Really love this place! Expensive to some degree but it is expected when purchasing relatively expensive, well-groomed flora. Unfortunately when my bestfriend and I went, it was cicada season so we suffered a bit whilst outdoors. Lots of gorgeous, favourable plants & the little greenhouse? So cute and such a good overall atmosphere. If you’re not planning on buying some plants, I recommend checking this place out anyways as it’s such a cute little spot with nice people who work there :-)

Ok selection. I was looking mainly for houseplants. They had mainly outdoor plants. I grabbed some beautiful pansies. Ill check back later.Very hard today checking out. I stood there forever waiting.... Then Cashier had problems with cash register.

Always great service & excellent selection. We recently bought a beautiful bottle palm tree and they held it for us as long as we needed until we picked it up.

Such a friendly staff. Every single one of them were amazing! I got some amazing elephant ear plants and a few other smaller plants.

My husband and I are first time plant buyers and Nadine was absolutely wonderful! She was extremely helpful and sweet. She picked out the perfect flower pots and found beautiful plants and flowers to fill the pots with. She was patient and took her time with us. Wonderful experience, will definitely be coming back here in the future! I highly suggest asking for Nadine too :)

Every trip to Greenfield nursery is an adventure, and the cool thing about this adventure is that theres always a guide to help you along the way. If you know what youre looking for, theyve got it. If you dont know what youre looking for, theyve got that too. We always experience tremendous friendliness, unparalleled customer service, and even more important very knowledgeable workers who can tell you exactly what plants will work for you where and when and how to take care of them. You cant be going to this place, which is why we always go back. If you go there once, itll be your go to for plants or planting needs of any kind ever more.

Its a welcome change from your chain stores such as Home Depot and Lowes. The prices are very reasonable, and the selections are bountiful. I really appreciate how knowledgeable some of the staff are about the plants. For years Ive lived in the Baltimore area and have driven pass the nursery, but never went in. Im glad I decided to give them a try. Money well spent. They didnt get the full 5 stars because of parking. Its horrendous if the lot is full

Lovely place. A little pricey for me. Some of the succulents were rotted out which proved to be an eyesore and made me sad. Loved just walking around, being a part of nature. So very therapeutic!!! Try it sometime!!!

Purchased a good sized fishtail palm there recently. I am impressed by thier knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices and customer service. They cleaned up the plant for me and carried it to my car which i am thankful for since it was a cold and icy morning! Looking forward to doing business with them again soon.

I’m a beginner gardener and so very glad I came across this place, through google search. They have many varieties of plants/flowers; even plants I had a hard time finding elsewhere (indoor plants in good condition). There prices were reasonable for most varieties.It was such a pleasure meeting Peter, one of the advisors, there. He was so very helpful in not only helping me find plants that best meets my needs, but also giving me valuable information! We had a fun discussion about our cats :) I hope both of his girl kitties are doing well.I will DEFINITELY be coming back for more of my gardening needs.-S. Melton

Dont no first time there

This is a beautiful nursery with an excellent selection. Unfortunately, the staff is unhelpful and dismissive, and the prices are outrageous. Theyre also unwilling to work with you on price. Their niche makes a lot of sense: Roland Park is just up the hill, they can pretty much charge whatever that want. For my money, though? Ill go somewhere friendly, helpful and affordable.

In visiting for the 2nd time I felt not all, but a lady there were rude and appeared to snub my neighbor (of color) who joined me on my trip there. We will never spend our money with an organization that represents this way. Such a shame.

My experience at Green fields was awesome. I had a plant for 10 years that needed to be replanted that belknged to my grandmother that passed. Mr Peter was so kind and experienced. My plant looks amazing.

Came to this place a few times just browsing in the winter and early spring. Today I just purchased a Pink Icing Blueberry. The staff had excellent knowledge on there plants and trees. Far as prices, shopping and supporting local you shouldnt have thoughts about price, turely. Besides, the prices are reasonable! Oh yeah I be back for the ladybugs!!

This is the best place to get a Christmas tree!! Everyone is always super nice and helpful, and they dont mind my perfectionist ways in picking a tree! This year marks my third year getting a tree from here and Ive never been disappointed.

Prices are fair and the plants are always in great health. When ever I bring a plant home from here I never have to worry about it having mites or other pest. The staff is so nice and they really care.

Went to Green Fields for the first time today, received great assistance and tips, and even had our pot replanted for us and placed in a nice gift box. Highly recommend!

First time I went here it was a great experience. However when I returned very bad experience. First I was left by a worker supposedly showing me pots. He left and never returned. I had to walk back in with a baby scroller. I was sold a pot way to big. I went to purchase a pot as well as be educated on the plants. Second plAnt they told me was fine only to find out after research that wasn’t true. Just disheartening. I rather had been told I don’t want to help you.

Nice place. They took care for my orchid and gave me quite useful tips. They were professional and so helpful. I got myself new 4 plants and now I have enough knowledge to grow them.

They have plants. They have dirt, mulch, and stone, etc. I was nice to them and they were nice to me. Go to a box store if you want inexpensive.

Extremely kind and knowledgeable staff. I went in with my sick house plant to try and see if it could be saved, they cleaned him up (which was pretty yucky, I felt so bad about the stink) and transplanted him into fresh soil in less than 15 minutes. I got pointers on how to keep my plant healthy too. I highly recommend this nursery!

Got a Christmas tree from these guys. Although it was a little more than we wanted to spend, staff was super friendly and helpful and we found one that fit perfect. But heres the thing...tree hasnt dropped more than a handful of needles and feels fresh cut two weeks out.

I like Green Fields a lot and go there a fair amount, as they are near to me. They have most of what Im looking for, as a hobbyist backyard gardener. Also the people there are nice and generally pretty knowledgeable.

I have been here twice and the customer service was medium to poor. The shop is fairly decent but short of an artisan garden shop. The second visit I made the customer service was worse. I will look elsewhere for a garden store.
