The repair of a porcelain vegetable dish is amazing. There is no sign that the lid was broken. The antique dish looks as good as”new”. The work was finished within the timeline provided and I was informed every step,of the way.

PHENOMENAL RESULTS... everyone has a different definition of valuable. Mine is my 2001 - two foot tall STARBUCKS MUG. It was created by the company for Franchise owners only, in limited quantities to commemorate their 30th anniversary. I was lucky enough to purchase one from an owner. During my recent move it was severely damaged. Damage to the inside as well as the outside. I tried to glue the handle back in place, but that turned out to be a big mistake. I took a bad problem and made it worse and made the eventual repair even more difficult. However, RENAISSANCE RESTORATION and Lana and Albert repaired it flawlessly. Renaissance Restoration did an excellent job in repairing a broken large, reticulated Rookwood pottery vase that I had damaged. They even smoothed out interior cracks in the pieces from prior repairs elsewhere. They were very easy to deal with it, and delivered on all promises on time. I highly recommend them.

They did a fabulous job restoring a cinnabar jewelry box that I have. It had a sizeable chip in the corner. Now you cant tell the difference. Excellent work!

I had an Italian ceramic plaque that had chips missing. They reconstructed the missing chips and matched the color (paint) perfectly. The end product was excellent. You could not tell where the restoration was done and the color was identical to the original decades old paint. Additionally, they did the work quickly and kept me updated during the process. You should not hesitate to employ them to carryout any level of restoration work.

I broke the top of a antique vase in many pieces. Albert restored the vase to its original state. His craftsmanship, color matching and attention to detail is like no other. He truly is a artist. Albert repaired the piece in such a timely matter with numerous updates and pictures of the progress along the way explaining every step. I talked with an associate by the name of Lana, and she was absolutely amazing!!! I made a mistake when handling my sister’s china and was desperate to get it repaired. She gave me excellent advise and was extremely responsive in helping and quoting me. Because the cost to repair would our way the cost of the set, she advised me to replace the individual piece and helped me to find a replacement within an hour of my initial contact. Friendly, knowledgeable, and definitely worth your time getting in contact with this business if you have need for repairs!

During renovations my wifes beloved plate from the islands was accidentally dropped and broken. After trying to fix it ourselves, to no avail, I Googled fix broken plate and found RR. Renaissance Restoration completely restored the shattered boot of my clothtique Santa. The boot was in twenty pieces, and they put it back together and made it look like nothing had even happened to it. A bronze statue on a marble base which had been in my parents and grandparents homes was shipped to me from the UK. On arrival the marble base was smashed into hundreds of pieces and the bronze was scratched in a few places. Renaissance Restoration did an astonishing job putting it all back together so it looks like new. They even insisted on coming to my home to take care of a few marks on the bronze which they inadvertently missed. They kept us informed throughout the process and I cannot say enough good things about the quality of their work.

My experience with Renaissance Restoration was amazing--from my first contact via Facebook to picking up my beautifully-restored Christmas ornament just about a week later. Our first project with Elana at Renaissance Restoration was a two hundred year old mirror which was gifted to us, and arrived shattered. I believed that because both the frame and mirror were both in pieces, there was no hope of restoration. Over a few weeks, the mirror was restored to its original state- with prior repairs re-done in the right way. Now we have a magnificent French gilt mirror in our dining room! And Renaissance even did the installation!I also asked them to repair a large platter that had two large chips along the edges- this restoration was also done to perfection and I can’t see where the chips once were- and prevented me from displaying the piece. If you’re looking for an art restoration company, look no further! There aren’t enough stars to give to Renaissance Restoration. To make a long story short, my mother has a glass candy dish that was passed down to her from my grandmother who passed away. The candy dish has been in our family for over 100 years. During the pandemic, my mom accidentally knocked it over causing it to shatter and break. She was completely devastated and heartbroken. So, I immediately collected all of the pieces that I could and started my research to see how I could get it repaired. Although antique glass repair is very limited in this area and not to mention beyond difficult because of a few factors which was explained to me (transparency, the breaks, refraction of light, etc.), I stumbled across Renaissance Restoration and I’m so happy that I did. They’re very skilled professionals and very kind-hearted people who value their customers and each project they take on.Lana was my POC and from start to finish she made the process so seamless. She informed me that although glass is more difficult to repair than other materials, they could do it... and boy did they deliver! The repair exceeded my expectations considering all of the damage it had endured from the fall. The candy dish has been salvaged and put back together as one whole piece again. I was heartbroken when my precious clay teacups were broken in a cross country move. My friend was telling me that they’d never be whole or look as good again.But I found a a few positive reviews for Restoration and they promised that they could make my cups good as new again. And they did! You would never know there had been any problems with the cups!! And they did it all in only a few days!!Not only that, the service was beyond excellent! Everyone was so nice to me the entire process- they drove to me (I didn’t have a car), bought me coffee, even drove me home!I’m definitely hoping that nothing else of mine breaks, but if it does, I know exactly where to go!

The large green globe for Gone with the Wind lamp which has been posted is the repair which was done for us. The lamp is 90 years old, hand painted on translucent glass. Another craftsman tried and failed horribly to repair it, it was in worse shape when I picked it up than when I had first taken it in. The piece was given to my mother by her father and is very special toher. Renaissance Repair did an outstanding job on it, it looks brand new!!! We had them repair several other pieces, each one better than the next. The aqua colored lid was also one of my pieces, it sits on my kitchen counter so every day I saw it chipped and ugly. No more, now it is repaired and looks great!! My mother.also had a white pitcher given to her by her grandmother, it is probably 125 years old. It had multiple cracks and even a small hole in it, now it also is repaired, without a sign of previous damage.Renaissance Repair are truly masters of their craft!! They brought back to life multiple damaged pieces we had. I highly recommend them, if you have a broken item call them! They will repair it and it will be better than ever.They are very professional, and take great pride in the repairs that they do. I had a badly broken Lenox swan that I didnt even think could be put back together again. Someone recommended Renaissance Restoration to me and I called them. They were prompt, professional, very kind, etc. They gave me a free estimate via cell phone after I took pictures of my broken swan and sent them the photos. Their estimate seemed reasonable considering the amount of labor needed to put my delicate bird back together again. I gave them the job, and a week later my swan came back home to me. I was amazed! The swan looks perfect! No one can tell it was ever broken --. no seams, broken pieces missing or anything!! Only true artisans can restore such a piece with such perfection. This company was absolutely FANTASTIC at repairing and restoring a China dish I accidentally broke. It was very old (my coworker’s great grandmother’s), and broke into 6(!) pieces. Usually we try to glue it back together with a good enough oath muttered... but it really isnt! After watching the Netflix show The Repair Shop where some of the items featured are ceramic or porcelain, I decided to inquire into getting a small 4 inch in diameter dish repaired. It belongs to my Mom and had been dropped and chipped. Enter Renaissance Restoration located in the greater Baltimore area. Llana and Albert offer free pickup and delivery within 45 minutes of their shop! They did amazing work on my Mothers dish!! They are true Professional Artisans that have the knowledge, tools and materials to go above and beyond good enough! Its not a cheap process and it shows. Usually you dont get precious family items like this repaired to retain value. You get it done for sentimentality reasons. Because the value to YOU is priceless! With that said I feel the cost is reasonable. I just want potential customers to know the cost of the repair MAY be several times the current value of the object. But thats not the point. Renaissance Restoration take the time to clean, remove old glue, carefully fill in chips, use appropriate adhesives, delicately sand, paint match... this takes time, skill and experience. The end result is well worth the investment to have your valued object whole, beautiful and back in its place for everyone to enjoy for hopefully many, many years to come! The skill & craftsmanship of the chief conservator cannot be beat. I have never admired someone’s work so much before in my life. The time, the detail, and the results are without comparison.I had my dad’s wooden coffee table restored after battery acid destroyed not only the finish but several layers through the wood, and this man restored it like new.When I moved to my new home, the movers broke the head off of the Geisha of my antique lamp and the head went missing. The conservator recreated a new head identical to the original. Additionally, it was missing flowers and fingers that had chipped off over time, and now it’s in mint condition.I couldn’t be happier with their work.Now I work with them. I believe in what they do. They give new life to antiques that have been broken, faded or damaged over time. I’m so lucky to work with such talented people who have a love and appreciation for art as much as I do.
