I actually was able to handle the full reservation process online. This was a huge plus. Upon arrival, Ron was extremely courteous and professional. I thought the price was very competitive. I was able to nab a 10 x 15 storage space with metro storage today. On my first call I spoke with Linda who is very helpful then I signed up for the unit online and Ron took over from there. He helped me at the actual site. Very nice and professional I was very pleased with my experience.

Renting my unit was a seamless experience. The rep at the Batavia, IL location (Susan) was incredibly helpful. I was renting an outside unit on one of the coldest and snowy days of the winter season. Susan took the time to shovel a significant amount of snow that was accumulated in front of my unit prior to my arrival and checked-in with me when I brought my first load furniture to storage. When I came back with a second load she had again taken the time to chisel/shovel away even more ice-packed snow in front of my unit. Have you ever had a really GOOD neighbor, or a favorite relative, or friend of the family that felt way more like family? Its been an unfortunate while since I could say that I was really lucky to have any particular person in my corner that I also genuinely felt a fondness for. Today was a really GOOD day because I found a lucky clover named Susan. If your eyes are rolling right now at my sappy description, let me temper that with the absolutely horrific treatment, that Im still trying to process from a certain competitor that I had actually been using for the last 20 years with no snags until now. Im not sure if I could blame covid for the surplus of rude, crabby, disgruntled, mean spiritedness out there, because it just has not seemed to have affected Susans present, pleasant, and personable character. I have been overwhelmed with details trying to transfer my precious cargo, and she just made one big headache of mine dissolve. I couldnt make it to her in time to get set up, but she got me started over the phone and locked me into the last available unit available that fit my needs and my budget and that one step above and beyond launched my productivity into a more manageable place. It was really like having that great neighbor who you would trust with the keys to your house for the times you cant be there but need to be. Its refreshing, and while I couldnt see her smile behind these cumbersome masks I could feel her authenticity beaming with the message, you are in very good hands here. I dont usually write reviews this long but Susan is exactly the kind of person companies dream of having as the first one to greet customers and that in itself refused to allow me to let a review request wander away from me like pretty much everything on my list of priorities these days. Its important to me to know that there is someone who actually cares to answer my questions, make something easier for me and give me confidence that my belongings will be welcome and watched over. Some people tuck things away to be used occasionally but im active with what I need to store and what gets sent out and it changes with my activities and its crucial to know I will actually be responded to when I might want to make sure im not being a bad neighbor myself. Having said that, Orange is NOT The new black, turns out keeping it green is the only way to really lean!! 🤣🤩😁 Metro storage in Batavia is a real hidden gem.

We registered and selected our unit on-line. Very easy to use and got the unit type we wanted. Susan was great with the final paperwork and walk through. It’s nice to have a friendly manager to work with.

I went in to price out a storage unit that we would be needing. Susan was great going over all of the different options and prices. She let me know that it’s a busy time of year with people getting units for the cold months and the unit I was looking at only had one left. I’m glad she told me so I could get it on the spot and not lose it. She also walked me to the gate and the door to get into the unit to make sure my code was working and that I wouldn’t have any issues. It may seem little, but it’s far better service then I have gotten at other storage places. I would high recommend using Metro Self Storage.

I chose Metro Self Storage because of the excellent reviews but the primary reason for me to leave a review given that Im horrendously busy with moving stuff is the office manager, Susan. Her graciousness, kindness, and know-how were of the greatest help and the primary reason I would suggest this business. I will add also that the 24-hour access, the easy to get-to location, the generously-sized lockers, and the climate control are extremely useful, but of this whole 5th circle of HE double hockey-sticks adventure of moving Susans help, and personality will be one of the few things I will care to remember without a good backing of the devils brew.
