Clean, beautiful, great prices. Customer service needs a bit of help, but the Cashiers were quite adorable, and very kind. Definitely a good place to go. Great selections always
Always has good variety especially the seasonable items. Prices are reasonable to other craft stores Ive been to. Staff is friendly as well as knowledgeable of products sold. Store is clean & easy access.
My first time going into this Joann fabric and crafts and tis the Halloween season, I must admit the prices were quite high but the selection and quality is pretty good. Im reviewing the halloween decorations at this location because that is what I went in search of. I did find a small clearance section and those markdowns were okay. The price for spray paint is marked way up from Home Depot or Lowes. The best deal you could find at this store is certainly the fabric. The selection is immense! every color you could imagine and the Halloween selection was quite spectacular as well.

I tried to place an order and for some reason their site always comes back with error message. So I always just go online to Michaels or walmart and reorder. I never have issues there.
The Big Twist yarn has become one of my favorites. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help. I like the pick up store option but wish we could apply more coupons upon check out in the app like we are able to do so in store. Maybe it is just me, but their rewards program is a little confusing on how to use them. All in all Joann is a great place because they always have great sales going on.
The associate Carrie is really rude. I did a order pickup yesterday and they were taking long to let me know my order was ready so since I was near I stopped by and asked if It was ready or if I can just grab the item if it wasn’t and she was instantly rude. She was no help at all and seemed so bothered by just doing her job. She said it wasn’t going to be ready till tomorrow. I went home and as soon as I got their I got an email my order was ready. I went the next day there was a line outside so I called (since it’s an order pick up). They did not answer the phone at all. I called several times. I assumed they were busy so I went to the mall and decided to come back later when they weren’t busy. I went back and called and they weren’t picking up their phones once again. It didn’t seem busy so I was getting a bit frustrated. I went inside and their was only one other customer checking out at the registers and then their was Carrie on the other register doing nothing and not picking up my phone call. I walked to the line at the register to get my one item and she walked away instead of helping me with my order. I waited for the other associate to help me but it got me upset with such bad customer service she has given time and time again. I understand she doesn’t like her job but she doesn’t have to have an attitude or not do her job properly. She made my experience terrible at joanns. I have never had a great experience here. No one ever asks if you need any help. The times I’ve gone there has been long lines, only one person at the register, and plenty of associates. Good customer service goes a long way.
They had some great deals. The bathroom situation was definitely not ideal (strong urine smell)...and they only had one chaser up front so the line was pretty long.However! Kala at the register was a rockstar! She was so sweet and even though it was super busy, she was very professional and quick!

Dont waste your time. Head down the street to Michaels. Staff never knows any answers to questions and are super rude. I asked an employee named Ashley a question and she literally looked at me and the turned around and walked away. Worst experience ever.

I had my first visit a Joann Fabrics and Crafts. They offer more than I could imagine for sewing and craft projects. The store is clean well stocked and employees were very friendly. Im looking forward to a return visit.
Terrible customer service, very slow cashiers. Even Though i love what they have for sale, to be honest i was disappointed by the way i was treated as a customer. If you are looking for better customer service or cheaper prices and great quality go to the fabric store in niles.

They dont have alot a fabric anymore. They had mostly cartoons fabric. I was looking for a Victorian look fabric. They are just not as good as they used to be.
Everything you need they can have special items delivered to the store just ask them.
This place is super good and has a wide variety of things to shop for like baking to sewing to random things. Love this place to shop. Thing is some of the things are a bit overpriced but there are deals on some things!

Don’t go to the Bakersfield store, we made Christmas blankets for the kids in our family and half of the fleece fabric we bought was cut short. One of the fabrics literally had multiple holes in it and when I tried to exchange the fabric BECAUSE IT HAD HOLES the manager was extremely rude because I was asking to exchange when I no longer had the receipt. I would understand if I wanted a refund or if it was for a product with no issues, but I was only asking to exchange a product that was damaged. Won’t be returning
Yesterday I went into this store in a good mood & came out feeling like I was just a bother to the woman who was cutting the fabric into yards. She was SO RUDE. She cut my yards of fabric extremely crooked, its ridiculous, her JOB is to cut fabric & now my project is coming up short. This woman needs to go find a job she actually enjoys, the entire atmosphere in that store yesterday was tense because of her. They will no longer get my business.
The workers kept repeating how understaffed they were and were slow at the cutting counter today. I left because of the unprofessional customer service.

Small joanns store. Low lighting and strong cinnamon smells that soaks into the fabrics. Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful.Small selection of random fabrics. They have very good deals if you go in on the right week.Ordered some fabric online that the website said they had in stock here and was available for same day pick up. However when I went in I was told I had to wait 3 weeks. Very disapointing. Not sure if its the stores fault or the companys but I do not suggest ordering online from them.

I never go here unless I check on the app if what I need is in store.Ive found less expensive fabric at a family run fabric store on Niles but its an ordeal to to experience, lol. I dont sew much any longer so the small amount I need is much easier to purchase here even if its a dollar more theres always their awesome coupons.Staff always knows whats in the store but not always enough around when its busy. Line is always awful but moves quick enough.

Joann Fabics is basically my second home. I teach sewing and I sew costumes (and cosplays) and clothing in my free time. Sewing is my hobby and it is my life, so having the perfect fabric for each project is important. Going to Joanns is a blast because they always have something new to check out and buy! Everyone there is always SO nice and helpful. They are all very knowledgeable and help me find the perfect fabrics and supplies for my projects.The fabric selection is great, they have options for apparel, costumes, quilts, bridal, and other special occasions. They also have half the store stocked with craft supplies from yarn to paint to beads and trims.I love walking around and shopping at Joanns, I highly recommend it! :)

Love this store! Went for some yarn that I needed to finish a baby blanket and found just what I needed, same color and at a sale price, too. Also bought some other items, that I didnt need but, I was there so they jumped in my basket. Oh, and a bag, to add to my collection of bags, lol 😀.

This my 5th time here and everything time the same lady that cuts the material it’s been very rude looks like she is so unhappy in life and she take all her problems to work, She needs to learn more about customer service, last time I order 4 yards and paid for 4yards when I check the stuff at home she only give me 2 yards it was to late that day to come back so I just let it slide, but 2 yards per customer they probably making big money, I never coming back to this place and I will make sure I let everybody know about there customer service

This location is small but mighty. They had a great selection of paints whereas the local competitors are sorely lacking any selection.
They are only store NOT allowing people In, yet they refuse to even look at material through a window to make sure you get the right thing, The manager is acting ridiculous, and closed on Friday DURING A PANDEMIC when this store is the most essential to be open with many needing material to make masks for our frontline medical workers!! They should just shut them down and use the other fabric shops

The staff is friendly and accommodating. They always have some sort of sale going on. So you have to check back often. The facility is clean. The air conditioning works very well, which in Bakersfield, it is a must. Its nice to have a Joanns here. I recommend it. ALWAYS check their web site for coupons...
The precautions the employees and Joanns fabric is taking os wonderful. Although it was a little sad to see the shelves so bare (Im sure as a result of everything going on), but us crafters will survive.
I recently moved to the area. The staff has been friendly and helpful each time Ive gone in. I just wish the store was bigger so they offered a greater selection of fabric, crafts, etc, as I havent been able to find exactly what I needed on a couple of occasions. I wish this location could also offer classes. Maybe time to add on or look for another location? If you build it, they will come. 😉
Very friendly and pet friendly as well. I had my dog in a carrier and they didnt mind. Great sales on holiday fabrics. Take a number to get in line to have your fabric cut.
JOANNs is practically my second home. Best selection of yarn in the area, my kids love all their seasonal craft project kits, and I love that they allow multiple coupons so my budget stretches further.
They blame this pandemic for them not being able to do their job, yet every other store in town is doing just fine. Even their competitor Michaels which is right down the street is doing just fine.
