Today was the first time in 15 years that I was slightly under-satisfied with something from Avenue Mobil. Due to a miscommunication between myself and the service tech, the wrong tires were ordered for my truck. Without hesitation, Mark and Dan sprung into action and did everything they could to get the right tires ordered as fast as possible, leaving me with only the difference in the tires to pay for. Stan and Steve only hire the best mechanics and employees in general, whose work will keep me coming back for another 15 years.

Easy to make Appointment same day, serviced oil change while you wait if so desired, diagnosed tire issues and remedied in a timely fashion. I trust the people on staff there, ownership always present to say hello. Think Local, Support Local.

I just moved to the area and came to this Mobil to get an estimate on some auto repairs. There is a large sign in front of the building that says MECHANICS AVAILABLE MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY. I made an appointment to bring my car in and have the issues looked at. I was told a diagnostic would be performed when I brought the car in. NO WHERE IS IT POSTED THAT THESE DIAGNOSTICS ARE A PAID SERVICE! ALSO, I WAS NOT TOLD AT THE TIME OF SCHEDULING THE APPOINTMENT THAT I WOULD BE CHARGED FOR THIS! Now lets discuss the estimate shall we? $695.65! For arguments sake, lets just call this $700! Seven-hundred dollars to replace to trunk struts and (from what Allen described) completely cut-out wires to even get to the POSSIBILITY that my starter might be going out. As far as I am concerned, this place has underhanded business strategies that are in place to line their pockets. Terribly experience and I will NEVER patronize this place. They do EVERYTHING for the reputation of the scamming mechanic that hands you a bag of parts and tells you how badly your car needs service. Total BS. Stay away!

I have been a friend and loyal customer at Batavia Mobil for probably 20 years. Stan, Steve, Mark, Alan, Raquel, Josh, Ed, Dan and I wish I could remember the rest of the team names. All work together to get the job done - fast, and done the right way at considerably less than dealer prices. They can do anything: engine rebuilds, engine replacements, transmission and suspension rebuilds... electrical repair, heating/cooling systems fixes. You name it. And sure - quick tire repairs and lube/oil changes as well. One more point, these people fix things whenever possible, which is not like dealerships that live in a world of diagnose/replace, which fixes the problem but hits you hard in the wallet... when many times with a little attention and ingenuity the situation can be actually fixed at far less cost than complete replacement. If you havent as yet, give this place a try. Youll find it refreshing to deal with nice, skilled and caring people. (Sounds like a commercial, I know. but stop in and check it out for yourself.)

I have been having the maintenance performed on both my cars at Batavia Mobil for just over three years. The service is fast, work is done correctly and at reasonable prices. I was even advised to wait to change the transmission fluid because it was too soon. I like to be more aggressive than the manufacturer service recommendations, but in my experience dealer service departments are overly aggressive in recommendations. Batavia Mobil does what is the right work at the appropriate intervals.

Place went downhill Overcharged me thousands of dollars over the course of 5 years. Made major mistakes to all my vehicles that caused me to return numerous times to fix again right. Overall lost lots of money and time with a lack of quality service. Rude incompetent cashiers and mechanics. Thanks for screwing my company and patrons thousands with your lack of trust and malpractice. Trust your mechanic not here. Right Stan not the man!

The work is of very good quality. They are quite honest and do not recommend any unnecessary work. They are good at explaining what the problem was and what they did. They do a good job of maintaining history of what was done in the past and use that to make appropriate suggestions. Also very friendly.

Came in unannounced and needed immediate help. I had no way to leave my truck so they diagnosed it immediately! Had answers within the hour, and they were able to repair it right away! I am a regular customer and they ALWAYS do a great job from beginning to end, explaining everything that needs to be done. Will always be a customer here !!

I have witnessed over and over again how they serve customers other than just myself -- that each and every one of them go out of their way to make sure that every customer is treated with very prompt, very exact, and very cheerful care. Where else would we find where not only they tell their customers what service needs to be done, but more importantly they tell customers what service is not necessary yet? And where else would we find the courtesy to tell us when a needed repair is under warranty, that the car dealership should take care of it, and a print out given to us to take to the dealership outlining the warranted service? With technology as it is, my warrantee remains intact with checkups by Batavia Avenue Mobil. This means I dont have to travel to the dealer and I have saved a great deal of money at the same time. A win, win situation.

The work is great, on the high side for service but never have I had to take my car back to have the issue fixed again.

We were stranded in Batavia as our car had broke down. AAA sent us to Batavia Avenue Mobile which is a family owned business and they were able to take care of us. We had to stay overnight but one of the employees gave us a recommendation and even picked us up when the car was ready. What service. I called in to arrange to drop my car off at 4:00PM for a oil change and rotation of tires. I was not able to get there till 5:30PM. Knowing that I was so late from my original appt, I would of understood that they could get to my car with all the other appts they may of had. They said that they would work me. Half hour later a got the call the my car was already done!They are very Professional and Courteous, always putting the Customer first!

They do nicely priced work, and they have a FREE AIR COMPRESSOR. Just that is enough to keep me coming back! They dont have a big convenience store though.

I have been a customer of this business for over 25 years. I have never had a problem that they did not resolve for me. Their pricing has been fair and reasonable. On several occasions they have brought me home or taken me to work when repairs were needed. Stan and his entire staff have always been courteous and respectful. They have been patient in explaining things that I did not understand about the needed repairs. On several occasions I was told that work would need to be done but that it was not necessary at the time of my inquiry.

Quick, thorough, and the mechanic was very helpful with understanding my options for maintenance.

They over change. They double the prices on parts. Ballooned labor costs. Changing parts that dont have to be changed. Charging something twice but using different terms. Im glad I checked my unsuspecting female friends invoice. $800 for a brake job??? I think the Better Business Bureau needs a call.

Broken console & tail light repaired quickly. Honest and efficient. New to their service as Ive dropped 10 years of going to the dealership. Suspension cost performed last year was $500 lower than the dealership. Ill be going back to Batavia Ave again and again!

I always go to Batavia Avenue Mobil and have been going to see Stan Oke and his staff for 25 years. They are trustworthy, helpful and technically expert. After my last visit with my Prius (New tires and rear brakes, the car runs like new, and it has 170,000 miles!

Had my car towed there through AAA- engine had overheated and fans were not running.Shop said they would take a look at the damage and give me a quote - which they did - however when I decided to go pick the car up (after declining the repair offer) - they charged me a 55$ fee for inspecting the car.This is not common in my experience when dealing with automotive shops. NTB, Midas, Firestone, etc will all give you free quotes or repair estimates.I would strongly suggest staying away from this shop.

Had to come in for the same problem many times. Spent over 1000 dollars chasing down a problem with guarantees it would fix it. After several months of frustration I went to another shop in town. Within 2 days and 200 dollars my vehicle was fixed. They also noted that many previous repairs made by the Batavia Avenue Mobile were poorly done and unnecessary. So it is either an uneducated staff or a staff who likes to rack up extra charges. Would have given 1 star but they do have quick oil changes.

For one, they dont have any area to sit down inside while your car is being serviced, so you have to stand and even the standing area is very tight. You always feel like youre in every bodies way. Unless its warm out and you can wait or walk around outside. My brother took his car here once for an oil change and the mechanics put too much oil in. He was driving home on the tollway and his car started steaming underneath the hood. He had to pull over and call for a tow truck. I took my wifes car there once because she had a leak in one of her tires and they damaged one of my calipers with that tool that they use to remove the lug nuts and couldnt get one of them back on because the caliper got stripped. Then they tried to blame it on me because I took the tire off and put her spare tire on at my house. Yet I had no trouble getting the lug nut on. It turned out that they didnt have a replacement caliper and had to order it and it was $75. They have 16 year old kids working there doing oil changes. Those kids dont know what the hell theyre doing or much less care. Stay away from this place if you dont want to get ripped and care about the well being of your car.
