Simply terrible customer service. The staff at this shop act like they are doing you a favor by just being in their presence. My 11 year old son called them and asked a few questions from the young man named Cody who works there, and he told my son he didnt answer questions over the phone, that he would have to come into the store. When my son informed him that we lived in a small town over two hours away, the person at Hobbytown, USA replied, Oh, is that one of those ghetto towns?When I spoke with him to inquire about a part, he assured me they had the part I needed. We drove the over two hours to get to the store, and he just looked at me and told me he didnt have the part! To make matters worse, he never apologized, he just stared at me with this vacant stare.I asked Cody and the older man if I could order the part online, and they told me that I could. Well, I couldnt find the part online, so I called them back to ask the part number. The older gentleman answered. I asked him if he knew the part number, that I was just in the store. He replied, No, I would have to ask Cody, who was sitting right next to him. Then, he just sat on the phone... After awhile, I said, Well, can you ask him, please? This guy actually huffed into the phone and said Yeah hold on! When Cody got on the phone, he acted like he had never spoken with me, and said Um for about five minutes. I finally just gave up with them and called the manufacturer directly.After recounting our experience with several people in the RC hobby, they have all had similar stories about this store.To sum up, if you are expecting even a basic level of knowledge or customer service, stay far away from the Hobbytown, USA in Bartlett, TN.I am a 41 year old man who has managed plants of over 300 employees, and I havent been treated this poorly EVER.

They have a lot of stuff here. I found what I was looking for and more. I did have to go to the counter and directly ask for help, but once I did they were very helpful and knowledgeable.

This is a good place they almost got every thing but not every thing and they are nice people

I have been a loyal customer os Hobbytown for over 10 years. I recently purchased a 150 dollar RC boat that was very disappointing quality and the store refused to return it. I have spent thousands of dollars with the store though the years and have never attempted to return a product until now. As a previous review stated, they are extremely rude. I am never bringing my business back to them as they refuse to give any customer service. Their concern for customer satisfaction is inexistent. Stay away!
