Recently, my daughter gave me the task of sewing multiple outfits for her- without a pattern. I found all the materials at F & M fabrics and she loved my choices! The staff is absolutely amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. I live on the opposite side of town, but whenever I take on a sewing project, I don’t mind making the long drive to F&M, more often than not, they will have what I’m looking for!

Very large warehouse full of great fabrics. Has a bigger selection than other local frabric stores. Staff seemed friendly. Signs are placed everywhere to help organize the fabric types. Pretty average prices.Note: Much of the fabric is stacked on top of eachother and rolled up, so you can only really see and feel the selection that is at your eye level.

Excellent staff, excellent selection, and excellent prices.For anyone wondering, know that fabrics here are more sorted by general type and content, not specifically like box store fabric shops, and are stored on long bolts without details rather than on cards with tags. Think more the Garment District in LA rather than Joanns or Hancocks.

Wont go back. Most of the fabrics are outdated. Couldnt find anything I would use. The staff were not friendly. One actually pushed past me. Nope.

My wife loves it. Its a family owned business. They have a huge selection of fabric. The only gripe I have, as a husband who waits for the wife to finish shopping. They dont let you use the restroom any more.

The down side is that the aisles are not properly labeled...at least not to me that is and I didnt see any precuts but I also didnt go through the hole store. The employees are not obeying the stores own policy of distancing and safety to avoid the spread of Covid-19!! Ive seen employees, and the wife of the business owner herself not wearing a mask! No more than 10 people? Yeah right! The other day it was PACKED like any day before the pandemic.I will consider changing my rating for the store if they actually change the way they are handling business during the pandemic. I honestly hope no body gets sick from going to this place.

I had a great day poking around this store. There are so many pieces! Prices range from $2-8 for most knits. They have both apparel and quilting cotton (licensed prints for $10) as well as a large selection of minky for $12 a yard. Definitely worth a look!

This is 1 nifty fabric store. Its huge its more like a warehouse fancy fabric store but my goodness they have a little bit of everything and lots of it and the prices are unbelievable. Pretty good store, but during covid-19 theyve lost my respect. The owners are RUDE to say the least and they dont wear a mask at any time and totally dont respect social distancing. Talking in your face, etc... Some of their employees dont wear masks for the most of the time and also dont respect social distancing. They dont sanitize, and they got this island of hand sanitizer pumps in the middle of the store counter which from a far you can see how gunked up it is from everyone using it and it not getting wiped down. Total yuck and a hazard for your health guys. DONT GO DURING COVID TIME! Place is as crowded as pre-covid, and they dont enforce any of their own s-distancing rules which are common sense... This has really disappointed me, and me and my friends are not going there anymore until this health crisis passes.

The staff has always been super helpful and friendly. I had one day 2 of them helped me search high and low for a fabric Id bought before and was hoping to get more of. We didnt find it - but they helped me search for a good while. Thats customer service.

I have gone there for years and if I search long enough I can find what I want at a good price. However over the last few years the customer service has gone down. I was extremely disappointed the last few times I was there cause I felt the staff rather talked to each other than help me out. This last time was the straw. Three staff were sitting on the cutting table while three of us all needed help in the same row that was in eye sight of where they were sitting. One lady walked out she was so upset, the other was mad when fabric feel on her and I got really pissed when I almost hurt myself trying to get fabric from the shelf. After carding around the fabric for 10 minutes I finally got asked if I needed something and I asked about the price. Inside the tube was $3.99 crossed out and $2 marked, they tried to tell me it was $3.99. Finally one lady was rude to me and I told her to stop being rude and she walked away. I finally left when I was complaining about their lack of customer service skills to the guy and he responded was all I had to do was say something and I wouldnt of been helped, sadly my response was I shouldnt have to ask for help when I am clearly in your eye line and struggling for help. I promised them I would never be back and I mean it. Shame too case its the closes fabric store to my house and if you can find what you wants its a good deal but I rather pay more and be treated with respect and care.

For how ever many years they have been around you would think that they would have more choices among the unique or odd fabrics. I keep going and hopping they have what Im looking for but they havent yet... But I do ALWAYS find something else to spend money on there plus the prices are great.

Came to this place because I heard good things. Will definitely come back after experiencing it for myself. The selection is insane and the prices are great! Not to mention the staff is extremely patient and helpful. I showed up about an hour and a half before they close and literally hand not decided on the fabrics I wanted by the hour 10 mark. Yet they still did not try to rush me, gladly pulled out anything I wanted to see and made this experience ideal! Will be back for ALL of my fabric needs.

June 24 Ok so once again I attempted to go into this store only out of an emergency and was not greeted when I entered even though I met eyes with each employee as I walked passed them.After I could not find what I needed on my own I had to request assistance. She clearly didnt want to help me but gave a small effortInstead of walking over with me to where the fabric was, she pointed off in a herbal direction and attempted to turn around I did not see the fabric so i turned around and asked are you going to show me or am I on my own. She responds oh yeah but never moved. I walked to the back row and she comes around laughing and pointing to the fabric in another direction..Then she says you werent paying attention.As if im a child. Disrespect is not anything I will tolerate so I left knowing I need the fabric. I would rather wait a week (delaying my deadline)than to let anyone talk to me like i dont carry an education I have been around long enough to know how this game is. I hate going in there. I have lived in this neighborhood for 17years and I have had a problem every single time. The owner even left me to help myself once. Im asking all African Americans to not give thembusiness. I dont belive they did anything to anyone about the way i was treated before but the internet will get this to the people. Im a business owner and trust, they know exactly how each person feels who works there. They know and dont care.None of my family or clients will be in there again. Thank God I can order offline. Extensive selection of fabrics. Reasonably priced with an added bonus of buttons, lace, ribbon and I even found leather, suede and weather resistant fabrics. So much to choose from that it can be overwhelming, but fun.

This place is packed from the ceiling to the floor. no joke. so much fabric..its crazy. and BUTTONS. oh my gosh I spend over an hr just looking at all the buttons. 10 for 1.00. thats ok..
