It’s hard to know where to begin with Stockdale tile because they are such a great company.Our builder, of our new home here in Tehachapi, suggested several different stores and locations, mainly in Bakersfield, for finishing the flooring, countertops and tiling. After looking at several companies we decide to go with Stockdale tile in Bakersfield with their other store here in Tehachapi California and we are so glad we did. Family run business they make you feel like you’re part of their family, very trusting, very willing to work with you on all levels and make sure that you’re happy with what they supply.We decided to have them do the entire home after dealing with them only on a few items and we are so glad we did.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted. We were given an estimate right away. I could tell that if we had not known what we wanted, they wouldve went out of their way to help us out as I noticed they were doing so for other customers! Needless to say, I made my purchase, and would definitely recommend this business to anyone. Prices are reasonable as well.

I purchased tile and carpet for my house approximately 5 years ago from Stockdale Tile and they provided great service. Recently, I purchased pavers for my patio and walkway for a DIY project from a another local store. I had to make a cut to 2 of my pavers to finish my project and thought of Stockdale Tile. I called Stockdale Tile and possibly the owner or manager told me to bing the pavers down. I dropped off my pavers and the gentleman took great care of me. I sent my son to pick up the 2 pavers about a week later and they did not charge for the cuts. My son brought the pavers home and they fit perfectly. The employees at Stockdale Tile were so helpful and truly know what customer service is. I just want to share this and say thank you to Stockdale Tile!

Laura helped me with the flooring for my whole house and made the whole confusing experience so manageable. I would recommend her to anybody. I appreciate how much she helped me understand the different products. She was also very nice to work with and careful with every aspect of my order. Jimmy and his crew were great with the installation and went above and beyond several times regarding various aspects of our moving into a new house. After searching four other tile company’s in town, Stockdale tile was my last search. I was looking for one piece of tile that had broke & needed a replacement to match what I had previously. All the other places I went, said the tile was too old (understandably) or the tile no longer came in that specific color. The man at the front desk who helped me went in the back to look & came back with basically an exact match to what I needed! Thank you! I’ll never forget your kindness!

From the minute I walked into Stockdale Tile my experience has nothing but perfect. I was greeted by a friendly staff who helped me pick out tile for each of the rooms in our home. We were owner builder and I was a little overwhelmed with all the decisions that needed to be made. Lori immediately suggested that I pick one neutral tile for all the bathrooms and then accent each of them with a different boarder so that everything would flow but also have a unique look. This suggest was perfect! We then picked out a beautifulMaster Bath tile, kitchen backsplash, fireplace stone and tile flooring. Everything went smoothly, the tile throughout the house works perfectly together and the friendly customer service I received was beyond what I could have hoped for. Picking out tile for our home was one of the easiest and most enjoyable parts of our building experience. Thank you Stockdale Tile for everything you did to help me.

We purchased tile here for our master bath and they had excellent customer service. Super helpful and everything went quite smoothly picking up/paying, etc. (I paid over the phone after making a decision about which tile to buy). The only reason they didnt get 5 stars was because I was between two tile options. The only difference was one had a brown hint and the other had grey (a porcelain marble-looking tile) and I was not informed that the grey option was over $1.00 more/sq. ft. which seems odd considering they were the exact same tile. I didnt find out until after I had already made my decision and picked complimenting colors for the rest of the tile, so I had to bite the bullet and pay the extra for the color I selected. Overall, it was a good experience though and I would go back...Ill just make sure to get a written estimate if I leave to think about it next time!

I needed a piece of tile to replace a cracked one. They cut and replaced it for free. Super friendly and helpful. It took less than 5 minutes.

Staff was very helpful, friendly knowledgeable. Huge selection of tile products. Only reason i gave a 4 star is beacause I didnt find exactly what I was hoping to with wood grain tile. But would recommend stopping to look.
