A great experience! We were on our way to another furniture store and stopped at Mattress Firm on Ming to check out prices. We had already purchased a mattress at the other furniture store, so we were headed back to buy two more. However; Zachariah at Mattress Firm was awesome at helping us out and the deals were way better. The quality of the mattresses that he helped us decided to purchase from Mattress Firm was better priced and top quality. Zachariah was a phenomenal salesman! I had a great experience with the Mattress Firm located on Ming Ave in Bakersfield. Zachary was my sales rep and he did a great job helping me select two quality mattresses and adjustable bases at great prices. Then he went above and beyond sorting out some delivery issues and made sure everything was taken care of. All in all, Im very happy I went to Mattress Firm (and Zach) for my mattresses.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They took the time to make sure I understood the difference in the mattresses and what would be best.Also they didnt push any mattress just because it was more expensive. They really helped me find the best mattress and didnt try and push me to something I didnt need.

This was my first time buying a mattress and I had been shopping for a few weeks I had my mind set on a mattress at a different store and I had saved up enough to finally buy it. I got to that store and I realized that they dont keep these in stock and it would be 3-4 weeks, which wasnt good as I just threw my mattress out on my way to buy the new one. So I went to Mattress firm on Ming in Bakersfield and I showed them a picture of what I wanted they showed me a few different mattresses but the pricing was to high so they worked with me and I got a great price on a bed with a sleep trial and Ill have the mattress the next day. Thanks to Ashlee and Zachariah I left the store feeling much better than I did coming in. Whenever I need another mattress I will be returning because of these two and the assurance of buying a new mattress and not having to worry if Im going to like it in a few weeks or not. Overall a good experience. Staff is very friendly. Could maybe use a few more people during the Labor Day Sale they are having. They were out numbered by customers 5 to 1 when I was there. Prices were higher than expected, but I havent bought a new bed in 10 years. Ashlee worked very hard to get us what we wanted in the price range we could afford.

Do not buy a matees from here OVER PRICED and not worth it. Not even a year with my mattress and it’s probably the worse mattress I’ve ever slept on now. Dents on the sides feels like I got a cheap quality with how much I paid.

I was missing a leg on my bed I bought 2 years ago. Never looked underneath so didnt know till I moved. They got some, sent a team out, replaced the missing leg and left me the rest of a set in case! Were very nice and professional! Great experience! Give those guys a raise!!

Went yesterday to shop for a mattress for the very first time. I was there for over an hour trying and laying on different mattresses to feel the different types. Octavio did a great job in listening to what I wanted and gave me options that were going to fit my budget and needs. He even let me lay on them for a bit without seeming like the typical salesman who stays on you. He gave me some space and made me feel comfortable. He even went out of his way to explain the manufactures warranty and the logistics of it (went to 4 other mattress stores and no one explained this). To top it all off, Zachariah (Manager) was able to make sure I walked out with something I wanted without feeling like needed to spend so much. I appreciate their customer service and will recommend for anyone to come here whether you are a first time or frequent buyer of beds/mattresses, etc. They listened to my needs and wants, did not push me to try something I clearly was not interested and allowed me to have a comfortable shopping experience. I will definitely be back.

Zach was extremely helpful! After telling him what we were looking for, he pointed us in the right direction and we were able to try out several different mattress based on our preferences plus some alternatives to have some comparisons. They have a great selection there and the staff really know what they are talking about. We never felt like he was trying to get us to buy something we weren’t interested in and Zach was quick to ask about budget and needs. He checked their clearance sections without us asking to see if any of the styles we liked were available at the discounted price. We left knowing we made a great investment in a bed and frame which we really needed to do and we are excited for the arrival in two days!

We had a wonderful experience in Mattress Firm Bakersfield, and 99% of it was due to our amazing salesman, Brandon Montes. Buying a mattress is kind of an awkward process, as you have to walk into a giant room and lay on beds while a stranger watches you. Brandon turned it into a fun and easy experience. We can tell that he truly listened to our feedback, because he was able to point us to the perfect mattress with ease. We found the one within 15 minutes. Throughout the process, we asked Brandon questions about the different mattresses, including composition, price, and comparisons. He did not stumble ONCE, and was quick to answer with detail. He kept us informed regarding delivery/pick up dates, and when we found out our box springs were coming later than usual, he made it up to us by offering some additional services as an apology. We love our mattress, but Brandon is truly the one who made our experience outstanding. We suggest giving this man a big fat bonus or raise.

These workers are rude and ignorant. I purchased a adjustable base with massage features, ect. I had the product for 6 days and within the six days the product failed to work two times, the first time we had a problem the manager of said store fixed it and it was fine. However two days after the product failed to work again and we only wanted them to take the product back and to let use refund it due to it being defective. The manager not only got upset and angry. We were not able to get a refund and had to get the same product again.

I have been a customer at mattress firm for years. Way back before the name change. They got a 4/5 stars this time because I was told a price that was to include a metal frame and when it was delivered it wasn’t invoiced. My paperwork didn’t show it either. My fault but, it was specifically talked about when at store making the final purchase that that price was with frame. Still a customer and will continue to be.

Back in Feb 2020 I bought new mattresses for my son and myself. We had great service and lots of advise available to us in making our decisions. Mattresses are not cheap so the more questions I could ask the better. Due to the change in mattresses we waited the time suggested to see if our bodies would acclimate to the changes. I have loved mine since day one. My son however has had some issues with his mattress and back pain. With Covid19 and businesses shut down we were not able to address the issue until past our timeframe. I wasnt expecting to be able to switch his mattress due to this and was incredibly grateful that not only was accomodation made for this request but due to a current sale there was no price difference, just the delivery fee. Plus we found 2 very cool new Purple pillows that should help us each out. Thank you Mattress Firm for your knowledge, support and friendly service!

I went in telling them what I needed and wanted and how much I was willing to pay and they not only found what I wanted but went out of their way to find a better and more comfortable match to what wasnt available for me at that moment. Basically I got more for my money than I was asking for. I saved about a thousand bucks. And got a better warranty.

I hardly leave reviews but I was very impressed by this company. I was recommended by my brother who also purchased from them about a year ago. My father recently had surgery and I wanted to get him an adjustable base to make him more comfortable. They didn’t have any deliveries available until later in the week but they sensed my urgency to have it ASAP and made a delivery for the following day happen. Thanks Chase and to the warehouse workers for your help. I will be a repeat customer for sure.

We went in to compare mattresses but they did not have the sleep number. Loved my salesman. However, the warranty on my previously owned bed was not honored due to closure of department. I would like to come back but at this point I most likely won’t. There should be another option for warranty issues. I was willing to spend extra money and my salesman gave me a great deal, however, how can I do a new deal when previous warranty was not handled? Again my salesman man great. Not his fault.

Zach was extremely helpful when I was in a bind to purchase a mattress for my disabled sister, who is 3.5 hours away from me. When Costco misadvertised being able to deliver its mattress within 3-5 days (actually up to 3 weeks with Covid), Zach was on top of it to deliver a comparably priced, good quality mattress to my sister within 2 days! Very grateful to him and the company for being so flexible and on the spot!

I went to a few other stores looking for a pillow but wasnt happy with their prices. It also seemed that no one was around to help so I had to just look around at the products on my own.When I arrived at Mattress Firm, the sales person named Brandon immediately introduced himself and really took the time to figure out what i needed. It was honestly the best customer service i had received so far.A pillow later, I was really happy with the way Brandon showed me the various pillows and I even tried a few beds because Ill definitely be coming back when I need an affordable mattress.
