing, other fabric stores will sell exactly what is asked for. For example, if I request one yard from Joanns, I receive exactly 36 inches of fabric. The problem, of course, is that once the fabric is pre-washed, I am short. Marshall Dry Goods sells generously!! If I ask for a yard, I always receive extra. It is just one more reason that I will never purchase fabric anywhere else. Though the website is the best I have ever seen, If at all possible, go to the shop in person. When you go, bring a list and allow yourself lots and lots of time because I promise you wont want to leave.
I arrived at the store late and didnt have enough time to slobber over everything! Omg! The women there were super nice and accommodating. They even let me stay past closing hour.
I was there with my wife, she knew about the place and had been there before. I have been with her when she goes to these places. You could have knocked me over I was so impressed with this place. Ive never seen a bigger fabric store. I am sorry to say my wife didnt find what she wanted. I couldnt believe she couldnt find what she needed. She wasnt feeling well, she just had a shot in her one eye.
I had heard a lot about your store while living in Florida; but even with all of that was so delightfully surprised when visiting What a blessing Clerks were so helpful and polite. Quality was great. There was a fabric on one of the back tables I fell in love with. I wanted it t cover a chair It is kinda of a teal or I have a color difficency and not sure but it had corals from the ocean in it. I dont see it on line and want to order some soon
There was an employee that was loud and very distracting. She would get to back and yell all the way to the front. Very unprofessional. Her voice was very irritating.

I have been very pleased with the quality of the fabric from Marshall’s. When it shows up on your feed be sure and order immediately as favorite colors sell out fast. The delivery has been fast...hardly any wait time.

People here are amazing! Crazy amount of fabric and they know their stuff. They are super busy but help as fast as they can. Prices are fantastic and they sometimes have really rare fabric when he buys out other companies. But the vast majority he makes himself.
Marshall Dry Goods offers wonderful prices and the shipping time is great. I was short one item with my recent order. I called to notify customer service. Ordinarily, I find customer service folks to offer their name and answer in a friendly manner. This was not the case today. My feeling was that my call was an annoyance. I trust that the item that was initially left off my order will be sent.

Tammy is AMAZING!!! She get the gold stars. She went above and beyond to find my order that the Online Sales people neglected to communicate had already shipped. The online sales dept needs serious training in customer service. We dont HAVE to order from them, so answering the phone with a huff doesnt make me want to order again. Love the prices. Most fabrics are quite good. Can’t beat the price for the wide backing fabrics. Rolls of Hobbs batting, even with shipping cost to Michigan was great. My concerns are that fabrics are shipped in cardboard boxes with no plastic bag holding fabric. I always worry that package will sit outside in rain or snow. Great job Marshall’s on all other services.

Customer service couldnt care less. I ordered some fabric to be delivered to Canada. I paid ridiculous shipping charges because I thought it included customs and duties (the website does not say that the customer will have additional costs on top of the absurd shipping cost). I never would have bought it if Id known there would be even more charges. When I called to say they should have that information on their website, the guy obviously couldnt be bothered. Never ordering from them again.

I ordered 4 yds of lucky medallion white on natural, received my order in less than a week! Woo hoo!!! However, the plastic bag was ripped which allow this piece of fabric to get oil and dirt on it. Called and spoke with Scott in internet sales. They are replacing the whole 4 yards!! What awesome customer service! Thank you. You can bet you’ll get more of my business and good news travels fast

Lots of fabric, some lower quality and some really good quality. Staff is great and helpful... It was very hot inside the store, thermostat I saw showed inside temperature 84, it made for an uncomfortable experience in Arkansas heat. If you are a quilter be sure and have project ideas with you, there is so much beautiful fabric you need to have a plan 😍. I spent 90 minutes inside and really enjoyed it (except for the heat) I plan on going back in the fall next time with several projects. I’d have given a 5 except for the heat.

Found their website in my search to purchase for bolts of fabric to make protective masks to donate to those who don’t have the resources to make/buy PPE themselves, and felt like it would be a better option to buy from a small business than to buy from Joann’s. Two weeks, multiple emails/attempts to contact their sales department and $150 later, not only have I not received my order but not a single peep from anyone from Marshall Dry Goods. Not about my order status, not about shipping, not about the open paypal dispute, or the refund I requested. It seems like the in person experience is a completely different ballgame, but buying online from this place has been a big fat dud.
I ordered fabric from here because it was highly recommended by quilt groups I’m in. I received fabric that was damaged, with a big flaw in it. Customer service never responded to my request for replacement. I would not recommend ordering here, customer service is nonexistent. I let everyone in my quilt groups know about this experience, when they ask for recommendations on where to buy.
I placed an order on 04/14! Got a tracking notification. Waiting, waiting, here it is May 6 and still nothing. ( I expected delay on shipping because corona, but they had no delay shipping or delay order time messages like everyone else does) but why send a shipping notification if you’re not sending it yet. So I call because my bank has been charged and still no update on tracking. They take my number and say the person in charge of shipping will call you first thing in the morning. Waiting next day no call. So I call and I explain my reason for calling. In the grumpiest tone I get a well I can’t do anything until you give me an order number. Okay, Gives order number. “Oh yeah that should have shipped, I’ll make sure it goes out today” no apologies or anything. I think this company should work on their customer service. I wasn’t rude or ugly in any way. I just simply wanted to see what was happening with my order.
Marshalls is easily the best retail business in the town of Batesville. (UPS Store is #2.) Huge inventory, constantly changing & great customer Service. Believe these positive reviews! Why the few good businesses here dont stay open all of their posted Business Hours is a total mystery, but its how very many here are. Perhaps Main St. Org & Chamber of Commerce can present a trade show / seminar: *How To Build up a small business = attract & retain good Customers* Weve given up shopping/dining there due to so many Closed signs during business hours.

I have purchase from them a few times on line. I live too far to visit the warehouse. I JUST realized that a bolt of fabric I bought was not a continuous piece! Could pose a problem with project(s) planned. It was NOT mentioned that bolts could be pieced. BEWARE!

There is a huge selection of fabrics here with good prices! It is mostly quilting cottons in solids and patterns, but they have some other fabrics such as fleece, flannel, and upholstery, as well as notions. The employees are friendly and helpful too.

I bought 108 inch wide backing for a Veterans Quilt. When I opened it up it was the worst quality fabric I have ever seen. The fabric was not square at all. I had to cut at least 8 inches off each side in order to try and make the fabric square. To top it off, there were very large staple holes in the fabric in 3 places. I always save my scraps for scrappy quilts, but this was not even considered with this fabric.I had to get this done yesterday for a Veteran project as the man is very ill. I had no time to call and have them send new fabric. I did the best I could with the worst fabric available. I am so disgusted and embarrassed to even give this to a hero. I plan on making a new quilt for the Veteran if I have enough time.I would NOT, I repeat NOT recommend this company or buy from them again..
I have so much material from Marshalls,Ill never get it all quilted up! Also, buy all my batting from them. Love, love this place!!😀 I have never got any material I havent been 100% satisfied with. They are wonderful people with great products!

I love shopping at Marshalls. I just picked out fabrics to create 4 new quilt tops. Im very impressed with some of the new fabric designs that Marshall created himself! They are gorgeous. One design is in 17 colors, which I will incorporate in a paper pieced sampler to be taught at VDRA in Vilonia, AR.
