I found them on google reviews and seemed like a good place to try for an alternator rebuild i needed. They were courteous, friendly and answered all the questions i had at the time. I was able to get a rebuild from 100amp to 200amp. Their prices were fair i think and the turn around was 1 business day (due to ordering parts). So far after a week of use the alternator is performing as expected.edit: 9/10/21, i am a returning customer, for another alternator rebuild (not the first one, as that is still working, but a spare). This time I asked for the 120A rebuild from the original 100A. Staff was courteous, knowledgable and the turn around was roughly 2 business days. Extremely happy with the service. 5/5 stars

(2015 Chevy Tahoe)Battery needed to be replaced, jump started twice. Came to this shop since its right in my community and I like to support small businesses. Came here kinda under the gun time wise as they were closing soon. ( Twenty minutes or so) . Ran a diagnostic check and alternator was charging fine, but battery was kaput. Shayne gave Bruce the model number and was brought right out to be installed. Shayne did fine work, fire up the vehicle and recheck the charge and all was good. Not to shabby Pretty Pretty Good.

So thankful I came here instead of PepBoys/AutoZone!!! My battery was old dead (2 jumps in 3 days, and 5 years old). The big chain stores were quoting $180 for a new battery, plus a potential wait of an hour or more.These fine fellas got me in right away, had me in and amount the door in about 10 minutes, and were $70 less than the chain stores, with the battery still being brand new and guaranteed for 3 years!The tech who helped me out was a pleasure to chat with while he worked--he found rat droppings in the battery compartment (GROSS, but city living--what do ya do?). He was so nice about it, and even offered a couple suggestions of things to try to keep them out (luckily, it looks like theyre just hanging out in there, but not chewing the wires, knock on wood).Extremely pleased and happy to have this place, so close by!

Wow. I had my car towed to this place because the reviews online were so great, and they didn’t disappoint. My electrical problem turned out to be a very easy fix. They offered me coffee as soon as I walked in, I was there for less than 20 minutes, they were very friendly, and all they charged me for was the (very cheap) part. As long as I live in the Baltimore area I’ll never bring my car anywhere else for electrical issues.

Steve and Bruce went above and beyond to help me out today. A friend recommended them and I called to inquire about a new battery for my rare-ish small car. They didnt have it in stock but ordered it for the next day. I planned on getting a jump from a friend and driving to them, but my battery was dead-dead and wouldnt start. I called to explain and ask if they had a tow service and because I was local, Steve came out to me and replaced the battery in a snap! He was so friendly and let me know that the battery has 3 year warranty, and I can call with any issues. Thanks for making this easy!

I tend to only write bad reviews lately so I wanted to highlight the visit I made at Best Battery Co. Battery died this morning and this shop was the closest to my house. The sales manager took the time to explain what was the likeliest scenario for my problem after I explained it to him. He even talked me out of buying things I didnt need, which was so refreshing given the stereotype of auto care reps. To wrap it up, based on his advice and the new battery, everything worked out great. Kudos!

If you have an older car, or a car with a difficult to find alternator, starter, or generator this is one of the few places that can actually diagnose and repair it correctly THE FIRST TIME. . The dealerships said the part was no longer available. This time they repaired the alternator of my 32 year old Toyota (just barely broken in) and sent me on my way.Easy stuff they do as well.A professional experienced staff who knows, not guesses.I will shortly have them repair the starter on my medium duty truck.I will receive the same quality service I have been receiving from them for 40 years.

Everything has now been resolved, thanks to the team members at Best Battery Co, that have kindly replaced an out of warranty battery after some misunderstanding on my part. I will be able to get my old car back on the road after it was found that my battery connection was damaged by other businesses that offered free battery charging services. Thanks you again for helping me as Im really a busy person and while I had no bad intentions; did not take the time to read more about the warranty limitations. I had to take our company box truck to have the battery checked. I was struck by how eager everyone is to please; the staff really make this the best experience they can. Theyre focused on work, but theyre also happy to chat with customers. While I was waiting for my battery to be tested, I noticed the people walking in and out were quite content to be there and many seemed to be long time customers. The staff knew the name of almost everyone who walked in and greeted them quickly and in a friendly manner. It turned out that I did not need a new battery - just had to charge the existing one. Guarantee for battery they give me one month because its refurbished.battery cost $55 take my old battery- 12$ after this plus 12$,plus tax and I paid 59,45. Its my stupid deal because in Costco store I will be paid same price or little beat more But NEW BATTERY which will work 5 years.

I live on the road full time and was in MD for the MD Renaissance Festival. My carburetor decided to start leaking gas and Ronnie was so helpful he even helped me diagnose a lack of fuel filter just by cleaning and rebuilding my carb (which he did in a day) He gave me tips on getting the van going again and what to look for to ensure the carb was installed and getting power properly. Highly recommend them to all of my Rennie community as well as my local Vanner peeps.

I ran Alexander Rolls Royce Limousine Service for over 30 years ( I probably drove your mom to her wedding and maybe you to your prom ) by happenstance, they were around the corner - I operated out of the Wedding Belle on Eastern Avenue. The BEST kept my fleet running and helped me engineer electric systems to make and keep them running as Rolls Royces and most British cars didnt like to start or run in the rain....go figure.They could have been a typical automotive operation that would say Ohhhh drive like a sport....PAY like a sport. THEY DIDNT. The were always, always fair, kind and professional and here I am today, driving across town because they are well worth the drive - I know what to expect... great prices, honest diagnosis and perfect installations every time..... not to mention a warm welcome that they are known to give to all.Kudos to the class management / ownership - employees like Bruce & company dont stick around for 20-30 years if they arent treated well. Had two batteries that wouldnt enough charge anymore for a crank and was under warranty. Rather than put a load test on the battery they just tested voltage with a meter and said theyll charge for 24 hours and told me to come back tomorrow which I needed batteries for that day. They wouldnt load test which would of told them the battery wouldnt had enough power to crank an engine. Needless to say had to buy two more batteries out of pocket which the batteries were under warranty and had the receipt for.
