They were very friendly and professional. They had some of the best prices when I was shopping around. I have social anxiety and it took me a while to talk myself into doing it but the staff made me feel very comfortable and at ease. I definitely would recommend to anyone, and have recommended them to a few people who said they were considering getting piercings when I showed them mine.

I got my daith pierced and the lady that pierced it was so nice, explained the risks and how to care for it. They also have a system to text you when its time to come back to have their artists recheck the piercing. So cool and helpful.

Came as a walk in. I called before coming, drove 31 miles to go there and get my daughter a septum piercing he told me the price and never once on the phone said I would need a birth certificate.. a id for her or a medical card until I got there . What a waste of MY time . Like I told him why didnt you say that on the phone before I came so I can be prepared some of us dont live in Bakersfield. People make sure you receive the right info before going thats all Im saying.

Got my nose pierced just the other day and I loved it. Ive always been scared of needles but still love piercings and body modifications. This was my first facial piercing and I was scared but the piercer got me in on a walk in. She helped me determine the best placement and pierced it so quickly I didnt even have time to freak out and it barely hurt once in. Its only been a few days but currently no problems with the piercing and if all piercings are that quick Ill definitely get more there in the future.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS TATTOO SHOP!!!I just recently got a couple tattoos at Sykotic, I do not recommend coming here for a few reasons.I scheduled an appointment at 4pm for two very simple and easy tattoos. I got an infinity symbol on my wrist and a Taurus symbol on my upper arm both about the size of a half dollar coin. The tattoo artists was not done for 3 hours and I was late to where I needed to be after my appointment, and I had asked before hand how long the tattoos would take and he acted like they’d be done very quickly. For reference I have two other tattoos a bit larger than these and combined they both took maybe 40 minutes. But on top of it taking 3 hours, they told me to keep it covered for 4-5 days and after taking off the sticky covering they put on my tattoos a lot of the ink just came off, and when I gently washed them with antibacterial non scented soap even more of the ink came off and I discovered a few of the lines were crooked. I called their shop that same day and let them know what was going on and they said they do free touch ups and would do their best to fix it but the problem is I live 5 hours away and can’t make it back within the time frame they gave me for a free touch up, and was told I’d be refunded nothing even if I sent pictures of my tattoos to prove they were botched. I will now be paying even more money to a tatttoo artist where I live to fix them on top of what they charged me. STAY AWAY FROM THIS TATTOO SHOP!!!!

I went because my step son wanted a piercing. Because we have different last names names, they wanted a birth certificate. His mom could take him but what price could she provide if the name on the birth certificate is different.I just want to see a list of the papers they would like to see to prove I am his step father.

My boyfriend and I are from out of town and came up here for a wedding and wanted to get a tattoos spur of the moment not not only did we get help right away we were able to come back and finish our tattoos. I came in yesterday to get 7 body piercings done and they were so professional, they ordered the piercings worst to easiest to make it easier on me and they checked on me after every piercing to be sure that I was okay.

This place is super clean, professional, and nice. Bobby did my tattoo I had got a signature in permanent marker and I wanted to make sure it never came or. It was on my wrist and it didn’t hurt! That and he has a really good eye for detail. Can’t thank them enough I was dying for this tattoo.

BEST PLACE EVER! got my belly button done, and i’ve had my share in piercings when my mom took me but now that i’m 18, i had to go in all by myself. The staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Good people. Melissa did my piercings and did a great job. She explained everything plus I was emailed all aftercare. Super important to listen to what they say about aftercare or you could mess up what you got done. As nice as they are people need to remember they are not there to hold your hand so if you are going in and are scared etc ask a friend to go with you or listen to music. They arent rude about it but they need to focus on their work. Also TIP YOUR ARTIST/PIERCER.

The reason for at least getting stars was definitely for cleanliness of the store and friendliness of the staff.The rest of the stars I grade was on the result for the technique in which I had to take out my piercing.I currently have 8 piercings with never having a rejection or any sort of infection. I have always been good to my piercings. I was very confused at the fact that when I was on my way out, the piercer said “if it sinks in, come back and we will change it out for you” first of all, that should NEVER be a problem. You should pierce and have jewelry long enough to have space for swelling. Also, I was not from that area, and I was not about to drive 2.5 hours for a different piece of jewelry that shouldn’t have needed to be changed.After a week, I went to a piercer in my area, and he said it was off centered and that the jewelry was too small for the amount being pierced. And that he was surprised my skin hadn’t grown over the jewelry. He gave me a 1/2” and said it should work. He was right, it SHOULD have worked. Except for the fact that again... TOO MUCH SKIN, so the ball was sinking in to my skin making a crater. I tried my best to get another piece that was longer.3 months later of battling this, I went to get a third opinion which told me to take it out because there was so much skin that I could have 5/8” jewelry but that I would have such a hard time finding cute jewelry. I should just take it out and get it Re-Pierced in a couple of months with the correct amount of skin so I can wear anything I want.I have got to say that I am unbelievably pissed off of the amount of money that I have spent on this entire process because of a piercers error. My skin was healing and i had no migration or rejection, stated from all the piercers I went to. It was the fact of too much skin with a small bar. I really wish I could get my money back for someone’s lack of technique, that obviously cannot measure correctly.Which not just happened to me, but also my friend that went with me. - so now we are both out our money AND piercings with nasty scars that we are desperately trying to fix. Maybe nose or ear piercings are good here, but not belly.

My Piercings (tongue ring and snake bites) were super quick and simple. Tattoo came out amazing. Very informative about the after care. Quick healing process. I Would absolutely recommend them to everyone!

I went to sykotic ink today with my friend to get my tongue pierced and her nostril pierced. My friend went first and she says it was practically pain free, and the piercer made the L bar in front of us to the shape of my friends nose. When I got my tongue pierced, CJ was who did it, and I was a bit nervous, but she had her prep work done quickly and she put the needle through very quickly and smoothly, if say the pain was about a 5/10. They gave me a longer bar for when my tongue swells and told me about the aftercare and we paid and went on with our day. Overall, this is the first time being professionally pierced and it could not have gone better. I had alot of fun and me and my friend love our new piercings.

Not family friendly at all......so apparently if my wife or i wanted a tattoo. Either or i myself would have to sit outside with our son as we uber or lyft almost everywhere. So safe to say they wont ever be getting our business.

Got my first piercing here recently the position its in looks good and seems fine. However, if you want friendly service I wouldnt recommend this place the chick who did my piercing looked super annoyed that she had to do her job. Since it was my first I was nervous, but it seemed like she didnt care at all. Thats my experience though maybe she was not have a great day but I dont think Ill be going back.

I got my double piercing and the people who work here are kind, helpful, and extremely exprerienced. Would 100% recommend this place to anyone considering a piercing.

So I went here to get my 4th lobes and a conch piercing about 2 months ago, they were friendly and they did a great job, I paid $80 plus tips and both of my lobe piercings have fell out, my right one about 2 weeks ago and my left one today, luckily I was able to get another piercing in them because I couldnt get the piercing back in because it was very small, but when I looked they were not 20g earrings but I believe 18 or 16g almost the same size as my tounge ring. Im just upset that they came out and they were bigger around than I expected and Ive had my second lobes done there and they used 20g not 18g, and the earring itself was very short maybe 1/4 or less and I swell a lot and that didnt help but I didnt want to touch them and get an infection. I wouldve gone back to get longer piercings put in but I live about 45 minutes to an hour away and they were the closest to me.

Booked a text consultation with Casey and this was suppose to be at 7 pm today Casey contacted me and asked to start the TEXT consult early every time I said anything Casey didn’t respond for 45 minute to an hour later this went on for about 3 1/2 hour then I asked Casey was he/she still there and their excuse was that the studio was really busy (on Sunday during COVID-19) that they would just go ahead and pass on me they have no portfolio online yet expected a potential new client to know exactly what to do unreasonable and very unprofessional would never book anything again

Terrible tattoo and terrible piercings.The short guy tom did both.And the bald guy told me can you look somewhere else when youre making those faces? when I was getting tattooed. Not everyone has the same pain tolerance. Would rate negative one if I could.

Positives: Shop looked cool and legit, very nice decorations and original artwork, overall nice vibe, equipment was clean and good quality. Did not have to wait long or make an appointment. Also was offered to have my earring changed for free once it healed as I expressed to my Piercer how I had had difficulty changing other past piercings by myself. The piercer was also helpful in answering my questions.Negatives: Staff could have been a little more professional and friendly. I had to speak up first and ask my Piercer what his name was as well as introduce myself. I also had to sometimes repeat myself when talking to him because he was listening to music.Overall: I ended up getting two piercings, $40 each for a piercing in each ear. Im satisfied with the way both came out, but for $40 I believe the quality of the earring was lacking. One earring I recieved at this shop is the same type I already had from another piercing place, but Skycotics earring seemed to definitely be inferior in the grade of the metal and thickness. Perhaps I could have asked for an earring as similar as possible to the one I already had.Would I go hear again? Yes, if there were other options available for better quality earrings. If not, I would seek elsewhere.Small note of advice: If this is your first time getting a piercing, I would make sure to do research/ask about the guidelines for taking care of your piercing. There are certain things you can and cannot do but my Piercer did not tell me everything I needed to know. However, he might not have told me because I had several others in my ear already, possibly assuming I already knew protocol.Hope this information helps you and good luck! 😉

I got my rook and foward helix done here I have a huge piercing bump behind my foward helix bc I had accidentally touched the area and the piercer didn’t reclean the area after she noticed since she told me not I touch th area and instead pierced it so now thanks to here I have a huge piercing bump on the back of my foward helix. How do I properly clean my earring so the piercing bump will go away?

I went in to get a tattoo that i had always wanted, payed $100 for the word tethered and a small star. When he showed me the word the first time he spelt it right, no i look at my body...teathered. The star is incredibly ugly, just disproportionate. i am thoroughly upset.

Went in to get a tattoo. Talked to an artist and put a deposit down which went towards the $200 owed. I gave him a rough design of what I wanted and he said he would call me within 3 days to show me a few drafts to let me pick. One week later still no call, I wait a few more days before I call the shop, during the middle of the day, asking for the owner which I was told was not in. One week after calling, I drive over there (30 mins since I live across town) and talk to the owner wanting my deposit back and discuss how poor the customer service is and how it reflects back on her. C.J. (the owner) tells me she wont give me a refund and that what happens between an artist and the client is between them and not her business. And she apparently was there when I called even though the guy on the phone said she wasnt. I ended up getting a gift card instead of my deposit back and found a place way cheaper with better service and my tat is amazing. In all these people dont care about you as a client and are WAY overpriced.
