Worst place I asked for help nobody wanted to helpThey rather eat chips and talk amongst themselvesI bought wardrobe boxes and the cashier Antonio Martin didn’t even bother to tell me that I need the poles when I asked why he didn’t say nothing he told it wasn’t his job. I’m a business owner and I would never treat my customers like that .

This is total sham, rented a van, van was driving wierd with bad alignemnt, then worse the battery died and the guys there were very rude. I am not sure how anyone could get a job been so rude. The Van brokedown battery wont start. Tey towed the van and vowed to charge me vehicle abandonment bcos they expected me to be staying with the van until help arrives. They are not worried about the customer, however it took me 1hour 30minutes to get on the phone with road side assisatnce. If youever rent a truck here please check it out before you move, some of the vans are very old and they need to be out of service.

The best service I have got so far. Chris was very nice and friendly. He greeted me when I entered the store. I would say it is rare to get greeted in U-Hual store. After I purchased all the moving boxes, Chris volunteered help me loaded all the moving boxes in my car before I asked for help. I am very impressed by how wonderful his customer service is. U-Hual…He is a keeper!

I was charged an additional $160 for a piece of equipment that was there. I Went back to the store and the rep said he didn’t know why I was charged because the dolly was there and would “try” to get my money back. He was not empathetic or helpful he just walked out of the store. He never came back into the store. The other Rep took control and helped me. I was also given a truck that didn’t have 1/2 tank of gas. And was charged when i brought it back because it didn’t appear to be on a 1/2 in which it was. This location is on a hill and the gas gauge changes until you drive onto the street. I’m never renting from here again. I willl pay the extra $ for movers.

Everytime I have come there I have always received the trucks that I needed and never had any problems with the staff or trucks.

The service I received from the woman working was awesome!! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. My first U-Haul experience was perfect!

Prices were reasonable, location convenient, and van was in decent condition. I want to point out the AMAZING customer service I received from Toni. She was pleasant, polite, helpful and made the entire experience great. Unfortunately, the A/C was not working that day in the office AND it was busy!! I have no idea how Toni remained so calm & wonderful, but she did! I would have been a lunatic!!! She got me in and out in minutes, during both the pick-up and return. I will definitely use this business again for my moving needs, that is strictly because of the outstanding customer service. Good job U-Haul, GREAT JOB TONI!!!!! Thank you.

Uhaul at this location used to be really good. However, Idk what happened but their employees now act in criminal ways. I returned a vehicle in the same condition I picked it up after using it for one hour, and they found a 2 inch dent on the back and wanted to charge me for the full repair. I never expected it something like this from a big company like Uhaul but I guess their employees are willing to lie in order to make a profit.

Im reporting them to the better business bureau. This place stole over $500 from me. I originally paid in cash with a $100 deposit coming out to $450They said my card didn’t go through so I paid in cash and then a week and a half later $739 is missing from my card because I went over miles. .99 a mile and I was charged well over $1200 for 600 miles and a gas refill. They stole money from me. Thieves. I continue to be charged for “fees.”

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM DO NOT RENT A TRUCK FROM HERE. WE DROVE LESS THAN 3 MILES AND WAS CHARGED FOR 28 MILES. WHEN WE TALKED TO THE MANAGER SHE WAS EXTRA RUDE LIKE IT WAS ARE FAULT. LEFT A POCKETBOOK IN THE TRUCK WHICH THEY STOLE. WE RETURNED ARE VEHICLE ON SUNDAY THE SAME DAY BEFORE THEY CLOSED AND IT WAS NOT CHECKED IN UNTIL THE NEXT MORNING. I BELIEVE THEY ARE USING THESE TRUCKS AS THEIR PERSONAL VEHICLES AND CHARGING THE CUSTOMERS THE GAS AND MILEAGE. WHEN THEIR THE ONES DOING IT. IF ANYBODY ON HERE THAT HAS BEEN SCAMMED BY THEM PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME. WE SHOULD ALL COME TOGETHER AND SUE THIS COMPANY.

Last Wednesday, I ordered a pickup truck at the UHaul on Belair Road to pick up a couch. When I got there, they were having issues with their propane tank leaking and two guys with another car yelling at them. I was late picking up the couch and wanted to get out of their hair. As soon as I pulled out, I noticed the dash said the oil needed to be changed and there was a sensor error. Someone also left their phone in the car and a guy named “Stink” kept calling. The employees at UHaul told me to take a picture of the mileage of the car to make sure it was right but there was nowhere on the dash that read the mileage. I know I should have turned the car back in and said forget it but I really wanted this couch, the two employees there had their hands full, and my husband would have had to turn around and pick me back up. I understood that I would be charged $4 a gallon for not filling it up. I did not mind because I would only be using 1 or 2 gallons and I wanted to be done with this truck as soon as possible. The paperwork says I went 17 miles and used 5.8 gallons of gas. That means this truck got 2mpg. Two miles per gallon of gas. I could not find any information on the legal limit of mpg on a vehicle but I am suspicious as to if that vehicle would pass an emissions test. An oil change probably would have made a big difference, but I did not know how the car’s electronic system was calibrated to warn about oil changes. It could put that warning up after 3K miles or when the oil was actually affecting the car.I tried to call the location but I ended up at a more corporate line. At first, I thought I was talking to a computer but then they asked me how to pronounce my name. I suspect he did not speak English and was reading off a script. That is not necessarily a bad thing but he could not understand why a truck that gets 2 miles to the gallon was an issue. He transferred me to a supervisor who tried to call the Belair Road location but no one picked up (although she told me that the manager at the location said the truck got 19mpg so someone must have picked up). She suggested I try to call them. However, she reiterated several times that I should have just filled up the car and it would have saved me money. That is not the issue. If I had put 5.8 gallons in the car and seen that I went 17 miles, I would still be livid. Whether it cost $24 or $16, 6 gallons of gas is ludicrous for 17 miles. It seemed like she wanted to blame me for this 2mpg truck. That is all this supervisor would say.Save yourself and record everything on their vehicle if you have to use this company. But don’t use them unless there are no other options.

Go to another uhaul. I have used Uhaul for years and now suddenly when I use this location for the first time im being charged a cleaning fee and the truck was clean.

The week of Halloween I needed to fill the propane on my RV & went to the one on Belair Rd, Baltimore City, where I have been before, however I met & dealt with the new manager there/Sharon, who was so much more than helpful & a pleasure to work with. She made sure that once my propane fill was completed that I was able to manoever my 28’ RV out of there safely. I would like to thank her (& Uhaul) for her professionalism. ThamkU so much Sharon 👌😃

I was waiting for 20 min just for someone to assist me. They only had 1 person working. This place is unprofessional and disorganized.. if this place continues to operate like this, I’ll take them to the better business bureau

We got what we needed quickly. Price was slightly higher then advertised after different fees and charges for this and that. But it was still reasonably priced and the service we received was great

At this location, the customer service is very very excellent. Management and staff members will go all out to making sure your vist will be the greatest and most professional you have ever experienced. I would highly recommend belair rd as your next uhaul providers. L

No sure why there is a armed police officer here. Kind of intimidating; for a second, I thought that something had happened. But apparently the officer was there just keeping an eye on the customers. But anyway, the people that work there was very nice and courteous.

They over charged me for a rental when I busted my behind to bring the truck back. THEN tacked on a damage fee in spite of me having their most expensive damage protection feature AND even though I did NOT cause ANY damage. AND to add to the frustration when I called to resolve the issue each time my account was NOT found until I walked into another branch. A solution was proposed BUT not upheld. Resulting in me being hung up on after waiting for over 20 minutes.

They CHEAT you claim I did fuel up changed me $9.10 for to gallons.

Teara is really nice and helpful. Ive used this particular office twice and was more than satisfied with her customer service each time

My sister and I rented a U-Haul truck recently from this location. The store location had great customer service and support. My problems came about when I did not receive my hold reimbursement. It has been two weeks and I still have not received it. Though not the fault of the store location, U-Hauls Corporate Customer service has dropped the ball. One young lady was extremely rude, loud and unprofessional. I have never recommended that someone be fired because everyone needs work, especially in our economy in Baltimore, but she needs to go. She was obviously not cut out for customer service or working with the public in general. Its unfortunate that people like her make a company look bad. I appreciate the service of the store location manager and the corporate service rep Ms.Tony.

I have to say that the female manager (Teara, sp?), and the two service guys (kenny) gave us the HIGHEST level of customer service Ive ever had from a rental company!! They could have easily ruined our day, on my own account for being ill-prepared to return our rental truck and rent a storage locker on the same day....but they came through incredibly!!!! I will be returning this location for any futire moving needs, and currently continue to have my storage needs taken care of by them! Completely blown away by how well we were taken care of!

Pretty efficient process going out, not so much turning in. Seemed a little disorganized when everyone showed up at pretty much the same time to return vehicles. Overall they were pretty good though.

The employees that work there are amazing and wonderful. The manager Teara is always helpful and always smiling. Have been there many of times and I always feel great leaving there. Ms Teara has been with this company for so long and she always have a positive attitude. Every time I go in there I always ask her why isnt she working in corporate.I have met few more people in her staff that was amazing in helping me and friends that come there. ( Ms Kim is always smiling even when I see others customer being rude).The two outside gentleman I believe there names is Nicholas and I think the other guys is name Kenney they are very helpful when I dont know what I am doing when I get my rental.And I want to thank the uhaul company for making is safe for me and my family when we come in. Thank you for having the off duty POLICE in your store.Funny thing, a good friend of minds was saying to me that when he and his family moved from upstate New York and drop of a truck at the bel air Rd location, he said he felt a little scared when he pulled on to the lot. He thought he was in the wrong area, but when he seen the police officer he felt really good and safe.....

Fast, convenient, slightly expensive however... but all in all easy to navigate not to many tight corners whatcha seem to plague these type of establishments.

The associates were friendly and very helpful with answering all my questions. Im always using this store when I need to relocate.

HORRIBLE! Charged for a 2nd day, when we returned the keys in the drop box, per their instructions!! Also, was told the truck had a full tank of gas when we picked up the truck in the AM. The gauge showed 1/4 tank, so we returned w/ a 1/4 tank. Charged us for Fuel Fee and additional fee for gas!!! I will be continue to follow up on a refund everyday until this is resolved. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!
