Amazing coffee shop. What I love most is their customer service. They absolutely go above and beyond. They have amazing matcha and a great mocha latte. I also ordered their ham and cheese sandwich with turkey and I was delightful. A great little place for a coffee date or to simply to work. I’ve worked from home for an entire day here and absolutely loved it.
One the best coffee lounges I’ve visited in the world. The experience is relaxed and the lounge area gives off a feeling that you’re in your own home that has somehow transcended onto a magazine cover of “Elle Decor”. The staff and Josh were polite and knowledgeable on setting up my order to perfection. 5 Stars without a doubt
Damn good latte folk... damn good!
I have been going to a lot of local coffee shops in the area, but this is the best one so far. I got a latte with whole milk and honey gram. Its really quiet and a good place to relax, study or read. The parking isnt bad but there isnt much space. If you cant find a spot in front, you will have to find street parking.
Super nice and friendly staff, with a consistently good coffee! Awesome place for a work-from-home day or to catch up with friends over a cup of coffee. I would highly recommend.
I work in the area so many times thats my choice of morning coffee. It might not feel special but I just love it and the atmosphere when I give them a visit.
Nice spot to chill in and work but I didnt think the coffee was anything special, especially the cold brew which still cost $5. Not even in NYC or sf!
The coffee tasted great and the almond croissant wasnt too sweet but it was nice. I would highly recommend this place for good coffee!
The coffee was pretty delicious. I liked the atmosphere more than other places Ive been (i.e. starbucks, Dunkin donuts). It had a welcoming sit down and enjoy yourself vibe mixed with a industrial theme. The Store manager was very welcoming and gave me some great recommendations. They dont take cash in covid state but its very clean with the kiosks they set up for you to use. I would love to come back again, open a good book and relax in one of their beautiful and comfy oversized chairs!
Small coffee shop with great coffee, wifi, and staff. On vacation and this coffee shop server as my base while my hotel wifi was being reset.
Very nice place to sit, chill and even work. It is like my go to office. coffee is great and ambiance is calming to increase focus with beautiful baltimore skyline views.
3 Bean Coffee has a wonderful atmosphere for getting together with friends or hunkering down to study/work. The music is usually very pleasant to the ears, and the staff is excellent. Internet speed for the free WiFi is very good, and this place surprisingly had one of the best bagels Ive ever eaten in Baltimore. Other pastries and food/beverage options are great, too.The only reason for 4/5 stars and not 5/5 stars is based on the size of the establishment, and the quality of the coffee (black) -- it is a bit too acidic for my liking. I wish the space was a little larger... but other than that it is fantastic!S
Coffee was good. Sandwich was good w the exception there was egg shells in it. Good news they use real eggs.
Small little laid-back coffee shop. The clerk was very well informed about what they had to offer and was able to explain their varieties. Very comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. Good place to work for the day or just hang out for a little while. Unfortunately, parking is metered parking outside. Lots of small snack options and many baked goods. Their nitro pour coffee was wonderful, some of the best in the area that Ive had.
Discovered Vagrant while looking for a cafe to work with a chill atmosphere. The Inner Harbor location checks the boxes. Its good vibes the moment you walk in. Friendly staff, service is quick. And I love that placing your order is contactless. Their smoked salmon sandwich and jalapeño grill cheese is 😋 really good... #repeatcustomer
The plan was to visit Federal Park. But the reviews for this cafe made it a must visit.First impression - Very sweet and friendly lady at the counter. She explained all their spring drink specials when I asked. Later, I also noticed there is a more detailed menu to the left of the register. I ordered a lavender latte and a spinach-goat cheese quiche. I grabbed a seat and my order was brought to me in no time at all.Quiche - The eggs were well cooked, so light and fluffy. It had the right amount of salt if you like less salt. I wanted something like a dipping sauce but they didnt have ketchup. They had something better! Chipotle mayo. And its made in-house, it definitely had a kick to it. Overall the quiche was great, my only suggestion would be to add a small side salad like arugula with a light dressing.Lavender latte - This was one of their spring specials. I requested medium sweet. And Im glad I did. It definitely was sweet. It was also creamy with a nice layer of foam. And you could get a taste of the flavor too.One of the best things here - Everything was served in reusable utensils. Plates, ceramic mug and even a tiny steel container for the mayo. I just had a yummy meal with no trash (since I carried my own napkin too)!Ambiance - Quiet with bright full length windows. The decor is eclectic, comfy chairs. There is a chalkboard door to decorate if you want to be creative. Nice soft music in the background, you can easily concentrate on what youre doing.I loved this cafe! Wish it was closer to home :)
High quality coffee + tea in a cozy space near the harbor (but far enough away to not be swarmed by tourists). Matcha latte was a 10/10 ☺️
Best little coffee shop in Baltimore next to the inner harbour
Excellent coffee and lattes. The staff is always very polite and the baristas are very skilled. Its a small shop so if you like to work and hold meetings many times there may not always be room. If you like to study... it can get loud because its very common for parents to hang around with their babies and toddlers. Parking isnt always great but thats normal anywhere you go in the city.
Vsited on 06/22/21 had a macchiato, hands down best one Ive ever had. Barista was also kind and friendly.
One of the best coffee places in the city! Great seating area and friendly, fantastic baristas. The latte was pretty good. One of the best latte Ive had in a long time. If you get to sit in the bar area by the window, youll get a great view of the harbor, which makes for a nice place to bust out the laptop and get some work done. Its a very pleasant space and you should definitely give this place a try!!
Favorite coffee shop in Federal Hill! Great customer service and cozy, friendly environment! On several occasions, the barista actually went out of their way to carry the coffee to my table! I feel so at home here! Also the Orange Flower Mocha is so delicious and they have gluten free coffee cake!!!
Delicious latte and close to the park
The croissant was so tasty that we couldnt think to take a picture before digging in. I appreciate the great variety of non-dairy milks 3 Bean offers! My macadamia cafe au lait was superb. Although we took our order to go, it seems like a great spot to settle in and study, work, or enjoy a quiet moment.
12021This may sound crazy to you but, Ive been trying to get here for 3 years! At least 3 years. Ive been here but never could find a parking space so I would explore other options.Today I was determined! I told myself whether I see a space or not, Im going to stay until I find one. Would you believe I pulled up and 3 people were leaving in 3 different vehicles?!?!As soon as I walked in, I was met w a nice open clean crisp area. The gentleman behind the counter spoke and let my husband and I know that we can move up to the kiosk to order whenever we were ready.Im thinking to myself, ready... Ive been ready!!Well, Ive been ready but it took me 20 minutes to order at the kiosk. HahaI was glad that the gentleman/ barista was able to help me with the questions I had about espresso options, smoothies, etc.I ended up getting a Smores Hot Chocolate and a Green Dream Smoothie. Both items were very delicious! I saw plenty of other items I wanted to try in the future including food items that just didnt fit into todays wants. They have fresh coffee beans displayed in the window as well as an open area thats blocked off but you can see exactly what they are doing w ingredients being used for gourmet beverages, etc. I also like that they have a ledge with literature if you choose to sit in their adjacent room to hang out while eating and drinking your food/ beverage. My hubby and I sat in next room. It was so quiet, peaceful and everything was well spaced out for social distancing.I am so excited to say I will definitely be back very very soon! This place was well worth the wait !!
Always experience incredible customer service and my food/drinks are consistently delicious! Love the vibe and quality of the shop.
Terrible service left and walked to Spoons Coffee Roasters and Cafe who had awesome service, great cappuccinos and The Beast breakfast #eatthebeast
Love 3 Bean! A neighborhood spot with great coffee and friendly folks behind the counter.
Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. I will be back with my coworkers. The bill was good for what you get. I can see why they have a lot of good reviews.
It is such a quaint coffee shop and there is always plenty of comfortable seats to sit. Lots of choices to choose from that would definitely satisfy your taste.
Good flavor and good service
Amazing, small coffee spot. Wish we had more like this outside of the city! Picked up a bag of fresh, whole bean coffee to take home, as well. I chose the Mexican roast, as I enjoy medium chocolate/nutty notes and enough power behind it you can taste every sip rush over your palette. Will absolutely be returning, if were in that area. Expect a few online orders from us, soon, too! We are rather elated to experience more of what this local roaster has to offer!
The place is cute and the customer service is great but the coffee and breakfast sandwich was ok.
Excellent coffee shop. The sales counter is separate from the seating area. There are places to sit quietly alone and there are places to seat groups. Theres a couch and swanky coffee table. The music has good energy without being too noisy or distracting. The facility and the bathroom are clean. The staff are very helpful. Best of all, the coffee is on point. Im waiting for their lavender latte to come back into season.
The place does get crowded as it’s fairly small, but it’s definitely worth a visit. This is now my new favorite place.
Great coffee and really nice staff!
Very good coffee (and Banana Bread...) friendly service and staff! Thank you.
Friendly and informative staff. Good tea and hot chocolate as well as banana bread
Great coffee shop
Very good coffee and a great seating space inside with views across the harbour. I took off a star because of the ridiculous ordering system, you place an order on their tablet while literally standing right at the counter instead of you know, just talking to the barista. Not great to have such a touch screen system in covid too.
3 Bean Coffee is the my best coffee spots in the city. Great place to hanging out with a friend and working. The coffee is amazing! Staff are friendly, fast and helpful. The ambiance is pleasant and service is very fast. Id highly recommend this place to everyone.
Coffee was great as was their almond croissant! (Request to have it toasted!) Service was nice and friendly :D
Cute and friendly place with great coffee. Has a nice sitting/study area as well
Great nitro
Very crowded. Did not feel covid safe.
Great coffee and a nifty little shop!
Delicious coffee and fast service
Nice cozy but socially distant. Friendly and prompt service.
Discovered this place half way through a trip to Baltimore and ended up making this my go-to every morning for some of the best coffee I’ve had and delicious pastries for breakfast (my particular favorite was the fruit cream cheese danish). The vibes were great - I did take out as well as spent a morning there to read and enjoyed it immensely.
Service with a smile and delicious!
I was desiring a cup of coffee, so I stopped in at 3 Bean. I got a pour-over. Solidly okay. Ive had better; Ive definitely had worse. If I ever need another cup of coffee near Inner Harbor, I will definitely return to 3 Bean.
Looks the part of an easy going coffee house! Perfect for a day to have a conversation with a friend over coffee or study by yourself when its cloudy and drizzly outside. And the coffee is delicious. Am yet to try out their food.
Great coffee, pastries and service. Quaint little coffee shop.
Visited Baltimore for the first time for a few days and this is the only coffee shop we went to, we were hooked!
All our meals were excellent and greatly enjoyed.
My wife and I are in Baltimore for a Sylvan conference and we were looking for a great local coffee shop and we were both pleasantly surprised to find this little gem in the inner harbor. They have fantastic pour overs of estate coffers, their nitro cold brew was very good and their brewed coffee was great too. The best part was every day we were in the place the staff seemed happy to be there and the service was very good. If you want coffee that is not over roasted with lots of flavor and nuance, then this is your place if you are in the inner harbor
My cappuccino and coffee cake were fantastic! I wish i had this location right next to my house!
I had high expectations for this place but unfortunately didn’t love it. Their coffee was average, and it took 30 minutes for me to receive the wrong bagel with almost no cream cheese. Would not return.
Nice local place with fun items and all the coffee standards. Great view of the water and city. Convenient parking. Barista Darius was super friendly and helpful. The place has a trendy local vibe without being annoying or pretentious.
The price is exactly what I expected for a local coffee shop (a little pricey). The atmosphere was cozy. We ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich on toast to-go. We got that BUT we noticed after we had left that it also had grape jelly on it. That was not communicated to us before ordering.
The setup is nice
A little pricey, but understandable considering the great location. Great to spend some time working on your laptop with a view of the harbor. Super fun place to try if you enjoy trying new drinks!
Super good! I gave them a fake name “Gordo” and they treated me with respect ;)
When I was downtown, this used to be a must- stop coffee shop for a cuppa and a bag of fresh ground for home but recently I got a bag of the new roast Vagrant and I’m not impressed. Hope to see the old 3 Bean roast return.
Coffee was delicious but portion to price ratio was not up to par.
Very pleasant environment! Slight hipster vibe but not over done. Decent seating, divided into screen and non-screen sections (probably 10-12 seats per section) with great soundtrack. I went on a slow day (rain) and almost all of the screen section was full, so might be difficult to the find a study spot during peak hours.Excellent service. I got the overnight oats and a hot chocolate, both were tasty. Not too pricey.Parking was a slight nightmare, as the surrounding blocks have permit-only parking after two on Sundays and there are limited spaces in front of the building. I managed to get one of these metered spaces only after waiting and circling about for about 10 minutes. Might be fine on other times?
One of the best cups of coffee youre going to find in Baltimore. Three Bean is always bringing in new coffee blends and other interesting takes on how to get your caffeine fix which keeps me coming back. The craft coffee shop vibe that they bring was also severely lacking from the area before and offers a neat place to get some work done or kick back right across from the harbor.
Our service was excellent and the atmosphere was vibrant.
Great local spot for a quick stop. Now that they have breakfast sandwiches it’s gotten even better. Still need to check out on of the evening open mic nights or gatherings. Free parking directly in front before 9am for your morning run by.
Often crowded, somewhat pricey coffee shop with excellent views of inner harbor. Parking can be tricky, but once thats managed, this is a very cozy place to relax with a cuppa (and really good noshes!) and to get work done, or just people watch or read. Bonus points for having a few locations designated as electronic free zones!
We always stop here when driving to and from DC. Their drinks are always delicious and exciting, and they make their own fresh almond milk (or “almond beverage” as it’s called now). It has a great seating area if you’re trying to get some work done or meet up with friends, though we tend to take our drinks to Federal Hill Park, less than a block away, to enjoy them with the view.I highly recommend if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee in a great location, and if you love almond milk!
Great black coffee, nice atmosphere, really great service. Their espresso drinks are good as well. The location is on the smaller side, which makes it seem really cozy!
2 words: LAVENDER LATTE. It’s a must try.
