This place is way better than Starbucks. Not only do they have good coffee but this is a nonprofit organization that help people in need of jobs and guidance. Love you guys!!?

Got an excellent single origin pour over, recommended by the barista. Really unassuming place from the outside. Lovely coffee shop that I will definitely stop at when I am in Bakersfield next!

Amazing coffee, great environment, music is good and at a tasteful volume, and the staff is friendly.

The cappuccino and scone were perfect. Was perfectly made and with friendly service. Took a bit due to technical issues but was so worth the short detour and time. Definitely recommend.

So being here twice in one day speaks volumes! Especially, since this is not my side of town! I took my mom here for Mothers Day. Heard it was a good place for coffee and gives back to the community. UNDERSTATEMENT! GREAT COFFEE. So not only is this company sowing excellence in to the community, but the Gospel too! Proceeds go to foster children in OUR community to help those less fortunate than ourselves. Thank you for not hiding your light under a bushel! And showing what the love of Jesus Christ looks like!

Very friendly, quick service, and awesome atmosphere. Best part is that their drink sizes are pronounceable. 10/10 will get a caffeine rush here again.

Woke up with a migraine and needed a good cup of coffee to chase it away. Found this really great roaster that helps its community with programs to mentor young adults who grew up in the foster care system. The logo on their shirts says Hope Lives Here and by the look on the staffs faces, it truly does. Really great coffee too! Had a really thoughtful conversation with Zach. His parents have many reasons to be proud. Well done

I didnt realize their hours had changed. But I got there at 12:30 today just when they closed. The barista came out and offered me coffee or iced tea. I just asked for house coffee and she got it for me, no charge. Thanks for going the extra mile 😁

Latte was a perfect blend of caramelized foam with a citrusy edge and half/half, paired with a scrumptious pesto turkey panini that was grilled to buttery deliciousness. Shout out to Marco for taking good care of us!

Ive been to a lot of coffee houses around the world but I have to admit this coffee is spectacular. Smooth rich taste, I can almost close my eyes and picture Columbia. Superb coffee for a great cause too!

Good coffee even though the Coffee was a little on the expensive side. They did have pour over options so that’s a huge plus. Nice area to spend some time and hang out if the staff were better. I did not like the staff talking about Trump and Trump supporters saying they were all racist. They were very vocal in their dislike for him and that threw me off. I am not a Trump fan but I’m not ignorant enough to think that all of his supporters are racist. Would have gotten 4 stars or better but staff ruined it.

This place is very cool. It is among the few local coffee shops that features the convenience of drive-thru service and the staff here are outstanding in their delivery of awesome service and great tasting, high quality product. The surrounding communtity should up their standards to the level of attractiveness that this store demonstrates.

Apparently I had left my wallet and someone was kind enough to go out of their way to drive down the road I was walking to return it to me. Not only is GOD good but it has been my experience to know that both the employees and customers of Covenant Coffee are also good. By the way, the coffee is awesome and so is the service.

What a delight to find a proper coffee shop along our stop in Bakersfield! We stopped at Covenant after reading the great reviews on their coffee and we werent disappointed. Covenant had a nice variety of coffee and pastries to offer, and the barista was skilled in making a variety of espresso drinks. I always order an americano (or a long black) as my first drink at a coffee shop so that I can taste their espresso. I like a dark, robust, chocolatey espresso, and Covenant delivered. They also have a great mission statement...one that I was pleased to support!aloha

This coffee lives up to the hype. Possibly the best coffee Ive ever had in the U.S. Never would have imagined to find such a place here. This is worth a special trip to Bakersfield. Also, nice quiet place to work on your laptop with Bright House internet. Plus, the owner runs an organization to benefit transitional foster youth. Put down your current cup of coffee and come here!

Cool little trendy spot hidden in Bakersfield. Its not on a big main street and its not near a crowded area. Its actually almost on the North edge of Bakersfield. Its pretty noticeable so wont be too hard to find.Walking in, youre kind of taken aback a little with the decor which is pretty wooden looking like. The staff seems very nice, and very helpful. They have a huge roaster inside in case you want fresh roasted coffee, which we didnt get this time. But in terms of their coffee, they know what they are doing. I got the iced mocha and they definitely got a good taste of coffee with a good blend of chocolate and milk. Very smooth to the tongue and not too sweet. The gf got the Starbucks style macchiato as opposed to their own style which is a reversed pour as they call it with a double espresso shot and foam milk.... that sounds awesome too but she didnt get that thinking it might be too strong...Overall Id give this place a good 5/5 stars as nothing really went wrong with my first visit. Customer service was on point, they even came and asked us how it went after we got our drinks. Given it wasnt packed but a good to study. The cash register had some trouble but. Or their fault. Theres decent of parking outside too. I would def go back. One of the better coffee spots in Bako.
