The people here are absolute angels! Half way through an 8 hr drive home something under my hood started smoking. As I pulled into Monro my steering gave out. Despite me not having an appointment, them being booked solid for the rest of the day, as well as not having the part I needed on hand, they still took me in and did a fantastic job. They fixed me up so that I could get home to Ohio safely and I am extremely greatful. Five stars is not enough.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Not overly impressed with the basic oil change I had about a month ago. They put way too much oil in the car. I knew something was not right, as they had the car 20 minutes. Im sure they didnt think I would check it.....

I am generally unknowledgeable when it comes to cars, but the receptionist explained everything to my very kindly. She was so patient with me and personable. I got great service, way faster than expected too. My car was left clean and my inspection was passed. They told me exactly what to look for in the future too, and even told me what to prepare to pay for it. I just really appreciated the service.

Monroe failed my inspection due to the left tire not having enough tread on it. I took it to a professional tire shop. Its all they specialize into have a different tire put on. The tire guy pulled me in and showed me that the left tire the failed had more tread then the right that passed. And both sides should have passed inspection. Measured it with a tire gauge. They purposely didnt pass my tire so that I would buy a tire. And now they want to charge me to have it re-inspected had more tried on it then the right tire.. Not to mention the lady hung up on me on me saying we have professionals here to.. Terrible service and they are cheating customers.. Shame on you monroe muffler!

The building itself is run down and not well taken care of, the employees act somewhat standoffish, but they did fix the issue I was having with my car, so thats nice. Will probably go somewhere else next time though.

Monro in Batavia provided very rapid service with a smile (behind their masks anyway). When I was in a bind with a flat tire they managed to squeeze me in at the end of a long day and get me back on the road with the tires I wanted and with a good bargain as well. They got me in same day for the inspection, were very polite. I waited about 1 hour as they were very busy. I would recommend this business.

Sherri the receptionist is very friendly, knowledgeable and patient with customers questions. Steve the manager is also the same way. They make you feel like family. The mechanics are quick and experienced at their jobs. Appointments are preferable but they accept walk ins but then theres a wait time. I come here for regular maintenance every month and have never had any issues.

I honestly will not go here again. I decided to give them a second chance after attempting to overcharge me a few years ago and not only did they attempt to do it again, but they also didnt give me the quote I asked for and further to that, they put 60K mile brake pads on a 13 year old car with nearly 150 K miles on it instead of using a less expensive pad or at the very least giving me the option to choose the less expensive pad. While I like the manager and he is a good guy, the customer service when he is not around is poor and I simply dont trust them.

Feel like they are dragging

If youre concerned about COVID and you need to wait with your car, go somewhere else. The people at the counter were okay (except one in the corner on the computer without a mask and some nose sightings - ugh) but they did nothing to enforce it with their clients. Im stuck there waiting at least 60-90 minutes (fair, its a Saturday morning) and one man walks in without one, talks to the staff for quite a while and then ventures over to the waiting area making me really nervous. Hes hanging out for 20 minutes, still chatting with staff, and no mention of a mask or simply waiting outside if you wont wear one. A second man walks in without a mask, clearly going to be waiting, and I get my keys and Im out. Very disappointing. Cant speak to their service, never got to that part...

As we were on our way to Syracuse from Cleveland on the way to a wedding, our car broke down on the I-90. The amazing people who work here agreed to stay late to get us back in business in order to make the wedding, which we wouldve missed otherwise! Amazing service and wonderful employees. We cant thank you enough.

Honestly I am very picky on who I allow to work on my car. Monro is one of the best places I have ever taken my car. Steve and Sherri are the nicest people I have ever come across at a mechanic shop. They will take the time to explain everything to you, and will help you the best they can. I will recommend this monro to all my friends, family, and colleagues.

Fast and easy as always, this is the only shop I will go for general maintenance. The prices are fair and the service is top notch.

Started coming here about 2 years ago now. And I will always come back. Steve and crew always go above and beyond to help out even if I show up at opening with some kind of unknown issue. Amazing service and customer care. Worth way more than 5 stars. Update to add, this is still true and valid in 2021.

The last time I had an oil change it was at the Batavia, NY location. I had an appointment scheduled there today for another because it was due and because I had to take it back to them, rather than a family member doing the oil change for me, because upon my family member lifting my car, he discovered the bolt to the oil plug was stripped. Monroe had a difficult time getting the bolt off and at one point warned me I may have to replace the entire oil pan which would cost me $700.00. I was very upset hearing this, all I wanted was an oil change, in and out after work and here an hour and half had gone by and I was still there. With my permission the gentleman that was working on my car continued trying to force the bolt off, risking cracking my oil pan which would leave me without a vehicle until that was fixed. As he was working away, Sherri, who works in the front, explained to me that she would be willing to waive the $700 for an oil pan if that is what it came down to, even if that meant risking her upper management being angry for her decision to make it right for the customer. As she was telling me this, the mechanic came out and said he was able to get the bolt off! 20 minutes later, my oil change was done. I went to pay and Sherri notified me not to take my wallet out because I was inconvenienced and she wanted to ensure I came back again. And I most definitely will. Thank you, Sherri and the mechanic for being patient and helping me out, things like that make a difference to people like me so THANK YOU!

Great service, great people, amazing customer service. Steve and Sherri went above and beyond to ensure I understood what I was buying, the pricing, and the differences between tires makes. (When purchasing and cashing out). This is not the first time I have been to Monro and it will not be the last. Highly recommend Monro in Batavia to all my family and friend.

My car started making very loud noises and acted strange while I was quite far from home, while traveling. They very kindly got me right in and fixed my car (exhaust pipe cracked) quickly and for a decent price. I very much appreciated their quick response and speedy repair.

The service at Monroe in Batavia New York was phenomenal. I was stranded on I 90 and was towed to their location for brake service. I called ahead and they were ready for me when the tow truck delivered me there. The crew of mechanics stopped what they were doing. They all addressed my situation and had me up and running within 10 minutes. They went and checked all of my brakes to make sure I was safe. I highly recommend this business to anyone in the area.

Sherri was so pleasant and so was Skip/Ken was amazing as well. Skip offered to check out something after I already paid and was about to leave. I will be coming back for all my car trouble

This place is great, Jeff and the crew were so helpful. I was on my way back home with a vehicle I had just obtained and ended up in mechanical pinch . They had me in and out of there in less than an hour and on my way . You guys rock !!!! Keep up the fantastic customer service !!!

I’ve been going to this place forever and everything has always been positive. The prices are reasonable and no complaints. And obviously others must agree because there always busy and to me that’s a good sign!!

Our van broke down in Batavia, NY. Steve took the time to look at our van on a Sunday and was able to diagnose the problem free of charge. He was up front on not have the right tools for our particular problem which we appreciated. Sherri at the desk called a Uber for us, gave us contacts for the local tow service and helped arrange for a hotel. Monro Auto went over and above just car repair!!

A wonderful experience like always. I needed to get my car looked at and it was handled quickly. I live in Buffalo and drive out here because Melissa runs her shop right.

After lacking trust with other shops, I found Steve and crew at Monro --where theyve become my trusted, go-to shop for years. Theyve done the breaks, inspections, replaced tires, and completed many other maintenance items on several of my vehicles. In the last month alone, Ive called them twice for help -- once while pulled over with trouble at the side of the expressway and once with a flat tire and no one else around to help. Steve was the calming voice at the other end of the phone and their team went above and beyond in both instances to help get me there, serviced and on my way again very quickly. Grateful to have a shop that provides such a peace of mind of mind! Thanks Steve and crew!!

I will never return to Monro muffler in Batavia and I strongly urge everyone to look elsewhere for your repair needs. The manager is disrespectful and looks for ways to make you spend more money, even when it is not necessary. I paid almost $400 for front brakes, with no lifetime warranty, only to leave the garage with brakes that did not work. The brake line apparently had a leak that was left leaking by the mechanic, I am lucky that I am an experienced driver and did not get into an accident. When I returned to the garage to let them know the response I received was I do not care that the line is leaking, it was not leaking when you left there is no chance they test drove the vehicle to ensure the new brakes, if they had they would have discovered the leaking brake line. they quoted $150 to replace the line and I was able to bring it to another garage and get it replaced for $62, also the mechanic suggested that the brake line had been tampered with!!!!!!!!!!!

I called while running errands. And the manager Steve was great. He worked my truck right in to theyre busy schedule. Making my over due oil change & tire rotation fit right into his schedule. I have been a customer for over few years now. The manager is awsome. He goes above and beyond every time. However its clear that its a few new employees. I have always gotten great quality work form them. Until I took my vehicle in November 29th for inspection sticker and for over heating. I was told I passed inspection they did find a code on the car that was taken care of as well as overheating so everything was good to go. I paid 555.00$ and left happy. Monday morning on my way to work(which is an hour commute)the car over heated and shut down. Leaving myself and my one year old on the side of the road. Wasnt able to make it to work . I reached out to customer service . They had me take it to another Monro Auto Closer to my home. To get another look form a different set of eyes. Here we are December 9th car still in shop. Im accruing rental fees not to mention missing one day of work. Just feels like it should have been taking care of properly in the shop the first time. Now Im feeling like I paid 555.00$ for and inspection sticker. Worst experience ever I just hope we can make it right. And Ill be able to give a more positive update.

Sherri was wonderful, I explained my situation with my terrible day and a she fire andneed wasfor I new tire because I blew a hole in my sidewalk and she was very understanding. One of the worst expiernces I’ve ever had. I had an appointment for a NYS inspection. I waited 2 hours for one inspection. The car failed inspection because of the brakes and even after that I still waited another hour. The manager who was filling in for Steve, was awful. She wasn’t accommodating at all. Numerous people walked in before me and we’re out even people who needed full tire replacements! I’ve gotten a lot of work done here, but they won’t get anymore of mine or my families business. Disgusted.

The Batavia Monro Muffler Brake saved my life today! I had brake trouble on the Thruway on my way to Binghamton and Steve Vosburgh and his crew could not have been more accommodating ...they got me right in and fixed my van so fast! They explained everything in depth and straight to the point. I got back on the road in no time! Monro is lucky to have such wonderful employees there!

I love the Batavia monro. I dont even live in Batavia anymore and I still go there. The guys there are very nice and helpful. They always get me an appointment asap at a time that works for me. When I get there I am in and out quickly too. They are pretty reasonable at least when it comes to inspections and oil changes which is what I go most often for.
