First time visit - what a cute spot! A bit difficult to find at first, its inside the Wells Fargo building on the northwest side (I found someone else looking for this spot when I walked into the building). I got a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk. The baked goods looked great- the only vegan option was an orange cranberry scone, not my flavor profile of choice so no baked goods for me this time.Free wifi made it a great place to work from! I used the area in the back as a stand-up desk while I had to take work calls. Luckily its not loud inside so this worked out well. I will also say that the wifi wouldnt connect on my laptop so I had to hotspot through my wifi connected phone 🤷‍♀️All in all a very nice coffeeshop - Ill certainly return again!

What a cute little place! But OMG...I LOVE their mocha. The best part of the Mocha, the foam on top. I removed the lid to let it cool and tasted the foam on the lid. Wow...delicious!! But drinking it all together has become my favorite Mocha. But if you are a cinnamon roll fan, you have to come have theirs. First of all, its big enough to feed 2 people. But the frosting to roll ratio is perfect. Once heated up, it is amazing. Eating that and drinking their Mocha is heavenly!!

This Harry potter-adjacent themed coffee shop is adorable and has great pastries, coffee, and decor. Check it out. Hidden in this strange building and definitely worth the trip.

The shop was hard to find but had a really cute ambiance.Unfortunately, the customer service was not the best as the baristas were stuck up.I asked about a drink and she explained what was in it, in an impatient tone.I ended up getting a latte for $6.It was nothing special or worth returning for.If you just want a cute IG or snap post, then this is your place.

This became my new favorite spot in town. Perfect for studying. I tried all of their drinks and they delicious, not overly sweet. Everything is reasonably priced. The seating area is super cute with outlets. Only thing is that it gets cold, so bring a jacket :)

Its ok. Theres not a good variety of drinks. Its pretty much just 10 basic signature drinks that all have coffee base., They dont offer anything like ice teas or refresher teas. I hope one day they will offer it. They only offer you hot teas, thats it. The pastry is the same theres very not much of a selection but however they were the best scones I ever had. The scones were soft and fresh. I wont be going back because theres just not a big variety of anything there and sometimes youre in the mood for something other than just coffee. Now if they start adding more drinks to their menu (like Ice teas) then Ill be back, but other than that no.

I was so excited to try this coffee. I am extremely disappointed. Not only was my coffee not made right, a simple order ( I asked for a medium roast hot coffee, add cream and sugar free vanilla syrup). My coffee was served with no cream. When I politely let the young lady behind the counter know that my coffee was missing the cream, the young lady who was making the coffees (there were two young ladies working behind the counter) told her to take off the lid and she added a small amount of cream as no more would fit it was filled to the brim and she handed it to me. I again politely let her know that it was not enough cream and the one who was making the coffees told her to pour out a little bit and she added more cream instead of just making a new coffee the right way. Needless to say, the coffee was horrible, the customer service was horrible . I am frustrated because I drove out of my way to come and try this coffee. I threw the coffee away and didn’t end up drinking it. I will never be back here again.

The design of the place is so adorable and unique, the staff is kind, and the drinks are awesome! We were just passing through, but seems like this place is a gem in Bakersfield!

I really enjoy trying new flavors of coffee! I love the peach+vanilla latte and the Lavender Latte. I also highly recommend the bacon and cheddar scone, it’s very savory. The atmosphere is very delicate and modern and I love the energy it puts off. The staff are extremely friendly and inviting and I love how their centrally located. Definitely one of my favorite places to grab coffee.

I was a little thrown off when we arrived at an office building while traveling through Bakersfield, but Cloud 9 was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, good coffee, and tasty pastries. The space has a very pleasant and unique atmosphere considering its neighbors.

Its hard to find but... They have great tasting coffee with innovative recipes made by friendly baristas in a nice atmosphere!

The coffee is really good but I got a scone and it had a hair. I got a new one and then my cake pop also had a hair.

The Brown and White was a nice treat (brown sugar + white chocolate mocha latte), but I was unimpressed by their matcha latte. Friendly staff and a clean cafe, but alas, my search for an amazing coffee spot in Bakersfield continues...

Cloud 9 Coffee has become one of my favorite coffee shops in town. Their philosophy centering around the environment is something I resonate with and their coffee is second to none! But besides all of that, the baristas there are some of the most caring, lovely humans that I am proud to call friends. I go not only because of their amazing coffee, but because of the people that work there 🙂

I never really enjoyed coffee until I tried espresso. Even then I was still putting loads of dairy and sugar in my drink to enjoy it. That was until I took a trip to New Orleans with my wife and son. My wife and I tried at least five different shops there and each one had very nice quality coffee.After coming back to Bakersfield I had Starbucks and it tasted horrible. It was just not going to cut it so we started seeking out coffee shops around town and came across quite a few. We tried a few shops here and the only one that really stood out was Cloud 9. It seems that they are 100% consistent with how their drinks are prepared as well as using quality ingredients. Sometimes I wont even ask for a flavor in my latte which blows my mind. I never thought I would enjoy espresso without sweetener. This is the only shop in town that even came remotely close to providing us with the same experience we had in New Orleans with coffee.This is now our go to shop for everything coffee. They also have various bakery items from other local businesses that are delicious. Cloud 9 welcomes constructive criticism so they can potentially improve their product as well as pass on the information to their suppliers.

I went for the Harry Potter week... had a horrible experience... I know with this pandemic everything is changing... my phone was not linking to the table menu no one bothered to help they were too busy making drinks. You can not go inside and they wont come out to help. My internet was not working fast enough they close at 3pm it was about 2:15pm when I was trying to order. My order said it would be ready at 2:55pm. I poked my head in the place at 3:05 and they were all freaking out. I was asking about the my order. I told them it was to go and they told me all orders are to go.. they still brought my 4 items out individually with paper straws in the drinks and without a cup holder. I ordered the specialty drinks of Harry Potter. I can honestly say the only good thing about the drink was the glitter.

Came here with a friend to have coffee on a Wednesday morning(not busy). It is nicely decorated. Very welcoming. A bit smaller than I was expecting. Staff was friendly and inviting, offered suggestions. I had the hot lavender latte with oat milk. I asked for soy but they dont carry soy. So I decided to try it with oat. It was my first time actually trying oat milk and I loved every drop of that latte. I am now obsessed. 😍I also had a chocolate chip orange scone that was also delicious!Will definitely be going back!

Stopped by to get an iced matcha on our way out of Bakersfield. This place is super cute and my matcha with lavender syrup was delicious. A lot of matcha is bitter, but this was perfect. Its a little tucked away in the office park, but we saw the sign for curbside delivery.

Very cute spot, though impossible to spot from the main road (within building in industrial park). Solid coffee though no pour over. If you want something significantly better than Starbucks - both taste and ambiance - it’s a good fit.

Cloud 9 is such a great find in Bakersfield! Beautiful cafe, great coffee, kind people and a place intentional about how they’re impacting the environment.

The aesthetic is so cool! Its small and cozy. Beauty cafe overall. They are a zero waste cafe. They charge u a small fee for using their glass cups. But dont worry you can come back and return it for a refund. Reasonable prices. I like sweet but not to sweet lattes so I tried something called the brownsugar latte. It was to sweet for me. This place is those who arent super into the bitter taste of coffee. Im going to come again and try different ones.

Uh spend 12 bucks for drinks with no flavors. Haha. Am a little disappointed but I still will come.
