Niki is extremely nice and so is everyone at her salon and boutique. Her shop is family owned and one of the best salons I’ve been to in Bakersfield. It’s so welcoming and I left smiling while looking great. She works quickly and efficiently. I was able to bring my lil boy in with me while getting my extensions. The quality is amazing as well as the pricing. I’ll definitely be a regular now.

I had the pleasure of getting a hair cut with Mrs. Nikki herself and left super satisfied!! She was very straight forward with what needed to be done to my hair and she def worked her magic. Where do I even start with how AWESOME Nikki and her crew are??? Knowledgeable, kind and patient. I am new to getting box braids and they got me in same day and did and absolutely amazing job with my hair. Nikki was truly so kind and welcoming. I would recommend again just because of her hospitality. About 5 hours of work and Nikkis assistant being so very patient with me and how long I wanted my braids. I will go back for all my braiding and hair needs to them! They absolutely earned my returning business.

I’ve had my hair braided twice with Nikki and both times I left completely satisfied. The store is well stocked with all the hair supplies you need, and Nikki will gladly give advice. I love the way my hair looked each time I had it done. I will definitely be going back.

My first look I love my braids when I took them sown a mess I still have glue in my hair cant even comb thru my hair terrible a mess she should have told me she didnt know who to so my hair instead she tries a messes up real bad I lost a lot of my hair braids last 3 weeks I paid 180 spent 300 in store do

I went to Niki’s to get a weave but was afraid because I didn’t want glue in my hair .she didn’t use clue and I love my hair.I would highly recommend niki’.also very friendly lady.I will go again.

They braided my 12 year old daughters hair in small single braids in less than 4 hours. She hates to sit for a long time. This was a blessing I do not mind paying the price if they work this fast. I just moved to Bakersfield from Atlanta and was looking for a good certified African American hair braiding salon in town. I was so glad when I found Nikky hair salon. Her work is neat, fast and painless as it can be. She owns the salon and beauty supply store right in the same building so you can buy the extensions you’ll need for your hair if need be. I recommend going to her. You’ll love your hair just as I did mine.

I got my sisters hair braided for hair birthday Muy was done so quick I couldnt believe it less than 5 hours for full head of small individuals. The braids were beautiful and lasted more than 3 months. I made an appointment to get my sons locs retwisted and styled by NikkiNiki is very sweet and extremely courteous. Her sister Joy owns the Ethnic Boutique next door. I love it! I wear mostly african print clothing, caftans, dashikis and such she has beautiful prints in there. Today I went to buy my 13-year-old son a dashiki hes been wanting for quite some time. I ended up putting some items on layaway as well. As long as I am in Bakersfield they will ALWAYS get my business. Beautiful ladies inside and out.
