Store doors close at least 10 minutes before closing time. Its happened to me several times including last night. I even have a video of the cashier saying they close early.

Great customer service. Always clean restroom fast and very professional staff. Would recommend it for getting best lowest competitive priced gas in the area

Samco used to be my go to place for gas. Now the gas station is owned by shell the gas is very expensive. Also after dark there are many homeless people who hang outside of the store making the environment feel unsafe

Friendly service, very clean, sometimes a small wait to pay for gas or your snacks, small business that has a lot of choices if youre hungry!

Gas is cheaper than all of Bakersfield. Easy access, cheap drinks, some friendly employees.

Good store but its usually busy

Im a Canadian travelling through Bakersfield August 31 2015. I stopped at Samcos for gas and prepaid for $75 regular gas. The pump would not work so the attendant at the till cancelled the transaction and told me to try again. Same thing: the pump would not work. The attendant cancelled the second VISA transaction and I left and bought gas at the Chevron across the street. Now I see Ive been billed for two fill ups by Samco. Ive registered a complaint with VISA. Given what the other reviewer has to say about service at Samco, it seems like this has happened before.
