THE BEST FOR MANY YEARS . High quality meats with fantastic seasoning. Ranchera, al pastor, chicken, beans, salsa, EVERYTHING is a must try. We been a customer for years, move out of town, drive down every holiday to get this service. All love here . The owners very friendly, still work til this day!!! ( RESPECT ) lived in Bakersfield came every weekend. Let’s go. No hate all love here.

Whne I was 3 I used to walk there to get some jamoncillo (Im pretty sure I spelled that wrong).

Delicious meats & salsas. Cant go one week without getting asada taco meat to have for dinner. Lots of variety of meats and the seasonings are always top notch.

Their cuts are outstanding!!! The carne asada is amazing and the seasoned chicken is spectacular.

Move as fast as they can. Would be nice to see 2 cashiers for a Saturday, warmer weather, more people are grilling at home.

Bad customer service ! They forgot to put our salsa in the bag we noticed when we got home. My husband went back to the store with receipt and the lady was not helpful. She said he had to wait until the cashier came back from break to verify even though we brought the receipt. Never coming here again. Horrible customer service I just don’t understand why they would think we could go back to lie about salsa!! Seriously!

The people here are lazy they need to clean their meat cutting saw blades,every peice of meat i bit into had peices of bones from the previous cut. Nuckleheads

The meat quality has always been great and good customer service. If this were non-covid19 times then I would give 5 stars. I have gone to this market a few times during the pandemic and nothing has changed. They have a sign that they limit 10 customers and there is tape on the floor to encourage social distancing but no one is actually counting the numbers of customers inside or asking customers to wait. Today there were 23 customers inside with only 2 employees out of 10 employees wearing masks. Its almost been 3 months, thats more than enough time to make new safety changes to their store. If you dont believe in the pandemic or the safety of others that do then this place is for you. Although I love their meat, my health and those around me are my priority so I will stop going to this place. I am saddened about this, but this is our current reality.

This place is on a level all of its own...! I have purchased several kinds of meat over the past several years and have always been very satisfied. The quality is top notch. The staff is very helpful & friendly. Get there early because this little shop gets packed and the parking lot gets full real quick... You might just be better off parking on New Stine Rd and walking to the store... I love this place!

Great ...meats are fresh AND meatyUse to go across town for my meat baskets but was told by several people to check out Carniceria, which is around the corner from my home. Glad they were referred....friendly staff, EXTREMELY clean in store...my new meat basket store...wanted some oxtail soup for dinner today...went there and got huge meaty oxtails for a reasonable price....i.highly recommend them...

Im not sure if all meat is this expensive but the place is so parches de didnt check the price until we were at the cashier and it was $90+ for 5lbs of meat. I find these prices to be extremely abusive. Not worth it. Will never be going back there.

Never been disappointed with their prepared to BBQ beef & chicken. Only 4 stars cause they need to either expand their store on Harris & Stine or figure out a better system when they get really busy, ESPECIALLY durin holidays.

Service is horrible if you dont mind that then the food is good. They say they open at 0800 I been here since 0750 and its now 0810 they just staring at the line of customers and wont open the door.....plus nasty worker just super her nose in the apron

I like this one cuz its very close to my house its something very convenient and they got great meet here and the service is good nice and fast its not really ever packed with a lot of people so youll be in and out very quick and of course they have the the meat there is fresh and not have to worry about anything being not proper its a good location good spot good workers good customers good owner come get ur meet at this area

They got the meat in there. Oh yeah the view was great . whoo whoo im being a sicko there was some fine guys inside and out of the store. Sorry . on the other hand i did go to pick up fresh limons and cabage and it was very crisp and limons nice and juicy.

I would give it a five star review but, the store is getting so small, so many customers for only one cashier, parking lot is getting crowded; the meat, chicken, chorizo, cheese and vegetables are way better than the big V stores. I will keep going to La Carreta, but I will only go when is not so crowded, (like in the hollydays) if I see many cars in the parking lot or lots of people inside the store,..... I would rather go to my second choice Carniceria.

Wont be going back to this store. A lot of items did not have prices. Went here originally for carne ranchera. Carne Ranchera is 7 dollars a pound in Ventura where you expect everything to be up in price. Here in La Carreta it was close to $10 a pound, COME ON! It wasnt even clean! I learned my lesson should have gone somewhere else. Seems like all these little meat markets are abusing of there costumers.
