SUCH a great idea, they offer complementary tea and had flights of cheese cake options which I loved since I wanted to try a little bit of everything

Cheesecake was very light and flavorful. We were greeted and offered complimentary tea while we were waiting for our order! Definitely a must visit place in Bar Harbor! Would definitely come back here!

We loved this place. The 3 small bites you can try was a perfect way to try a few different cheesecakes. The pistachio was my husbands favorite along with the coconut cream. My daughter ordered a 4 inch and it was enough to share.We highly recommend this place. The staff was friendly.

Delicious cheesecake. If you order a flight, you get a sampling of 3 flavors of you choosing. They only serve wine, which seem mostly local. No beer or other alcoholic options. The staff/owners are wonderful hosts.

Absolutely adored our time here! The wine was delicious (with sweet options for my palette, and dryer for my mother and aunt), adorable little cheesecake flights with so many flavors to choose from, and at a great price point. Complementary pineapple and hot tea as soon as we arrived, and outdoor heaters to ward off the October chill on the patio. Great location too, at the edge of the hustle and bustle so it felt very relaxed compared to the rest of Bar Harbor. Would absolutely seek this place out on a return trip.

This place was absolutely amazing. Great service. Roy was such a nice person to me and my girlfriend when we decided to go. The 3 cheesecakes for $5 was the best bang for your buck! The main moose was my favorite and my girlfriends was the sea salt caramel. I would go back every-time I go back to St. Augustine.

Wow, cheesecake and wine what more is there to say!! There were so many flavors to choose from. It is light not heavy and dense. Sraff was friendly and very helpful and patient, it takes some time with all the flavors. She helped us pick out the right bottle of wine to go with it too. We got it to go, it comes packaged with a cute little fork. It was delicious.

This place is a hidden gem. Their staff is so polite and helpful! Menu options are incredible whether you’re looking for cheesecakes or more charcuterie style plates. The fact that they do cheesecake flights is so fun and great for anyone who is indecisive and wants to try a few of their delicious flavors! Highly recommend and I don’t really write reviews often so that means something.

This place was incredibly decedent and delicious! You have to get a flight of cheesecake and try a bunch of different flavors! Eric and Thadeus hosted us well and gave us a brief history of Bar Harbor Cheesecake Co. The customer service, food and vibe were all world class. If youre in Bar Harbor you wont want to leave without visiting here first!

Awesome little dessert stop! The chairs inside were so comfortable, the cheesecake flights and 4” round were a great bang for the buck, and staff was friendly and kept service great. We didn’t love the wines we tried but boy did we LOVE the chocolatey and fruity cheesecakes we chose. We’re so glad we didn’t just stop for ice cream!

This place is a jem. Cheese cake, so good (my favorite was the pumpkin praline), wine slushes for the win ~ really loved the blueberry pomegranate one! They were very accommodating when I wanted a cheese board with no meat. The server was very nice and I will reccomed everyone to go there! And I love that the hours are from 11:11 to 11:11. Its a great late night quite atmosphere thats not a loud bar. Love it ♥️

Amazing place for wine and dessert. Wine you get here is sweet wine and you can try 3 for 5 bucks. Dessert - its amazing selection of cheesecakes. You can try 3 for 5 bucks.The place is owned by 19 folks, I think, who also serve. They are genuinely nice people and want to make sure you have a good experience.Highly recommend it for dessert post a meal at Havana or McKays.

Love this place!! The flights of cheesecakes are AMAZING! The wines are great too and the truffles just melt in your mouth. In one trip to Bar Harbor came here twice and wouldve come a third time if we stayed in town longer. Must try this place!!

Loved this place. The 4 cheesecakes are a perfect size in my opinion and they come with their own little spoons! I had carrot cake and monster cookie, both awesome. The people running the place were also very nice.Update: also had the key lime, probably my favorite of the three I tried, 10/10 would recommend.

Loved this place! Had a hummus sampler, and the jalapeño bacon cream papperdelle and the meatballs (the entree portions are GIGANTIC, we’ll have leftovers for at least 2 days) and got a cheesecake sampler. Would definitely come again!

My wife and I came across this restaurant after walking the shore path around Bar Harbor. Their selection of cheesecake is amazing. We each did a cheesecake sampler plate and they knocked it out of the park--delicious! Both employees we interacted with were the nicest guys in the world and genuinely cared about a nice experience. This place seems a little of the beaten path but would highly recommend. Wish we had more time during our stay to go back. Hopefully well see you guys build a location in Colorado in the near future!

The cheesecake is to die for. We had the new York cheesecake and Ive never had such a perfect slice in my entire life. Staff is so friendly, and the location is lovely! And theyre open late, so you can get your evening sugar fix. They also do truffles, cheese plates, and charcuterie boards. A+ establishment

We bought the triple chocolate cheesecake and before we left Bar Harbor we went back and bought the white chocolate raspberry and 2 truffles. Yummy.

The banana foster cheesecake is out of this world amazing! The owners and staff were such great people. Plan to have some extra time as it can take a while, but it’s a fun place to relax and enjoy with friends.

We stopped by for a dessert and loved it! The cake bits are great to share. We liked everything we tried.

I very much enjoyed this stop on our visit to Bar Harbor. It was a very quaint and peaceful rest from the busy surrounding area. William and his wife were very friendly and helpful and the cheesecake was amazing !!! I highly recommend a visit.

A bit overpriced but the selection is very large and all 4 that I tried were very good.

Got a piece of piece of key lime pie cheesecake to go. Once at the hotel opened it and took one bite. That was all it took to throw it in the trash and wish I had my $12 back. I’m not sure how it was made but it was mealy and tasted like it was made with chemicals

We needed a wheelchair wheel replaced and although they dont normally service them, they were able to put together a functional wheel. Only thing they didnt have was a bolt to attach it to. Now the wheelchair can survive hikes in Acadia! Saved our vacation and if I could rate them 6/5 I would.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. My husband and I agree this is one of the highlights to our trip in St. Augustine. Every cheesecake sample was absolutely delicious. The wine was wonderful too! The prices are very reasonable for the experience. If I could rate it 10 stars I would!

A very lumpy and overpriced 4” cheesecake.Taste was okay but it felt like this had been sitting in the fridge for days before we picked it up.Soggy crust and average tasteDid I mention overpriced? $12 for a 4” cheesecake.Dont want to leave bad reviews for local eateries but so far this was a big disappointment.

Everyone we interacted with was friendly but the service was extremely slow. We went when the weather was not so nice (cold and rainy) just to have a wine tasting and some cheesecake while we waited for a reservation at another restaurant for dinner. The heaters on the deck we were sat at were not turned on until 20 min after we arrived. We were given ice water pretty much right away but a server took 10 min to bring food menus and we didnt get the wine menus so we asked for them and decided on the cheesecake tasting we wanted and waited. We got our wine menus and we waited. By this point weve been sitting in the cold for 35 min and she brings our cheesecake tasting. She forgot to take our wine order. We eneded up eating our cheesecake (which was overly sweet, artificially flavored, and too soft textured) and getting up from the table to find our waitress to pay. Longest time Ive spent spending $5.26

Great taste! Definitely one of the best cheesecakes i’ve ever had. I ordered the strawberry banana. The people there are also really nice. The cheesecake texture is perfect and the presentation is also good. One of the guys there told me they were high in protein and low in sugar. I hope its true. Definitely recommend!

Wow, what an incredible find this was. Unbelievable cheesecake, very good and fresh cinnamon rolls, beautiful decor and ambiance, wonderful service, wine slushies, and the European Cheese Board was delightful and HUGE!

Wow, what a great find! My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place while looking for late-night ice cream, but this was way better. Our waitress was extensively knowledgeable about both cheesecake and wine and helped us make the right selections for our tastes. The fruity, sweet wines paired perfectly with the unique, sweet cheesecake flavors. The decor is quirky and charming - the perfect setting for a perfect dessert!

We stumbled upon this place by accident. We were waiting to dine at another restaurant and thought why not start with dessert first. It was the right decision. We enjoyed the cheesecake samples as well as the wine. The windows were open and it was the perfect atmosphere.We chose to come back for dinner on a different day for our anniversary. The serving staff was friendly and accommodating. Dinner here is not a rushed experience, which is a nice change of pace while on vacation. The bacon scallops were superb. Both our entrees were delicious (spaghetti w/meatballs and walleye.) We followed dinner up with the maple bacon cheesecake. To say it was delicious is quite the understatement. We thoroughly enjoyed our experiences.

This is a fabulous place! We just happened by and stopped. You can sample a number of delicious varieties of cheesecake on a plate. They are all handmade by the staff. The staff is so knowledgeable and friendly. Stop by!

Delightful wines and extremely welcoming.

Friendly staff, greeted and seated quickly. Just stopped in for a late night dessert and the 3 mini cheesecakes were delicious. I did not eat all 3, I had help. A little further from the harbor but easier parking and worth the extra time.

Food was great, pricey but large portions. The staff is so nice. The wine was DISGUSTING! They are all sweet, even the “dry” wines and they mostly taste like cough medicine. Overheard the people behind us also saying the wine was bad - should have listened to them before ordering 3 flavors (one worse than the next) Cheesecake was to die for, would definitely recommend the tasting, so hard to choose just one flavor - it’s a good deal and the cheesecake is filling.

The staff loves what they do and are informed on every last thing on the menu. They are a joy to talk to. The cheese cake is incredible and is at a very affordable price. Best cheesecake Ive ever had! So many delicious flavors and loved that they were made with real fruits and foods! Loved the sampler options for both cheesecakes and wine. The family who operates it is sooo sweet and helpful. You dont want to miss this place, its as much about the experience as it is about the DELICIOUS cheesecake!

The wine sampler was good and the charcuterie board was fine, but we waited an hour and a half to be able to order cheesecake. We then waited another 20 minutes for the cheesecake. It was delicious, but a lot of time wasted waiting on someone to even come into our room, even for other diners. I would only recommend for people who have an extremely long amount of time to spare.

This place is incredible! Tons of cheesecake and wine choices and great prices. Here for a couple more days and were already planning on coming back for great sounding meals. Spectacular service and hospitality by our waitress and the host. Highly recommend this place!

My boyfriend and I had a great date night here. As soon as we got through the door we were greeted with a wonderful host who gave us a tour of the first floor and made us feel very welcomed. Already we were loving this place! Our server was attentive and very sweet. There was another gentleman who served our wine who was also very attentive and kind. You could honestly tell everyone that works there cares about their job and the guests experience. Cheesecakes were presented so clean and fun (and were delicious)! Great wine selection as well. Witches Brew was our favorite (we couldn’t resist buying a bottle)!! Thank you guys for making our night. We will be back again!

One of the best meals Ive had, period. We found this place by accident because all of the other restaurants had insane waiting times. They started us off by giving us a short tour of the building, then seated us for a truly phenomenal dinner. The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious -- and the staff was great with my food allergies. Dont be fooled by the name - this place is much more than a cheesecake company!

Bar Harbor Cheesecake Co was everything you think and expect it to be. After being in the industry for years, we are picky with restaurants, and expect a level of sophistication when dining for things like birthdays, anniversary (like we did here) etc. Bar Harbor Cheesecake Co blew me away. First we had a 3 piece wine flight, then charcuterie board, then entrees (Mahi and Lamb Chops), finished with a key lime and Carmel truffle, 3 piece cheesecake tasting (turtle, blueberry lemon- which we got to go, and pistachio) and two glasses of merlot. Everything here is eclectic. the silverware is black and gold, the platting had gold filigree and Indian style patterns on them. Our waitress Amanda, one of the 19 owners, gave us the tour and was very informative. The Mahi, although portioned small, was cooked perfectly. The lamb was not overdone and very tender. And the cheesecake was to die for.A few recommendations that I would say is that they have a lot of sweet wines on their menu which are described as dessert wines. This is great! They started off as a dessert place, but I would suggest getting some more dry wines, red wines, etc. Their entrees are also almost all served with a starch and you have to get a vegetable as an “add on.” I am not sure why this is, as it is usually the other way around. I would have liked to have had a vegetable and add on a starch, but I do have to say the bacon Brussel sprouts were good. The charcuterie board was good, although there were just some “lunch meat” type meats on there that weren’t great (almost like pre cut slices you’d have at a sports party). For the price of the boards it would have been nice to have a bigger portion of the Gouda / soft Swiss. that being said, the dips on the board were delicious!They are new, so there is always room for improvement. But they did great. They were basically reservation only, and my husband and I spent about 2 hours there. It was not rushed, it was not crowded, they had empty seating but didn’t overpack the rooms so we could actually enjoy a romantic dinner.

I had blueberry lemon and apple pie cheesecake to go. Both are too sweet and most importantly, the cakes are missing the taste of key ingredient, cheese. Texture isn’t firm enough like cheesecakes from Junior and Cheesecake Factory. Compared to the Japanese and Korean cheesecake, this is like 1 star.

We left without eating. After 15 minutes of waiting at our table for service, we simply walked out.

Awesome menu. I was not expecting the ability to sample cheesecake for such a decent price. We also had a wine tasting.. i highly recommend this place.

Divine cheesecake, thankfully they do a tasting menu so its easy to choose. Lots of wines to taste as well, most on the sweet side by there are some good drier options. Oh, and the truffles ? Get some, then take some home. My fave is the salted caramel

Their staff and service? AMAZING. Their variety of cheesecakes? AMAZING. Their cheesecakes in general? AMAZING. I went here with my family, and the woman that helped us was so warm and answered all of our questions and gave great recommendations. Her energy made me happy and excited to eat the cheesecake. We did their take-out cheesecake and brought it back home to our hotel to eat. They have so many different flavors to cater to all different types of palettes. My favorite though is their Apple Streusel Cheesecake! I really wish I bought a second one before we left Maine. Also, their take-out containers for the cheesecakes are so functional and efficient too. It includes a plate and a built-in spoon, which probably doesnt matter to a lot of people, but try me it makes a difference when you take it home and eat it. Anyways, I highly recommend this place if youre visiting Bar Harbor, Maine.

Amazing Cheesecakes! Better than I have ever had. One may not appreciate the potential variety of cheesecake flavors until they had the opportunity to visit Bar Harbors newest dessert gem. I only wished we were staying longer to try more of them. I am so envious of those who might read this review and stop in as I will have to wait until next summer.

Maine chocolate moose cheesecake tastes no joke exactly like a frozen chocolate pudding cup! Not in a good way either!!! I was so disappointed after wanting to go here for so long! I’m not trying to spread hate I’m just genuinely sad. Please step up your chocolate cheesecake game.

Went here for dinner (4 people) after reading the signs advertising dinner options (the name is a little misleading but we understand now). We ordered a charcuterie board for two and hummus platter to start and that combo was perfect for the four of us. Delicious spreads for both. Wine list is interesting, most stuff is on the sweeter side. I think the original intention of this restaurant was a dessert/small plates style place, and the dinner menu was added later. Entrees were delicious but the portions seemed a little small given the price. Maybe we should have ordered an extra side? Overall, everything we ate was delicious and we would probably come back again once this place matures a little more! Excited to see whats to come.

Service was extremely slow, a regular dinner for 3 people took 2 hours. Most importantly the prices were extremely high (e.g a dish of swordfish for 55$). But not only were the prices high, the food was average at best. For a 22$ seafood soup I would expect more flavour. The bison meatballs (3 for 22$) were ok, but nothing you could not cook at home cheaper and faster. Simply not worth it.

Horrible, if you like a huge pile of Angel Hair past with a lousy sauce and some kin do of meat on top, for a very high price, then it is for you. Not a place for refined taste and fine food. The worst is the so called cheese cake, some 90 different varieties, some goo with different coloring and different tastes, properly all artificial. We eat at 2 to 3 restaurants each week, all over the country and all over the world. Havent been served this bad for a very long time.

Tremendous value on cheesecakes. Large 4 round portions for 2-4. Numerous flavors and all were available. This ranks in my top 10 internationally!

Honestly, I’m so sad to write this review. This place has SO much potential but their service time is horrendous. We were in there for 1.5 hours for 2 wine samplings and small cheesecake wedges. Our wine order was taken promptly on arrival but because we weren’t ready to decide on which cheesecakes yet, the waitress didn’t return to check on us or take our order for THIRTY MINUTES. Moreover, the wine samplings (3 x 1oz pours) took 20 minutes to come after ordering and the cheesecakes 40 minutes (!! this is after our 30 minutes waiting to order). YIKES. The wines were ok, the cheesecakes were good but honestly, I couldn’t recommend this to anyone following our experience :(

Had high hopes for this place after looking at the extensive cheesecake menu. Decided to get 2 cheesecakes to go. The price for two was around $31 which was a little more than expected but I was okay with paying more for quality. Unfortunately when we got home to try them (cheesecakes had been “thawing” for the 30 min ride home) the cheesecakes were still a bit frozen in the middle. The flavor and consistency was pretty terrible. I have had 10x better cheesecake at other local establishments for half the price. Honestly, I don’t write reviews but felt compelled after being so let down by this place :(

Charcuterie board seemed like everything was from Sams. The bread plate that went with it was a few club cracker, a few Ritz type crackers, and a slice of untoasted white bread. Service was slow. The room went from 65 to 58 while we were there. They had both doors open and the heat off. There was a very cold draft blowing through. Savory lobster cheesecake was frozen. Hummus plate was okay. One of the waiters didnt leave his mask on and even came up to a table with it off. Terrible experience. Only get the cheesecake sampler to go. They were hit or miss, but worth the $5.

The cheesecake is outstanding! They say they use very little sugar which is surprising because it tasted phenomenal!

What a freaking awesome little place. Why did it take so long for someone to invent a cake flight?!?! On top of that, everything was fantastic, and the cheesecake flavors ranged from classic to unique (pecan praline and pistachio). We happened to walk in on owners night so there was free samples of some of the special flavors they made during the week. The wine selection was excellent as well. Stop in here, you wont regret it!

Loved this place. I had a flight of their 3 dry white wines and a tasting of 3 cheesecake flavors. The tasting was just enough to really taste the flavors. I enjoyed pumpkin praline, chocolate peanut butter, and lemon bar harbor. They were all wonderful.The service is great, very warm and friendly and the prices are great. The cheesecake is wonderful and the selection of drinks is very broad.

Nice server, but bad service (messed up order, waited a long time the first time, more the next). Outrageously expensive for the quality ($100 for a poached lobster). Stay clear of this one.

Tonight we did the wine and cheesecake tasting. The pairings were exceptional and the flavors were sublime. Everything was well presented and the entire staff was professional and knowledgeable. Tiramiso, Mint chocolate, and maple bacon were some of the favorite flavors!

Delicious, delicious tastings. I went back to try an extra 4 flavors. From the tart blueberry lemon to the over the top sugar of the birthday cake cheesecake, there were no wrong choices. My wife and I enjoyed coming here after a dinner and at noon on the next day after a morning of hiking. We even got a blueberry lemonade cheesecake to enjoy in the airport for one last taste of Bar Harbor. The owners were friendly and we shared stories of our various travels while helping us pair the best wine with the cheesecake tastings. There is fancy decor, but I watched a group of people in t-shirts and shorts walk in and be seated without issue.

Delicious cheesecakes! You can taste three flavors for $5 or take a personal cheesecake home for $12. Recommend doing a few tastings because youre going to want to try all of the flavors. A few favorites were Apple Strudel, Blueberry and Carrot Cake!Enjoy!

We went there for the grand opening after a long day of hiking. The honey mead was great, and we particularly liked the Pistachio Cheesecake, the Island Cheesecake, and the Bananas Foster Cheesecake. The entire staff was extremely friendly and welcoming even though Im sure we looked like a ragtag bunch having come straight from the mountain. Best of luck moving forward!

Absolute must visit for anyone who loves chocolate. Wife and I loved the cheesecake tasting so much we bought 2 cheesecakes (and maybe some chocolates), don’t judge!,to go back to the hotel with. Was a pleasure meeting Eric and his family who where very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food and the town.
