Usually this place is broken or the fuel pumps dont work or something doesnt work. Today everything worked and they even have a good food menu

Great place to fill up and all the other things RVs and trailers need. We wish there was s better sign though, we didnt see the RV pumps until it was too late.Ample parking, great restaurants inside and around the Travel center. Friendly staff, great selections of products, and clean.Will definitely stop in the future.

This Flying J is in the most perfect spot because it is totally surrounded by so many great restaurants! But, youll have to get here early to get a parking spot. It tends to fill up quick!

I often stop here if needed a rest when traveling to and from California. This place has gas, restroom, showers, convenient food. They have place that you can walk around a bit if you need. Spacious parking lot and friendly services. Highly recommended.

Need to be there early if you need to park, it stays pretty full. Usually pretty quiet, clean, & friendly employees. Theyre food always seems to be fresh & cooked properly. Nice place to park.

Stopped in here tonight, and let me tell you what. I thought all of the good truckstops were gone but boy was I wrong! I recieved nothing but AAA+ service tonight here. The staff was absolutely the most professional, and courteous workers that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in a Flying J. Parking lot is also nice,, and smooth with very well lit spots. The Dennys was very on point as well. Our food came out excellent, which is not very common at most locations. The waitress on duty tonight was absolutely the sweetest as well. She was also on top of everything, and anything the customers needed. I am very pleased with my visit, and will be making this my regular stop as I haul in, and out of LA every week.

Needed a meal so stopped at the Dennys and the staff was very attentive and kind. I would definitely suggest you stop by here for a good meal.

Unprofessional and so RUDE lady in front desk name NICHOLE. How even person like Nichole can work in front desk where normally you have to be nice and polite. Customers in PFJ deserves better employees. Why not to be show some politeness and put the item bought by cashier instead of: you put them yourself!!! Overcount the item by her mistake and be so RUDE??? Shame on you NICHOLE

Do your showers have any other temperature besides scalding hot? Every direction I turned the knob yielded nothing else but REALLY HOT water...

Everything is there but NO SHOELACES but you wont really miss them.....

Shower was nice. Hot and good pressure. Rarely have pilot/flying j credits, and they seem to be the nicest, most of the time.Walked in, apparently theyre letting some bum lady sleep on the floor by the arcade machines. And idk how nobody noticed her? I just glanced over there. Shoes off. Laying on a pile of scratch offs. Classy.

Something in the coffee here. This pilot / j really stands out with great people. Gabby got coffee pods for me without hesitation from their store room, and everyone else was making the most of getting through a busy day. Ruby greats everyone enthusiastically. Jonathan and Mike were powering through.Great shower and the whole nine yards. Id make sure to visit this spot when passing through.

Facility great. Everything in good repair. Landscaping looks good. Expect 15 minute wait at Cash Register because there is only one cashier on weekends. Pathetic. Plenty of traffic, no personnel on duty. Cmon, Flying Pilot! Tell your Managers to add staff or get out of the Office!

This place is located in a very strategic point, in the middle of the desert, and you can find almost all basic stuff you may need, when traveling, gasoline, diesel, water, food, some basic tools and is a safe place to stay 24 hrs !

Wow. Traveling in this time puts a lot of uncertainty and worry about stopping at high volume place like this. But every single person I encountered today (at least 4) was so warm, welcoming, helpful and accommodating! Seriously, I’ve made this trip 20+ times and stopped at so many places but my experience at this Flying J will stay with me AND secured that this will always be my stop going forward.

Flying Js has a great reputation on the road and this stop does not disappoint. The folks who work at this location are awesome. Theyre helpful, kind and I really appreciated being able to stop here.The store has everything you need. Fuel prices are great, the RV dump price is fair as well. Theyve got breakfast sandos, pizza, that charging thing you forgot and everything in-between.Thanks for being fantastic!

I had close to half a tank of fuel stolen from my truck last night. I was parked in the corner near the comfort suites.Wow have to update my review lol. Stopped in here today to buy a road pro lunchbox cooker and find out they sold me a used one that doesnt even work. Is it a common practice for pfj to repackage returns and sell them as if they are new? These stupid people at this store didnt even bother to figure out why it was returned. They just put it back on the shelf.

Great parking, clean showers. lots of different places to eat at IHOP, Del Taco, Dennys, Chipotle, Etc. Bigger than average drivers lounge.

This Flying J has a very large parking lot, but, surprisingly, inside, it is quaint, and clean. The floor plan is set up so you can have a very nice shopping experience, without feeling like you are in someone elses way! Also, offering a laundry mat, theres not much else to be desired. It is also wheelchair friendly!

This is one of the best places to stop with an RV usually have the best gas prices. Yeah I understand theres propane fill available. And then they have a self using dump station. And generally speaking they have a restaurant. Cant go wrong with a stop here.

Ill always recommend a flying J. Theyre usually great people that know whats going on and can answer pretty much any question you have whether its about the local area or in store. The reason for only 4 stars is the bathroom floor was sticky when I went to use it. (The public one not the lounge one.) The lounge is always great. You meet some great people, and theres always some pretty cool stories.

For the most part I had a great experience there. A clean store and friendly atmosphere. Then, this morning when I getting some coffee, I overheard a few associates making fun of, and loudly laughing at, a customer. This ruined my experience. Two ladies in red shirts and one in a black sweater with a clipboard lost this store my business.

On my way to and from my travels this is the one stop that I like to make although there are other choices on the same exit of the highway I prefer the Flying J Travel Center because it is clean the air conditioner is always working if you happen to be hungry there is a Dennys right in the same location and usually the cashiers are very friendly. The merchandise is generally in order and categories on which the atoms are arranged are placed making perfect sense they have snacks available theres a soda fountain machine as well as regular bottled or canned drinks theres Pizza and of course gas for the truck drivers they also have showers so pretty much this is your One Stop Shop for a quick recuperation from driving rest and it is always open. The next time youre in this area I recommend you give it a try I personally prefer it then the other options meaning gas stations that have conveniences on this particular exit every time I pass here I stopped here its well worth it.

Bathrooms could be a little cleaner, but its a better spot to gas up and stretch your legs than the other gas stations right off the highway in Barstow. Gas was SIXTY cents a gallon cheaper than the Shell. Decent coffee bar. Lots of snacks and convenience store food.

Store is clean, but the cashier refused to wear a mask (Marlene) despite all of the signs that said they were required.

Flying J travel centers are always the best when traveling. They are clean and staff is nice and helpful. I feel safe if I am resting for a while in my truck there. They have a good assortment of items you may need while traveling and the food areas are well stocked and fresh. I recommend any flying j truckstop when you travel..look for one there are everywhere.

I love this Flying J.GB it is always clean. They have an RV dump and potable water at the RV island. The only drawback I have experienced are the people that block the RV island with their cars. I wish the staff was more vigilant about asking car drivers or vehicles that arent towing anything or that arent motorhomes to not get gas or park at the RV island.

Better gas prices traveling between CA to AZ. Clean bathrooms, good strong coffee, ice, drinks and snacks. We have stopped here many times in our travels between AZ and CA. When Im traveling alone, it is a safer option. It is always busy with travelers.

Beautifully clean with fresh looking food. A little pricey but it is California. So many food places around too. A great place for a 10hr or even a 34hr break if youre an over the road driver.

Its a pretty good truck stop as far as flying Js go. Good spot to do a 34 good spot to get a shower. Across the street from the blue beacon. In my opinion the best blue beacon in the country. They also have towel-dry. But they usually will not let me leave until I am happy with my truck being clean. A lot of other blue beacons just try to push you out the door. As for the flying J the people that work in there pretty cool never had really anything to complain about about this place.

Absolutely love the staff at the fuel desk. The girls that work there are amazing! Helpful and friendly. We make it a daily stop if we are in the area. Also, try the pizza!!! Its surprisingly good!!!

Employees are rude. Bathrooms are gross. Store is a mess.

Who doesnt like a truck stop

So far nice parking and area. Couple of issue with shower that I had. Got into the shower and the toilet had not been cleaned or just not flushed and the emergency light above the entry door is not in the right way and is broke.

Very nice stop after a long drive. Plenty of food/drink selection, restaurants nearby, hotel nearby, ideal spot for a 34. Plenty of parking and pumps, all within reasonable distance of the store. Only complaint would have to be the restroom. Very dirty, with overfilled trash bins, and full toilets. Could do better with the cleaning crew.

We drive a bug bunk truck and this is perfect. They have some good reserved parking that we can fit in. They have an RV dump as well but one of the reasons that this place is great is the help. Wendy is always very busy but she takes care if her customers. She tries to keep the lines moving and fuel lanes rolling.

Its good when the night manager kicks the homeless out. But then when she goes home they just come back in because day shift says well they need someplace to go also. Im a paying customer and deserve a place where I am not harrassed for my hard earned money. Day shift management here sucks

One of the Oasis of the High Desert. A great to unwind, refuel, bathroom breaks, Dennys Restaurant is available. Snacks galore. And, as far as gas prices go. One of the best in the Barstow area. Close to other nice restaurants, nice hotels and Outlet mall.

Clean, nice restrooms has anything you could need or want while traveling and the staff was so friendly. The cashier was very personable and I left with a good impression. But to be honest even if the place had been messy her customer service would be enough to make me come back.

Friendly, comfortable, free ice. Good food but pricy. Hot showere, no hair drier. Fresh ground, fresh coffee. Smells good when you walk through the door.

I was traveling on the Mega bus going to Vegas at about 2;30am it was okay restrooms were really clean I appreciate that thanks that means a lot especially how they used to keep them great improvement

Nothing really negative to say about this Flying J. The RV Lanes are easy to get in and out of, but they were jammed with campers dumping their tanks on MLK day. I would rather see the dump and propane separate from the fueling Lanes. I was still able to fuel easily using the regular Lanes. One addition I would like to see is longer hoses so you can fuel from either side. Other than that the facility was clean and the staff courteous.

Great prices on gas, over 60 cents per gallon cheaper than the Shell station across the street. The inside is bright and sparkling clean, with a huge array of snack foods and drinks. Bathroom clean and well maintained. Even the squeegies to clean the car windows are in great shape. This is a great place to stop!

One of the cashier ladies (younger one)She helped me cash an efs check and brought me food. I feel she deserves great recognition, as I was watching her operate 2 cash registers with inconsiderate people swarming around her trying to get their items purchased first.I am a patient person, so I have no worries.She is is very well mannered person and shows outstanding happiness, with absolute no stress expressed I was blown away. The overall experience made me feel truly welcome, and for that I strongly feel her customer service experience was too notch excellent, I hope that flying j is taking great care of her for employment along with seeing her as an asset to the company, we as drivers need more people who are happy and show they care about us. And the pilot / flying j franchise needs more employees like this.

Forget gas stations. This is the place to go. Lower prices for gas. A pump is always available. The windshield cleaning fluid is high quality. Dissolves bugs. Two sets of Clean restrooms. Large store. Only negative is that sometimes the line to pay is long. In that case, pay at the pump for gas. The staff laughs at my jokes. (I guess the company pays them extra to do it. 😉)

Great Flying J. Really great staff, always friendly and in a good mood. Nice, clean showers with really hot water. Store is always clean and well stocked. Theres a Dennys inside, but plenty of restaurants across the street.

Im not a trucker, so I cant say anything about those services. But I can get in and get out of here pretty quickly. Large selection of snacks and drinks. Restrooms are usually pretty clean. Grass around the gas station for your pups.

Spell my company name wrong on my fuel receipts way too often! Then tell me theres nothing they can do about it! I know spelling is not a priority in this country anymore & everyone treats you like youre a jerk when you try to correct them but jeez I only spend around $50,000 a year with Flying J jeez!Have some intelligence & care a little more people, thats the only thing that will really make this country great again!

The only thing good worth mentioning is the new fuel pumps. The place is a Disaster. No breakfast foods& no cream for the coffee.

They are AWESOME!! We were on a road trip and my daughter left her phone in the bathroom. We didnt realize it until we were two states away. Someone turned it in and Flying J mailed it to us!! Thank you!!!!

Was very loud. A LOT of people were watching some soccer game and being very very loud. They thought they were outside I guess. Most of the people were not truck drivers. I thought the “Drivers Lounge” was for professional drivers only but I guess not. When a cashier received a complaint about the noise, his response was that is how soccer fans are. To me that is the wrong response. It should have been addressed. You could hear them yelling and screaming in Denny’s on the other side of the building. As a driver I shouldn’t have to push my way through people to get to the laundry room or a shower. No excuse!

It has been a while since we have been through here. Nice size center plenty of parking. The store was good. plenty to do if you stop here. Restrooms were good.

Avoid ordering the pot roast from the hot box. I got 20 miles down the road and found that what I got for $6.99 was one tiny (only took up half of the fork) piece of roast and a ton of potatoes.

We stop here every time we travel to / from Cali / Nevada.Bathrooms are always clean and you can always find the drink and snack youre craving! And they have so much more to make the road trips a bit easier!

This place is clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. Food appeared/tasted fresh. Police were through the lot on a regular basis as we had stopped for the night. Very RV friendly.

It was cool. Met up with a friend there. It was clean. Employees I encountered were nice.

Ive always kinda avoided this place due to it being highly over crowded. However the other night I decided to brave the parking lot and find a spot for a quick shower.To my surprise I was able find a spot, and they had several open showers. Now I know what your thinking. ( A shower ??? In California ??? Nasty !!! ) but it actually was very clean. Whoever the cleaner was that night deserves a raise. The shower was clean and the water was very hot. ( Which is a problem at A lot of truck stops. )After my shower, I purchased some food at the Dennys then went to bed.The next day it was the usual. Dis-respectful, drivers parking everywhere and sitting in the fuel aisles. But hey, atleast this flying J was clean.

This travelers station is one of my favorites, its very neat, well kept up, safe for me and my kids. I love the store layout its got Something for everybody.

Have nothing bad to say about this location. The parking lot is huge and very spacious. Lots of room for trucks. Restrooms were very clean. I did have a problem with the shower but the staff quickly rectified the problem and apologized. There is an outlet located across the street and lots of places to eat. Staff always greets you when you walk in and its an overall pleasant visit. They have restrooms by the showers and the Dennys for customers convenience.

Nice clean Place will definitely visit again good for fueling up and grabbing a quick snack or you can head over Dennys

Dennys is fine to eat at. They need more help so people dont have to wait so long to be seated. Travelers be aware if on a time schedule, go somewhere else. Otherwise relax and gave a Dennys meal.

5 out of 5 stars! - If I had to be picky and mention something that slightly bothers me about the Barstow Flying J, it would be the panhandlers and crowded lot after 4pm. Both, by the way, have nothing to do with the Flying J staff, which are very hard working, kind and considerate. I would even go out of my way, and sometimes a little out of route, just to get a truck wash, shower and hot chow before mozyin on down the road. You guys are great and I would hate my job even more if it wasnt for you Guys. Keep it up! =)

This place Is amazing. The food is a bit on the pricy side but the coffee is cheap and phenomenal in taste! I go here every morning just to have a big cup of Joe everyday. The company allows civilians to use the shower for just a $12 dollar fee. Also, the workers are on point with both services and reputation. The truckers mind their business and the general public show proper etiquette. I love this place!

Easy to find parking 99 % of the time they have empty spaces.

$151 hold for any gas purchase! This place used to be my go-to stopover, but no longer since the holds have skyrocketed. There are plenty of other stations that dont have such crazy policies.

The blonde short haired manager here almost ran my wife and 7 yr old daughter over with a stocking cart. Huffed at them 2 other workers brushed passed like we were in their way by simply trying to buy things we get to the cash register another worker a man yelled angrily that he will take the next customer the woman we chose was the only nice 1 inside the ground keeper outside was good jokes around and was overall pleasant. Yall need to be retrained if you cant be nice to customers maybe get into web design so you dont have to see other people!
