I came to this car audio shop based on customer reviews. I high recommend this place to you. Johnny has great customer service skills. He went out his way to order my deck kit for my Dodge Durango. I appreciate that a whole lot. Also I got a viper alarm installed Johnny even took time to explain to me how to operate it. To take it further they left the instructions on my passenger seat so I can have it. There was no mess on my truck when they got done with it. Also Johnny kept me posted with the installation process. Thank you again will recommend my friends and family to come see you.

Took my suburban here to get some work done and spent a around 2k. They blew my tweeter and when i took it back they pretended they did not know what was wrong. Shady you might want to go else where. Where they have a longer standing better reputation. Ill go to see Kenny at Auto Sounds next time. (Update) Well I called down and talked to your sales guy Johnny. He said all the right things this time but its a little too late. I took care of it it cost me $50 and i want nothing from you. I dont like the way Johnny acted like I want something from you im not some low life trying to get something for free. I would have rather have had him say the speaker is blown and its not our fault then being told these systems put out feed back sometimes. The frustrating part is to pretend you did not know what was wrong and losing my trust. I can post a picture of the work order if you want.

Brought my 08 mustang in to get new deck installed and get some subs. He told me the deck I had (JVC) was better than the deck I was going to get installed (Dual). So I listened to him and he created a box and made a mount for the two 10s and amp I bought. So the box would not slide around in my trunk. Prices were pretty good. He’s genuine and really cares about putting the right stuff in your vehicle. Weather it makes him money or not. I will be bringing my car and truck and wife’s car back for all car audio items and issues.

I have been looking for fuse’s for my amp for awhile now, couldn’t find the 80 amp round glass fuse, so I tried Bestbuy, the guy in their audio was rude first thing he say is “I don’t have time to trouble shoot right now”, I just walked away, another Best Buy employee told me to try down the street at Bakersfield car audio and stereo.A very nice lady help me out went in back to check what they had, came back with the 2 fuse’s I needed, ask how much and she said no coast! No way I wanted to pay something, and she said give us a review, so this is what I’m doing!Kindness does go along way! Any thing else I need for my tunes I’m going straight to Bakersfield Car Audio and Stereo, thank you again for the hook up, I’m telling everyone about you guys!!

This car audio shop is hands down the best in Bakersfield! Ive had a sound system installed at another shop for a bit cheaper, but they came nowhere close to the quality work they do here. The attention to detail from connecting your sound system and leaving your car well organized (with cables not sticking out or exposed or car parts hanging) is outstanding and commendable. I took my old Corollas sound system and they installed it on a newer one. It sounds amazing and the price for the install was cheap and reasonable. These guys have my business for all my car audio needs!

Johnny goes above and beyond. After my unit was installed, the Bluetooth gradually started giving me problems. Johnny replaced the whole unit without any questions asked. In fact, he was happy to do so because his goal is customer loyalty. Other places in Bakersfield will give you a quote by pulling a number out of the air. If you choose another shop two things will happen: (1) you’ll get ripped off, (2) you won’t get the same service.

These guys know what they are doing and how to build a proper system. Not just selling u what they want off the shelf. Johnny is very knowledgeable and isnt trying to take advantage of people who dont know anything about building a system. I went in there assuming i had a bad amp cause thats what another shop told me. Instead of just selling me a new amp they diagnosed my truck and found out it was a bad set of RCA wires. Saving me over $600 when I assumed I needed a new amp. Great pricing from these guys and friendly staff. Thank you guys for your professional work and honesty.

Definitely go to this place, they literally have everything you need. Called over 10 locations to see if they had some 300A ANL fuses and no one had them, highest some carried was 250A and were $10 each! This place had them, and only for like $1 each!!! Way better prices than online and plus no waiting for delivery. Check them out before you go to other car audio places. Will do more business in the future.

I needed some last minute stuff for my car (head unit, eq, RCAs and other miscellaneous parts). I was trying to get ready for a competition. They are friendly and willing to help me out. They offered great options and brands to choose from. I wanted simple equipment and they had it at a reasonable price that didnt break the bank. I normally order from an online site but in a bind, Ill go here every time. Since then, Ive been going there for basic install accessories like dash kits, wire harnesses and so on. For my basic needs, they definitely have my business!

I was really pleased with the service BCA provided. They were sent the incorrect box for my vehicle and it wasnt discovered until install day. They contacted me and gave me options. Instead of me leaving without nothing, they put a temporary box in. Once they received the correct box, they switched it immediately. My system sounds amazing and I am really happy overall. If there is anything negative I would say, it would be that I found some trim clips and an extra plastic cap in my vehicle, so it wasnt put back together. It is minor and they still deserve 5 stars.

This place is awesome I got a remote start system installed and a double din touch stereo and I’m extremely satisfied with it. My truck was broken into but the thief wasn’t able to remove the stereo I went back to BCA and Johnny had them put it back the panels and fixed the stereo brackets free of charge I’ll definitely be going back.

I made a post earlier under the username jjsjms2137 and I am replying to the owners response which I was not allowed to do. He says that I brought the car back with a gash in the dash that he claims someone else did, when I brought it in there, there was no gash.I expected my car to be in the condition as when I brought it in..The fact is, I had to bring it back in later because they were closed after I left and were also closed the next day....And no one removed the stereo after it was installed. I have members of my family who have installed my stereos previously and I told you that they had it hooked up a certain way that didnt cause distortion..I never once claimed that the stereo was removed or that the wires were messed with. the ONLY one who did anything to that installation was the installers you had...and my car didnt have that gash in it before I took it in there..No one made that gash but your installers.. However, the XM radio antenna was also installed inside the car, which in the instructions in says to install it on the outside..so now every time I drive by a tree, or anything near a tree, it breaks out...never did that before when I had the antenna on top of my previous car. As I stated in my review, you are nice people, and you did the work in a timely manner...but I never once stated to you that the stereo was removed since your installers worked on it. Just because I claimed that I had someone else do It a certain way previously, and how they had the wires hooked up a certain way, dont go accusing me of saying I had someone else remove it and accusing someone else of doing the damage..If you were not closed after I left, and if you were open on that following Saturday, I would have brought it right back in and showed the damage that was done. Not my fault that you werent open. I cant be blamed for that either. when I came back to the shop the installer looked at the installation, He even claimed there was nothing wrong with the install and never mentioned anything to me about it being tampered with. Why?? because it WASNT. This is just a way to point the finger because you know you were in the wrong and dont want to own up to it. I was recommended to you, but since the gash and the fact that you denied it cant trust to have your company work on my stereo again.

My car speaker sounded like it was rattling so I came here to buy new speakers. Instead of installinstthe speakers and sending me off on my way, they explained that nothing was wrong with my old speakers and that it was just the door itself making the rattling happen. This businebushas integrity.

I have been around the car audio game for quite some time and have worked with many shops in the past, but the pricing of Bakersfield car audio, their craftsmanship and workmanship, and the approachability other stuff is bar none. No one else in the area even remotely comes close to their work or the service they offer. Big Rob, Johnny, and all the other guys at the shop are top notch. I put a pioneer NEX headunit, Focal 3 way 165a3 components, a 4 channel Rockford amp and a 10” pioneer shallow mount sub in my Porsche Cayman. I’m ocd and won’t just let anyone or any shop get near my car but I’m glady a customer of BCA, will vouch for anyone to go to them, will gladly go to them time and time again, and am glad to call the guys at the shop who have helped me build my system over the last 6 months my friends. I highly recommend BCA!
