Portland Glass tackled a very complex and thorny project for me in a professional, thorough and complete fashion. They did a fine job under difficult circumstances. I would highly recommend them.

I had 3 closet systems installed in my house. Brian at Portland Glass is really great to work with. He is friendly and professional and knows his product well. He was able to provide me with design options to choose from. When the day came for installation Brian and his co-worker wore protective foot gear and placed drop cloths down to protect our floors. They cleaned up after themselves. I am really impressed with the service I received and I love my closets. The product is sturdy and installed well. Never got a quote. Had guys out in February to measure for 6 new windows. Nice guys. Never got the quote. Called 4X to follow up, kept getting we send it out for the quote. Got several Well check on it and call you back Never got a call back. Its April- no quote and certainly not going to chase a company to try to give it my business.

I emailed Portland Glass for an estimate and they were pretty quick to get me scheduled to have their guys out. They came out took measurements for three single pane window repairs, and two window replacements. That was over a month ago now. Ive emailed and called, and only get excuses on why I have no completed estimate. Ive been told theyd look into my estimate and get back to, only to have no one call me back. If I have to call repeatedly and email repeatedly to even find out what they charge, then i am going to find business elsewhere.EDIT: The company has reached out to me, and we are working on a solution, I appreciate the time and effect they are putting out to fix this situation.

Did you know that Portland Glass offers another service? When I went in to get a piece of glass cut, I noticed a small area that advertised closets and shelving services. I picked up the brochure and ask the manager about it. He explained that they did indeed have available a representative who would come, assess the design, measure and give an estimate. I’ve wanted to explore designs that would better organize space and function so I called and made an appointment with Brian Lalime. As promised, he made a home visit, assessed our needs, we tweaked the plan, and yesterday he completed installation in three closets. I am so happy with the End result!!!!! Brian is so personable, got right back to me, helped me explore options, listened, and did excellent work. So here a shout out to those who want better functioning closets. It can be done!!!! Thank you Portland Glass and thank you Brian. It was a pleasure meeting and working with you!!!!

This place is amazing!!! My rear view mirror came off during my drive when I tried adjusting it, taking part of my windshield with it. I drove in a bit stressed and one of the employees noticed it immediately before I had even entered the shop. He fixed it right away for me without charge. He wouldnt even accept a tip!!This type of service is non-existent these days and its the small gestures like this that will have me recommending Portland Glass of Barre again and again!!Thank you so much for your service!! I had reached out to several companies to try and get a weird size of window replaced on our house, which was broken when we bought it (kids and their baseballs!)No one had the correct size, and other companies offered me different sized windows instead... which was strange to me. I ended up reaching out to Portland Glass (I did have to call, online submission form did not work). They came out, measured, and put the order in. There were issues with the first window that came in, but they quickly ordered a new one and were able to fit me in when they had a cancellation.The new window looks great, and they were super professional. The delivery guys even offered to help me put my air conditioner back in.

The workers are professional and do a great job.

Have worked with them over the years, alway get a professional job, even with challenging projects.

There fast & efficient....

The only place that would even look at my windshield due to the age of my car. Quote was reasonable, and they ended up doing it for $100+ less than that. In addition they were efficient and professional and I will go there again every time.

They got our 2004 Mazda 6s rear wind screen installed in 2 hours, it was very fast and they did an outstanding job, but we did ask what the price would be for the drivers side mirror and they said they would find out soon and they would notify us but they have not yet, and we put a down payment on the mirror and we havent got it replaced. but overall go there if you want your windshield or rear wind screen done quick.

They were very well priced but the quality of the work was very poor. There is a crack in the new windshield and they messed up the molding around the windshield. Not very happy with the quality of work done.

Setup meeting for estimate on replacing all my windows at my residence. Unfortunately they didn’t show or call me. I called 30 minutes after my schedule time to check in, and still didn’t get a call back. Guess I will move onto the next company.

Youd think this place was in some other business. More than seven weeks after attempting to get my windshield replaced, it still isnt done (been waiting for these folks to order it). Was told Brittany would call - after I stopped into the place to see what the hold up was - and she never did. Two weeks ago spoke with someone who said they were just ordering it... today, I asked my insurance company to find me a new place. This was unbelievably disgusting. And I will never recommend this place to anyone.
