Very organized and well maintained by the staff. They have a good variety of goods and furniture, not just clothes. Staff is polite and fast with checkout.

The “manager” Johnson was absolutely rude and didn’t care about me or any of my friends that went in that week. Then a woman named Brenda has very bad attitude and decided to cause a problem by raising her voice and laughing at me when I tried asking a simple question. So I contacted a friend in the better business and they will be hearing from them soon.

Very nice place and who is in charge to manage arranging the item he or she is stylish and classy thank you goodwill for keeping our community happy and get what they like in a very affordable prices

Clean store very well organized but prices are to high on furniture.They need to remember this stuff was all donated they price it as if it was brand new on showroom floor

I usually refrain from negative reviews. Especially when it comes to non-profit organizations however, because of the attitude of one employee. I cannot in good conscience recommend donating to this place. I will make sure that in the future I will donate to a local organization or at least someone who will show some appreciation. Never have I ever been left with such a bad taste in my mouth when giving to a good cause.

Good selection. Lots of holiday stuff. So many jeans. Youll find dishware SETS here that are in good condition. There is lots of space in the store.

I was always happy spending hundreds of dollars at the White Lane Goodwill until the Ming Goodwill opened and started going there. I am aging and sometimes in pain while standing for extended periods of time. I need to sit down... but on this particular day, the Ming Avenue Goodwill was not having it. The young woman manager approached me and told me I was not allowed to sit on their furniture and pick through my basket items!! She said customers were complaining that I was blocking them from looking at the piece and that sitting was not allowed at their store. Had anybody appeared to be interested, I would have certainly moved!! Nobody asked. I was livid and came so close to making a grievance about her---using the loud and downgrading tone of voice she wanted everyone to hear how she spoke to a gray haired woman in her 60s who was in pain. She did not bother to ask if I was okay and would I mind moving on. I left the Ming store in pajn, drove off and never returned! This is how a store zealot manager ruins their reputation. I hope she slips on a wet diaper and...

I wouldnt recommend donating to this Goodwill with so many others in the area. The employee I encountered was rude, and expected me to do the job she is paid to do. I understand Goodwill employs some with background problems. But I have shopped and donated to Goodwill over 20+ years, and have never encountered a rude employee until I went here. I recently had a leg injury and was unable to place each item into its desired category which is why I wouldnt recommend.

Lots off items. Prices getting a bit higher lately. Any way lots off lower price compared. With retail stores. after Christmas sale and good prices. Check it out. Buy todays 50% discount. Red tagged items.

Love/hate love going to the thrift shop because you can always find some cool stuff but I hate that the price for some shirt is up to $4, I purchased 2 Tshirts total was $9 bucks !!! I recently went to The thrift shop on Bernard & Got me a pair of shorts with Two dress shirts plus some baby clothes for $10 & the stuff I selected was not even on sale!

I have to remove my review. After visiting this Goodwill today. I felt embarrassed for the employee working there as their manager Rose was real rude to her and myself as a customer. She needs to come out a little more respectful specially if she is going to speak to an employee making a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes, learn to make your employees feel comfortable to come to you when they need help.

To be honest I dont see how this place is still in business they never have anything worth buying everything is junk I guess people in Bakersfield like buying junk that is the only explanation I can think of why they are still in business every once in a great great great while they might have something worth buying but its a diamond in the rough very hard to find good stuff here and when you do its way overpriced Ive worked at a Goodwill before I know how the pricing works theres no reason why things that get donated to them should be sold for 10 * the actual value

Been there twice, staff was rude both times, they changed prices from what was on the tag at the register to higher prices and argued with me over an article of clothing I found in pajamas saying it was pants and charged me 5.29 for what should have been 3.99. Will NEVER shop here again. Ill just stick to the friendly staff and reasonable prices at the one on Olive Dr.

They had books, thats all I came for. Pretty scant selection tbh. Tons of clothes, pictures, trinkets, junk etc otherwise.

A great place with a great cause. Service was excellent, prices were amazing, and above all a wonderful place for finding Hidden Treasures.

First they didnt have anyone to help me load the small wood entertainment center I bought from them. Then I couldnt fit it in my SUV but the cashier immediately offered me my money back. However the manager(?) came walking up and told me I would have to pick it up the next day even when I mentioned I didnt know anyone with a truck. That next day I discovered it would cost almost $50 to rent a trailer. This same manager called me at home and said I wasnt getting my money back and they were selling it to someone else. Thats illegal - you cant sell the same item twice, to two different customers! The other Goodwill has better people AND longer time to pickup.

I loved it...great items, mostly everything I bought was new and the 2 girls at the checks and were really nice, Renee and christina I think she had strawberryblond hair, she helped me to my car ...a very nice shopping experience!

We visited all the Goodwill shooters recently just for fun, and we found some very nice buys including a pretty set of Noritake China. I think there prices in a couple of their stores are a bit too high, but was impressed with the newest store on Ming and Ashe Rds

This Goodwill is so much better than the one in Rosedale. They have a lot more room too.

Well to tell you tbe truth!!!! i went to two different locations,and to be onest, everything was over priced,and the items were not nice,, as ive shop in manny times threw out the u.s.. and visit your goodwill stores..i really thirent find nothing that i was looking for..in this two locations.. as in las vegas theres alot of good items and in fare conditions. so this time i came hope,,a LITTLE upset about goodwill stores

My experience at the ming location has always been ok Not horrible not great, Except one there is an associate by the name of Mary who works there, She is always very helpful Cheerful And always ready to help She makes my experience and all the other customers in her grasp A really good one . Mary may be the only reason i keep coming back .i live alot closer to the whitelane location. So this rating is based off of Marys customer service
