I’ve tried to give this restaurant multiple chances and each time I’m dissatisfied. My bf and I both picked at our food because it so bad we couldn’t finish it. I got the enchiladas and the rice was slimy and hard at the same time. Plating was awful it looked like they threw everything on the plate. Please take your business elsewhere! Bad food even worst customer service.Waitress had an attitude and brought our food 25 minutes apart instead of at the same time. My bf waited for me to get my food.

I got three tacos from this place over four days ago, and I kid you not, I have only just now recovered from the food poisoning. I didn’t even know food poisoning could be so awful. The first day was stomach cramps that had me yelling out in pain and crying for hours (I am a 35-year-old adult), on top of the usual fun symptoms of food poisoning. I was almost hospitalized for dehydration after not being able to keep water down for over a day. Tacos were chorizo, shrimp and carne asada. None tasted “off” but none tasted good either. I fed my dog some of the scraps after I was done — he and I got sick within the same hour the following day. I love the market at this place, but avoid the prepared food at all costs.

The food is usually good the service was not bad, but for a while now the service of a waitress who attended me on 09/26/2020 was terrible so unpleasant that I have no words to explain everything that happened I drive about 2 hours to get to the restaurant but with what happened I will not return, thank you, then I called to speak with the manager of the restaurant to give my complaint and it turns out that since the waitress who attended me that day is the daughter of the manager of the restaurant, she cannot be put no complaints and they only hang up the call when I call and ask to speak to the manager And the same waitress during the time we were there, there are people who arrived or people who came to pick up their order, she attended to them in the same way, she has no way to attend, one of all the situations that happened that day when we asked for sauce for a gordita de chicharrón that he didnt want to give us, why couldnt he if the sauce is like a toping. And it doesnt matter if they charge me, I wanted sauce and he refused to give it to me. Because he couldnt, because there were new rules that the restaurant had changed hands for me. I dont care about that. If I asked you for salsa she is supposed to bring it to me even if she makes an extra charge and then she turned around and when she went to the kitchen she was making faces and complaining and yelling from the hallway that she is rude

Discovered this gem while headed to another Mexican restaurant, which was closed when we arrived. I was like Now what?Well I didnt have to walk far, the adjacent building was Cinco Dr Mayo Dos. First off, this is NOT TexMex yuppie fair. Jarritos and flan usually is a good sign. This was followed by hand made chips and a delicious fresh salsa. The sight of tamales made my foodie heart leap. Real handmade tamales wrapped in corn husks. Delicious. My companion ordered the first item on the menu. A $5 appetizer of refried beans wrapped in a crisp but light corn tortillas. (Kind of like a corn version of a frijoles chimichanga), that arrived as three covered in toppings. The appetizer easily qualified as an entree.I ordered a tamale (which I saved and took home) and two tacos ala carte (one barbacoa beef and one carnitas enchilada - spiced pork). Both were good, the latter was amazing. But here is where they hit my expectations out of the park. Not only were both taxcos large, but they came in amazing handmade tortillas. I was unprepared for the presentation of my two ala carte tacos. They arrived presented with a side of grilled vegetables (tender whole green onions and strips of cactus)b fresh cucumbers, and plenty of lime. Accompanied by two fresh made hot sauces. All in all this gem was an exciting surprise. I definitely plan to return again, and again, and again. =)

Dont be put off by the store front or the entryway. This place looks like a grocery store, but if you walk inside and wine your way through a couple of turns you will find a small but comfortable dining area.I ordered the three grilled chicken, Polo Asado, tacos. They were fantastic. Simple but tasty. Loaded with grilled white meat chicken. On the side there were juicy, fresh limes and grilled peppers. The chips and salsa were outstanding too.Service was fast and friendly.Only complaint, they rolled out a mop bucket filled with a very strong smelling cleaner right in the middle of my meal. It took about 10 minutes for the smell to dissipate. The chips and salsa were outstanding to.Service was fast and friendly.Only complaint, they ruled out a mop bucket filled with a very strong smelling cleaner right in the middle of my meal. It took about 10 minutes for the smell to dissipate. I am NOT hyper sensitive to smells, but this was pretty strong. But to end on a good note, I walked out stuffed to the gills and satisfied. And the price was less than $10.

This is an authentic Mexican street-food place. Their ingredients are fresh and clean and really close to the ones they use in Mexico. If you are looking for burritos, nachos, quesadillas (the ones with yellow cheese), or chips and salsa you will be disappointed.Prices are fair, and the mixtures of flavors is just amazing. Ive been there a couple of times with my friends from all over the world and all of them had a positive experience. Go with an open mind and try new things you will certainly love it!

My family is from Mexico and Ive spent many summers there... This is the only place in Maryland that I trust or that Im willing to say is authentic Mexican food. I use to live in Patterson park and have tolerated other places like Tijuana tacos, but not anymore. Thanks to Cinco de Mayo I can finally get my taco fix. Thou, people should understand this food is authentic, not Tex mex, or Taco Bell!

I was looking for a specific product so I called the store to see if they sold it. The first time we called we got disconnected so I called back. I had to call 5 times before they picked up and they put me on hold then hung up on me. This happened two more times. I was very disappointed. I called them for 20 minutes. They didnt end up having the product, which is completely fine, but the service up until that point where someone finally answered our question was ridiculous.

Very good selection of dried chiles and other pantry items at a fraction of the cost of Amazon etc. The store was super clean and the produce, cheese, and meats looked fresh and beautiful. We (the kids and I) found the restaurant in the back and ordered tacos to go. The carnitas and pollo asado were fantastic! Great green salsa and a red salsa hot enough to satisfy even the most seasoned heat freak, full of flavor and a good hot kick! Worth the trip, especially if you live or work in the neighborhood

Truly a hole in the wall - the grocery store spans two rowhouses with a secret Mexican restaurant tucked in the back. Its not fancy (one server, a handful of tables, and a single case fridge of drinks) but you wont care when you have your food in front of you. They make all the right choices with burritos: seasoned rice with diced veggies, stretchy queso fundido, and any one of the delicious meats they make in store. (Its also a butcher!) You can get nopales and, occasionally, huiltacoche quesadillas (a must try if theyre available). Seriously underrated - be the first to impress your friends with this little place I know...

Greasy, under-seasoned, poor-quality meat. Inedible. Ive never eaten so little of my burrito before. I ordered al pastor and got neon orange gristle in sticky sweet barbecue sauce. Why did they put hard, unmelted queso fresco inside my burrito? Also, why is there aluminum foil inside of my food? Even the salsa sucked. And where is my avocado that u promised? Why did this cost $9.00 w/ tip?Skip this one for fresh Mexican food at Tijuana tacos 3 or taqueria el sabor del parque.

I ordered from this place through DoorDash. “Esquites” did not have any flavor, just a little Mayo, no cheese or chilli powder. Gordita was good and the chicharron presado was tasty. I was more excited about the birria tacos but I was very disappointed. They looked nice but not so tasty. They gave me less than half a cup of condone. I will not be ordering from this place again. If you order from here, get their gorditas and agua de orchata.Order from this place on DoorDash. The skis had no flavor and it was more water than skits. The gordita de chicharron and the orchata water were delicious. The birria and conzome were not what I expected. They gave me very little conzome and the birria didnt taste good.
