The experience was very easy. Dean Dimitri messaged me and sent me additional videos to answer questions before we drove the two hours to the dealership. They had a great price on the vehicle we wanted and gave us a great trade in price. Do not trust anything you are told here, THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE.First and foremost I would like to say that the showroom here is absolutely amazing. They have some quality cars. Unfortunately, the service that is provided is less so. I can only speak to my experience buying a used vehicle here from John Greg... (salesman). We saw the car online and agreed to go pick up it, even gave our credit card the day before so they can get deposit. Once we go there to pick up the car we saw underwear in the backseat of the car. and a lighter. The car smelled of very heavy marijuana smell. We were told the car had gone through a deep cleaning and even shown a receipt of a zurich protection/cleaning that they had done on the car. Secondly, we wanted to avoid cars from auctions. We asked multiple times about the car and were told multiple times it was a trade-in. Once we got the keys of the car they had a tag from an auction house (which also makes sense since car was from KY so it was a bit strange that it would be traded in IL). Avoid this place as they will lie directly to your face.

Easy to work with on price and trade-in, no BS, no salesman tactics a great experience. Im taking off one star as the PDi on the car could have been better, there was residue on the paintwork, the clock was hours off, tire pressures varied by 4psi, also no product specialists were available to go over the car and MBUX system with me. Lastly I was promised a full tank of gas and they did not fill it up.Despite the minor issues I would return and buy again, I would also recommend Mercedes-Benz of Barrington to family and friends.

This place is great in all means! Chris was my salesperson and he was communicating with me through text messaging very efficiently. I’m an out of state buyer and I found the car on their website on a Thursday morning. The car was reserved for me by the same afternoon and all financing and paperwork was ready for me to sign. Friday was New Year’s Day and they were closed, so I booked my flight for Saturday morning. I stepped in to the dealership at 10:10am and took a test drive, had great chat with Chris, signed the papers, refilled my coffee, and left with my new car around 11:30am! I’m so pleased with their communication and service. This was the best car buying experience for me out of 10 purchases I’ve made in the last 7 years. The car was a CPO and it was in outstanding condition looking like a new car. They have high standards in quality, relationship and service. I’m glad I got to meet with Chris and I thank everyone at this dealership.By the way, their dealer/doc fees are the lowest I have ever seen. You can certainly get a great deal at this dealership!

My 2011 Mercedes E550 developed a mystery vibration. The first diagnosis and initial repair unfortunately turned out to be wrong. Motorwerks took up the challenge and exhaustively checked every possibility. The process took several weeks, with some dead ends but ultimately the source of the problem was discovered and the problem solved. Despite the investment in time and parts, the final financial outcome was very fair.I was updated every step of the way and received a follow up call to make sure everything was as it should be.Any shop can fix a routine problem but it needed the experience and the expertise of Motorwerks to solve this one

Ive had all of my auto services performed at MotorWerks for the past five years and my service advisor is John Laskowski. John is fantastic to work with and follows up quickly on inquiries and requests.Scheduling service appointments with a loaner vehicle is a very simple process and checking into appointments is easy as well. Im always very pleased with the loaner vehicle program and Im usually in and out within twenty minutes. I have interacted or worked with most of the advisors at times when I had to pick up my vehicle when John had left for the day or was on vacation, and theyve all been professional and a pleasure to deal with.The bottom line, I have peace of mind servicing my vehicle here and I trust my advisor as well as the experienced MB certified technicians. Ive encountered very few problems during services, and when small issues did arise, John and the team handled them quickly and in a very satisfactory way for me. I recently had service done at MotorWerks in Barrington.Stephen Rogers was my service agent. Stephen did an outstanding job listening to my concerns and looking into what was causing my problems. He communicated with me throughout the day and was easy to get ahold of when I had questions. My vehicle ended up having to stay a couple days because of a part they had to order and Stephen made sure my vehicle was secured for that time. When I was able to pick it up the cost was exactly as Stephen had quoted, no hidden fees or service fees. On a scale of 1-10 I give Stephen a 10 for his knowledge and customer service. Carly is very knowledgeable about Mercedes and was great about walking us thru all the features in our new GLB. *this was originally written on my ride home from the dealership.**After arriving home I notice the plastic part on the passenger side fender is off and bent back. I immediately text Carly, she said they want the car back asap to look at it. They have my car for 3 days, part gets replaced, I get the car back, then notice the bottom clip is still not clipped in and wont clip, part is not aligned correctly. They take the car back again, have it for a day bring it back, the specialist that brings is back to me says its as good as it will get This is unacceptable for a brand new car. I reach out via email to managers and Carly, hear nothing back. Then while on vacation I get a text saying my car is scheduled for service. No call nothing, just a text. I reply saying I am out of town for another week and they say Ill have to reschedule when I return. Get back, speak with Carly and she claims it will be picked up and scheduled on Monday. Monday I get a call from someone different telling me I wasnt scheduled for anything, she is scheduling it now and no availability for 10 days. I have now had a new car for over a month with a issue they cant seem to fix and they obviously have a serious issue communicating with customers.My advise, if you buy here, THOROUGHLY inspect your vehicle before leaving the lot.

I worked with Joe Sparta on getting my daughter a used GLE 350. The experience and his customer service were outstanding. Being new to this vehicle, he gave me a rundown of the car along with a few pointers. After inspecting the car, we noticed that one of the floor mats were missing, so Joe gave us brand new ones of our choice for free. The day before I purchased a car from Ken at Motor Werks, I had tried to buy one from a different dealership. The experience was night and day. Where the other dealership tried to force me to buy a protection plan on a car that didnt need it, Ken at Mercedes Benz of Barrington listened to what I wanted and got out of the way. I ended up driving off with a used Tesla Model 3 Performance at a fair price and without all of the headaches other places add to the car buying experience. I dont know why I didnt go to him first. I purchased my C43 at Motor Werks Honda about a month ago now. Looking back at the experience, I can’t say it was great one. The whole experience really tried my patience. Maybe I would’ve gotten a better experience if I just had gone straight to the Mercedes side. The person that stopped me from going to a different Mercedes dealership for service was Sylvia Drwila at the Mercedes service department. Sylvia renewed my trust on the Motor Werks brand with her honesty and efficiency. She was very upfront and straightforward with her answers to my questions. Sylvia responds to my text messages really quickly which I truly appreciate. Because of the excellent customer service I have received from Sylvia I actually wouldn’t mind buying another car from Motor Werks but straight to the Mercedes dealership. Five stars for Sylvia.

Great experience, excellent service.I was looking to buy a new glc 300. None of the available inventories at various dealerships I looked at, did have exactly what I needed. When I met Gabriele at Mercedes-Benz of Barrington, he understood my requirements patiently and suggested to go for a new build. That was the first thing that I really liked about this dealership and Gabrielle in particular. In my previous visits at some other dealerships, I felt they were more interested in selling their available inventory rather than focusing on my needs and working towards meeting what I needed (I don’t mean they were not good or were unprofessional but still they didn’t seem enthusiastic towards ordering a build). I ordered a new GLC after Gabrielle gave me a good price and details of what the process and timeline would be like. He made it clear how much time would it take to get the new car ready to be picked up and provided status updates as and when I asked. The car arrived exactly around the expected time with all the build options I had selected. There were no hidden costs, no false promises. The Finance Manager gave me a good interest-rate beating what my bank had Pre approved.I don’t write reviews generally, this is in fact the first detailed review I have done and that’s because I really liked the service and wanted to leave a note of Thanks. I was looking for a 2021 GLC 300 Coupe and they responded. They worked with me through the entire process. They got me everything I wanted on the vehicle. I worked with a young lady Carly and she was amazing. No matter how many questions I had, she would always respond with eagerness. They kept me updated about its arrival every step of the way. When I saw the car, I literally fell in love with it. Once, I got there to pick it up everyone was so nice and accommodating. Austin was the guy responsible for showing me everything this car could do. He went over every inch of what this car was capable of. He took his time and didnt rush us at all. He gave us time to ask questions and he responded with correct answers. There wasnt anything I asked that he wasnt familiar with. I would definitely recommend this dealership to all my friends and family.

There is a reason I drive by 3 other MB area dealers and go 25 miles to MW of Barrington, in part because this is where we purchased from. MW represent the best of service and quality. We took our GLC in for service A today. The dealer recommended service A was $1,160. However, those recommended dealer service items were not Mercedes Benz recommended. Fuel injector cleaning, oil conditioning, coolant conditioning, etc. were all dealer service mark ups. Once we removed these unessential items along with a few other things because our car was not yet at the mileage interval to warrant certain services, our bill for today was only $349. Look out for these unnecessary items and save yourself some money.

She came all the way out to Sycamore to pick me up since my Mini would not start. Everyone was courteous and had their mask on. I had a good experience purchasing a used Mercedes Benz GLS 63 at Motor werks of Berrington. Chris J, from the sales team, and Tony, from finance, were excellent. It was my first time purchasing a vehicle 100% via internet. The vehicle was as described online. Chris was very patient, professional and understood all that I needed. He even video and took detailed pictures of the car upon my request.4 stars because they are aware of delay in internet purchase policy and procedures which Chris promised that they are in the process of working on digital signage and digital ID mechanism. Also online customers are somehow treated with less priority as the shop is busy with foot traffic. I called back few times before being assigned a sales person. My experience was smooth there on.Overall I am happy with my purchase and will buy again.

After nightmare of working with Jidd Motors last year I was happy to have complete opposite experience with Werks. Tim was helpful when car I came for was gone by time I arrived, helped get me into a different car. Loan process was easy, they offer packages but dont force them down your throat. Also like having someone give you a run through of all great updates my car has. Only complaint is I wish they had the front license plate available when I got car, its supposed to get mailed to me but I doubt I will be able to put it on myself so will have to drive back to get it added.
