Hadnt been in years, just had a FANTASTIC trip to TLD and bonus points for cashier efficiency.Bravo.
Name brand bathroom room sink and wall fixtures a lot less expensive than Amazon and they also sell refurbished wood item like doors and lumber that are taken out of old city house when they are renovated
Used and new building materials priced to sell!
Speed of service was great looking around was magnificent. Doing a great job
This place is worth looking if you need any contruction materials. They have a large selection of both old and new things. We got great deals on tile for a bathroom remodel.
Good place to go for all homeowners . And the staff and workers are great.
Brought a microwave that broke in the second use. Full prices for used items. Poor customer service and horrible management.
A place with a great mission, you get to clear your residence of excess construction and other recycled materials, and you receive credit for a tax donation - Thanks LD!
Fabulous place with amazing staff!! My experiences have been so great it is now my go to place to look first for my house restoration.
I love going to the loading dock for their workshop classes that are free to the public. Which shows every how to fix and replace things in your home. Thank you, hope to participate in future workshops.
Its a personal preference location...I found nothing of interest and I think the prices were a bit extreme for used an dated throw away and donated appliances, fixtures, cabinets, etc.Junk yard...dump yard!
Always have anything you want
This place is the best for actual things you need to remodel and for art projects. Blows Second Chance out of the water (they’ve gotten so expensive, but Loading Dock prices are perfect). The people working there are knowledgeable and super nice. Cannot recommend highly enough.
There price has gone up.. But its still cheap
Nice for used 2ndhand item (home improvement store )
L have been a member since the Gorsuch Ave location.
Always a great place for personal home repair & previously used furniture and home appliances. The staff is very helpful and very polite.
The Loading Dock is my go to place if you want to save a few bucks. Im turning my basement into an apartment on a budget. Ive found some good stuff so far at The Dock, today I brought 5- bi-fold doors, a gallon of paint and floor tile all for under $100. I probably would have paid close to $300 elsewhere. Check it out!
Great spot for home improvement or mending material. Nothing new but all still workable material for the entire home! GREAT prices for things if you dont mind gently used. Great staff who are all helpful, friendly, and knowledgable. You have to be a member to purchase ($10.00 for a year so not bad at all and not automatically renewable) but its well worth it. Chances are, theyll have what you need! Highly recommend and will be returning often!
Random deals on recovered, repurposed and reused building supplies. You never quite know what youll find here! Significant improvements over the last year or two. Parking lot repaved, better organized parts/supplies inside. Generally great deals on stuff...
My Husband was there today and he got an amazing deal on some kitchen cabinets. Thank you so much I love the cabinets. ❤
Came to find ceramic tile for a bathroom project and EVERYBODY was helpful! They all pointed me to AL who must have been the main tile guy. He helped my uncle and me figure out how much tile we needed for the job and was honest when I asked what he thought about coordinating the different tile options! Very knowledgeable! The folks at the cashier showed customer service too! Definitely going back!
What an amazing concept well organized.
Awesome place to find household items to the do it yourselfers like paint carpet floor tiles etc. Very reasonable priced. Some used some new
Besides having to pay a 10.00 annual membership fee for two vhs tapes, it was a really cool place and a nice experience. I dont like membership fees because not everyone will be able to afford even 10 dollars after all it is suppose to be a place where people that dont have a whole lot of money can go and buy supplies for remodeling their homes. But I loved it and I love the people.
The Loading Dock is a great resource for new and used building materials, fixtures, doors, windows and especially ceramic tile. This place saves so much landfill space by selling excess material at a reasonable cost. It pays to check in regularly. Subscribe to their weekly email blast, check them out on Craigslist.
I love The Loading Dock, I will say if you see something you want get it right then and there because if you come back it will be gone. The loading dock is like a hit or miss but I always find the things I want, you might have to visit a couple of times if your looking for something particular but you will find it here. They do pick up items you would like to donate, prices are incredibly LOW especially being that some items are very hard to find.
I love The Loading Dock. You can find everything from cans of screws to cabinets for the whole kitchen. Carpet squares, paint and doors, even furniture and windows round out the pickings. More than reasonably priced compared to NEW prices elsewhere. A bargain is always found. You do need a $10 membership card which supplies you & a friend or family member with a years worth of bargain hunting & or buying.
Great place to find odd and ends for a remodel.
Great place to find reclaimed building products. You can get everything from carpet to hardwood to kitchen cabinets to Windows two doors to paint to sheetrock to light fixtures to appliances to bathroom amenities and much much more. Very reasonable prices on second-hand items
A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING, PRICES ARE AFFORDABLE AND THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT. THEY EVEN HELP YOU LOAD UP YOUR VEHICLE. I WOULDNT BRING BABIES OR LITTLE CHILDREN. IF YOUR ALLERGIC TO DUST, PLEASE WEAR A MASK😇
Some items way to pricey..
Customer Service has declined rapidly over the years and you have offered too many tattered items, we shop here less n less as a result
As with any of the building selvage stores, you never know what you are going to get here. Loading Dock doesnt have the volume or the footprint of Second Chance, but it does better on prices. Their tile selection tends to be larger, and every time Ive been there, they have had scads of carpet tiles. Other materials? Most of the time you are looking at nothing special... But if you want a random selection of hard wood floors to put on a wall, they will have what you need at a better price than Second Chance. If you go to Second Chance and leave with cabinets for your kitchen, you might go to Loading Dock and leave with cabinets for your garage. On the other hand, if you are in the market for a circle bathtub, today is your lucky day: Loading Dock has one.Today, we left with underlayment material for our new floors. Didnt know that was what we were going to get when we walked in the door, but there it was and thats one thing we dont have to go to Home Depot for anymore. If you are driving to Baltimore, it is worth venturing a little further on your selvage mission to see what you might find here.
This is a really neat place and they have a band new parking lot. Recycled appliances and construction materials for pennies on the lar to market price materials. Rolling weekly specials.
Welcoming and attentive staff. Lots to see and many options available. Plan the take your time looking through inventory and visit often. Handyman hotspot.
Very professional. Great staff, Great stuff, Great savings.
Tons of stuff at great prices...if you have a project check them out!
This is the best place to get cheap new or used home building/repair items.
Like everywhere we used to get better prices but sometime youll find something you can use there
Always find what I need and am inspired for other projects whenever Im there. I love that they are helping to keep all this stuff out of landfills!
A great place. A true salvage yard and not a place for TV shows to buy over priced set pieces. I come to places like this in order to save money not spend money. The staff is great, especially the charming cashier. Its nice to support a well run place like this that lets you save money while supporting a good cause.
Some of everything for building renovations. 501(3)c too. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Easy parking. Lots of doors too.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are unbeatable.
Great place to find left over stuff that can be used
I have done so much with the products from the Loading Dock. I remodeled my bathroom, kitchen. I installed new hardwood floors. I used many items for craft projects. There is even a stop for free items such a broken tiles that I have taken advantage of. This is the creative persons dream warehouse. I highly recommend having a look here when starting a new renovation project, youll save a load of money.
Warehouse full of building materials. Very easy to spend a few hours just looking around. The only downside is the $10 annual membership, but depending what you need its worth it.
I love tge idea of creative reuse! They have some cool things here at Great Prices!
Love this place, love looking through..have found some great finds which we were able to use..everyone is always nice..you do have to become a member, which helps support the non profit..not the best of neighborhoods, but once yr in, yr fine.
Prices went up too much
The young lady there was very helpful
It’s a Great place for someone on a budget that’s trying to do any type of renovation or home improvement can’t beat the pricing and the staff is helpful. You Should definitely make this a stop before you go to any major stores you would never know the gems you might find p.s.check out the price on their paint buckets 👌🏽
I love this place, its a treasure hunt every time I go. Great one of a kind deals, perfect for diy persons. Women-its always dirty and chilly.
Awesome place to get building materials. Seems like a bad part of town but dont let that deter you from the great deals you can find. Only a $10 fee per year and you dont have to pay it until you are going to actually buy something.
Good prices good merchandise good service
Love this place for all the findings of building materials for reuse. You need patience, to find the right thing, and sometime the vision and imagination to see beyond current state.
Refurbished building materials. Good place to snoop
They have EVERYTHING you could possibly need for your home at ridiculously low prices!!
The Loading Dock has everything and plenty of kitchen sinks. There are light fixtures, chandeliers, bolts, golf clubs, doors, windows, paint, stain, appliances, and plenty of other materials for any DIY project.Staff is polite and will ask you if you need help and will also help transport heavy items. The cost of a membership is reasonable and you can add a 2nd person to your account. If you go one day and see something you might want, buy it, because its not likely to be there when you come back.Groups of large items like doors, tile, cabinets, and bathroom hardware are easy to find, and the doors are marked and have measurements and prices on the side. Prices are fair, though not every item is marked, so you wont know how much some things cost without taking it up to the register or asking.Buying small items like screws are harder to find, especially if you need a specific size. Make sure to bring a pair of gloves if you want to sift through boxes of odds and ends, and keep hand sanitizer in your car for when youre finished shopping.
I have been going to the Loading Dock for years. I have found many great deals there. I now realize that it was most surely the location of 2 different debit and credit cards getting pinched. If I find I have no chose but to go there. I will only use cash. Buyer beware.
Great finds at affordable prices
Get good prices on what you need
Ok process of most items. You can find almost anything there. With a lot of time and patience while looking that is.
Plenty of used and recycled building materials as well as bric-a-brac. Lots of items to be re-purposed. It is free to bring in items but to purchase you have to pay an annual membership fee ($10). I guess they sell enough they can be selective to whom they sell. It seems to me they would want to unload some of that stuff, member or not.
Lots of second hand supplies and hard to find fixtures
Excellent supply yard for the DIY Crew Also a good place to recycle removed cabinets bath fixtures screws you name it
This place is amazing I think I found my new happy place
If your looking for something for the home that us unique and odd. This is the place to look.
Lovely place to find all your home improvement needs.Freindly Atmosphere, they let you take your time to found what you need,& they will work with you & dont mind giving a helping hand.
I love this place,Just cause my dad used to take me there all the time(which also why I hate the place lol) cike but no, this is a very helpful, organized & clean business yall .
Helpful staff. Great finds!
Great place for salvage stuff. Not as elaborate architectural elements as other places, but good.
Great place to find material for reuse. A few things can be overpriced but if you have a really good eye, you can turn something old and dusty into a 💎
Good building supporters.
Most of the time we can find what we need there for real good prices
It was good but they sell things that are old and some thinfs that are new
I LOVE The Loading Dock! This place is amazing! I always find some kind of treasure there for my home remodeling jobs!

Terrific staff and perfect new carpet at an unbeatable price
Huge selection of building materials. Windows, doors, tile. Lots of real vintage materials for restoring an old house.
Good prices on used items. Definitely a better deal than second chance.
New to fix or update your home without spending a lot of money ypu dont have...come to the Loading Dock, today I got free tile for my bathroom all material outside to right when you exit are free.
Great DIY products here.
Second hand home furnishings! We went looking for a door. We didnt find the size we were looking for but there were plenty of other things to look at and landscaping items.
I am thoroughly impressed with my experience at The Loading Dock, today.Theresa & DJ provided incomparable service. .I will be back, real soon, with my colleagues. .Many Thanx. .
A wonder land for your project.
I found everything i was looking for at very good prices. I always go to the loading dock before I go to any big box store.
I love this place!! I feel like a kid in the candy store.
Always something there to grab at a super great price. Landlords and Contractors workshop for discounted appliances and super savings.
I always have a good experience here, the staff is always good to me, lots of selection and fair prices :) I definitely recommend this place if youre looking for inexpensive solutions for rental properties or just want to save a buck or maybe find something unique that no one else has/ carries :-)
First time going there. Have plenty of items for your home and plenty more.
Im addicted. Ive purchased sooo many things to update my home.
Getting a membership is worth it. Has all the odds and ends you cant find anywhere else. Remixed paint is still a bargain, but not the $10 for 5 gallons that it used to be. Now its more like $45.
Love this store. Great finds!
Perfect, place for rehabs antique items as well as last chance items.
