The associate who assisted me, Soledad, was great at recommending the ideal frames and lenses for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend this store.

This is a pretty nice place to get your glasses at. Not only was my service clear and concise, but it was fast and easy. They really listened to what I wanted and I found frames and contacts close to what I was looking for if not better! Edith helped me out and she was really nice, kind and professional. Jessica did such a great job with my eye exam and my childs eye exam. She noticed that my kid was reading the chart backwards, left to right, every single time and noted that it usually happens with dyslexic children. I myself am dyslexic and thought it skipped my child, so Im grateful that she pointed that out so I can follow up with my kids pediatrician. Jessica also recommended a specialist because my kids vision doesnt correct to 20/20 with glasses. I appreciated their attention to detail because we caught it early enough that we can train my kids brain to compensate over time.As far as the glasses, they had such cute frames but they were out of our price range, so Jessica talked to Fernando and they worked out a deal so we could BOTH get 2 pairs of glasses, with bifocals for my kid, for $59 per person. We were able to get two eye exams and 4 pairs of glasses for less than $120 in total, out the door! We highly recommend Stanton Optical to anyone in need, and they were actually cheaper than any on-line store weve used. (We ALWAYS, always buy glasses online, but Stanton Optical gave us a deal we couldnt refuse and we feel blessed to have found this shop!)Bring your kids, your parents, your friends, and I promise you wont regret it.

Went here for an eye exam because it was the only place that would give me a same-day appointment. That’s what the one star is for. The exam was done through a lady on a screen rather than in person. Had I known that beforehand, I would have gone somewhere else. I was told I have “large caps” in the back of my eyes, and to go see an ophthalmologist. No explanation on what that even means. While there, I saw other people seated, getting a thorough explanation of their eye exam results, but I was not given that. I ended up getting my glasses for astigmatism but I do not feel confident the prescription is even accurate because of having the exam done in the fashion that it was.

I had such a wonderful experience here at stanton optical on ming in bakersfield ca. Everyone was so friendly very helpful and oh so patient. The doctor taking my eye exam had a soothing tone and Soledad truly made me feel so welcomed and at home. I think she deserves a raise as well as the entire team for doing such an incredible job. I will absoloutely be recommending this location specifically to anyone who needs help with their glasses, eyes, or contacts!

Carol, Josie and the optometrist were very patient, friendly and understanding. They made the process very easy, answered any questions I had and were very informative. There was a bit of a wait time on both visits but that’s understandable due to the amount of customers they have and the process of getting new glasses and eye exam, you definitely do not want to rush that. Just make sure u make time, plan ahead and when u get there try to ask as many questions you might have because they are very knowledgeable. I want to start by saying This place is a joke!!I had to drive 1 hour to come to this appointment and to wait more than 1 hour. just to be told the ophthalmologist was not there and they didn’t schedule my appointment with her in the first place. So they told me they would still do the regular exam and then schedule another appointment with the doctor. Well the guy that was going to do the eye exam was also very rude. He did not want to do the test he was complaining and was just looking for excuses and giving an attitude so they ended up not doing the exam.Very bad service what a waist of my time. I will not come back to this place.
